Was disappointed with the room. No sitting chair, just a desk chair. Front desk had to turn on hotel ice maker and fix the tv. Parking lot extremely well lit.

My wife and I stayed here overnight on our way to New Orleans, and we were quite pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and we loved the fact that the floors were laminate and not carpeted. The room looked newly renovated. The bed was king-sized and comfortable, and the air conditioner was quiet and maintained a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe. We appreciated the fact that the staff had read our request in advance via Hotels.com for a first floor room and had one reserved for us upon our arrival as there is no elevator on the premises. We also appreciated the fact that the toilet in the bathroom was a comfort -height one which is great for us older travelers. Water pressure in the shower was strong and we had plenty of hot water. We also appreciated the full-sized refrigerator in our room and the fact that it also had a small kitchen sink in addition to the vanity sink located outside the bathroom. Our only concerns were the fact that the provided towels were rather thin and we were given only one hand towel. Also no shampoo. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

No first floor rooms left. No elevator so had to carry all up a flight of stairs. Sheets not clean. Could not bring myself to shower in the bathroom. Slept in a sleep sack in my clothes to avoid the bedding. Clerk at check in was nice.

I've stayed at a couple hotels in this city over the years for work. Found out about this one couple months back and for the price and wear they offer i find it very hard to beat. Pleasantly! Suprised by the accommodations and the cleanliness of the establishment. Parking lot is highly well lit. Feels safe and stays quiet the times I've started for a couple days. They offer a full fridge, kitchen sink area, just found out last night if you flip the switch on the power strip on the wall by the bed it gives off the perfect light level and color from a behind the bed light bar(i was using the stand lights and they're just stupid bright). Just a great place.

I was surprised that the room was nice and clean. The outside and office are not updated and a bit dreary. I was also pleased with the very bright lights outside where the vehicles were parked. I felt safe inside and that my vehicle was safe. It was quiet, too.

Great price. Very clean and updated. Nice, easy check in. Good location. Great bed and shower. No breakfast but plenty of restaurants nearby. It can get noisy. If there isn't a train close by someone really likes blowing their horn. I will definitely stay here again.

The good: location, easy access; comfortable beds and nice amenities; pet friendly. The bad: prior to arrival, I called for 2 days to ask if a hairdryer was provided, nobody answered the phone. A hairdryer is not provided. There was long dark hair in the sink and tub. Absolutely nothing to hold on to in the shower. That was ok for me but not my 76 yr old mom. The laminate floor was filthy which I found out after walking around in my socks.

Nice almost full size refrigerator. The toilet, sink area, and an extremely bright light over the sink are all controlled with one switch. Best to wear a headlamp for night ventures to the toilet if there are two people in the room . There is a large open space where a chair should be.

I liked the large fridge and bed. Seemed more for an extended stay than my overnight. I could hear some cars and a few trains but they didn’t keep me up. Slept pretty well, good shower but no shampoo/conditioner. For price well worth it and impressed. This is what things should cost.

WE ARRIVED AFTER MIDNIGHT. I COULD TELL THE FRONT DESK LADY TIRED, BUT SHE WAS AWESOME. SMILING, CONVERSATIONAL, AND JUST A VERY POSITIVE DISPOSITION. IT WAS SUPER QUIET, AND VERY CLEAN.

Check in was a nightmare. ‘Lobby’ was horrendous. Clerk had her phone on speaker so I could hear her talking to someone & that someone had the mouth of a sailor. I had zero expectations on the room after that but was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good. Comfortable & clean, was just what we were looking for in a quick overnight stay. Dog friendly too.

Let’s be realistic: This is a not-too-recently refurbished Motel 6. I’m fairly certain that all the “good” reviews are astroturfed. This place is an alternative to sleeping in your car, but just barely. The front desk was rude and a little cagey about their pet charge, which I found out is $75 per pet per night. The lighting is harsh, the refrigerator was noisy, and the paint was peeling. On the bright side, the hot water was hot and the pressure was good. I cancelled a stay I had booked here for November because of this experience. Take from that what you will.

The maid cleaned my room, which i didnt ask for it to be cleaned, and she stole my money. And the property gave me some money for my lost but, i specifically told them Not to clean my room Until i leave, i was here on business

When I was making reservations i put in the search bar Meridian, ID. It pulled up hotels and also this hotel in Mississippi. I didnt notice this. Yes, my error but hotel was not understanding at all.When i reserve a room i go by reviews. This hotel did have good reviews so i reserved it without realizing it was in MS. When i was leaving my home to drive 4 hrs away to a hotel i thought i got in Meridian, ID it showed more info and that it was in MS. I called the hotel right awayand it went to a voice mail. By the time hotels.com got ahold of them for me they wouldn't refund my money. People are human, they could've still rented the room out and it was not fully rented out. I feel like they could've been more accomidating. No i would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

It was awful! We made reservations online in November of 2024 and we requested a ground floor room as my girlfriend is disabled. We called the day before and the day of and confirmed our reservation and that we were on the ground floor. They said yes. When we got there they told us that no we were on the 2nd floor and they did NOT have an elevator! We showed them our printed out reservation showing we requested a ground floor room and they said they did not show a record of it. We were told we could have ground floor but it had 2 double beds in it and we would not be able to sleep together! We were going to be there for several days and this was not okay. The room was filthy! The floor was all icky and sticky and your feet got filthy walking in there! My girlfriend ruined 2 pairs of socks trying to stay off the floor itself! They never cleaned the room while we were there and we had to ask to get more towels. Then we had to go up and down the stairs. My girlfriend is disabled and that meant she could go down the stairs once a day and up the stairs once a day. the rest of the time she was stuck in the hotel room.. It really messed up the enjoyment of our trip! We will NEVER stay there again and I wish I could give it a harsher rating than terrible!

When we got there they told us that no we were on the 2nd floor and they did NOT have an elevator! We showed them our printed out reservation showing we requested a ground floor room and they said they did not show a record of it. We were told we could have ground floor but it had 2 double beds in it and we would not be able to sleep together! We were going to be there for several days and this was not okay. The room was filthy! The floor was all icky and sticky and your feet got filthy walking in there! My girlfriend ruined 2 pairs of socks trying to stay off the floor itself! They never cleaned the room while we were there and we had to ask to get more towels. Then we had to go up and down the stairs. My girlfriend is disabled and that meant she could go down the stairs once a day and up the stairs once a day. the rest of the time she was stuck in the hotel room.. It really messed up the enjoyment of our trip! We will NEVER stay there again and I wish I could give it a harsher rating than terrible!

Nice & clean stop along I 20. Better than Motel.6s, good safe location. Nearby restaurants and gas stations, easy on, off the interstate. Would stay again. Shower floor was spongy, but other than that no issues. No highway noise, good place to rest up after a long hot drive. Cheers

Truly disappointed that the office allowed two rooms of families to sit outside and drink until 9:00. Very noisy. Then, the train that went by every 10 seconds honked its horn at intersections. Didn't sleep much. Did I mention the homeless people walking by? As I was pulling away one of them was talking to one of the hotel guests. Not cool.

Relatively nice place to stay. Property management and staff is nice. Main problem is at night there seems to be quite a few substance users up late there making noise outside all night on the property so sleeping here is probably not going to be as restful as you hope.

I was surprised that the room was nice and clean. The outside and office are not updated and a bit dreary. I was also pleased with the very bright lights outside where the vehicles were parked. I felt safe inside and that my vehicle was safe. It was quiet, too.

The room was extremely clean. It appears to have been remodeled somewhat recently. It is perfect if you are staying awhile with the kitchenette. Bring your own shampoo, and blow dryer. No breakfast, which was fine with us. Bed was comfortably firm.

I didn't realize it was an extended stay so there was no breakfast available. However, I did like having an almost full sized refrigerator to re-freeze my ice packs. The suite was very clean. Really a great place for the price!!

Completely surprised by how clean everything looks. If i were to stay a while for a contract job it would be perfect. Has a ACTUAL refrigerator with a REAL freezer, a stove, microwave and it's very close to the interstate and town. Easy to get somewhere.

Roaches In the room and dead ones in the fridge. Someone came in after I complained about the conditions and left a cigarette in my hotel room, most likely to try to frame and say that I was the one doing it. Housekeeping did not come by at all the whole 6 days we were there. We only received extra towels after we called the front desk. It was not as described.
