All ice machines no functioning. Almost all washers and dryers non working. Staff was nice enough to get us ice cubes from home freezer trays in the kitchen. Saw people scrounging thru trash looking for tin cans and food (?). Saw maintenance man chase a young man saying he was going to call the police. Motel is almost impossible to find with GPS. Behind other motels and no sign to see. Had to get directions on the phone from the nice lady on the desk at 8 pm. I would never recommend this motel to anyone.

It was high 90’s and the ice makers were broken on floors 2&3. First floor ice maker was empty. The toilets were the small round ones and were low and unstable. Need to be replaced and upgraded. Breakfast was nice and food was nicely arranged.

The hotel was under renovation according to the sign on the door. The walls were thin and could hear all of the things happening next door…The shower pressure was weak. The shower wasn’t very clean. The wall was peeling in the bathroom. The lotion by the sink had fallen off of the wall. The large light in the bathroom did not work. The ice machine on our floor did not work. The breakfast was pretty good. The waffle mix one morning was sour, but fine the next morning. The outside grounds were well kept, but the inside needed some cleaning. It was an ok stay; we would stay somewhere else next time.

Basically they are polishing a turd. Hotel just needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It is under renovations and there are signs stating this. Alot things were broken the ice machine on the 3rd floor, the shower head, the coffee machine in the room. The water pressure was non existent. There was a dirty towel left in a drawer. There was a very distinct rotten smell in the hallway and the room. The bed was way to hard like sleeping on the floor. But.... The staff was wonderful and helpful and very kind. For all the things that were amiss the $90.00 price tag on this hotel is ridiculous.

We arrived at 1:30 a.m. and were given a key to a room we went to the room only to find out there was a do not disturb sign on the door and people seemed to be using the room despite the fact that they were not present at the time. We were then given a new room and told it was an upgrade that had been refurbished we get into the room and it appeared as if maybe someone had been recently evicted who had been living in there I'm not exactly sure but there was spaghetti noodles and meat sauce on the nightstand and in the refrigerator there was a used car of soap in the bathtub and hair there was toothbrush spittle on the bathroom mirror, there was a yellowish clear substance on the the curtian and there was a disgusting film all in the inside of the bathtub it was the grossest hotel room I have stayed in..

Arrived late in evening. Bed was comfy so slept well. But upon awakening discovered the bathroom had not been swept nor mopped. It was dirty with a shoe print IN the shower. Carpet had bits of food on it. Front desk response was housekeeping will not be in for several hours. No water pressure.

We have stayed at Sleep Inn before, so I know what a Sleep Inn should be. However, I was very disappointed at the condition and cleanliness of the building. There had been a leak in the ceiling of our room before. We know things happen and that is ok. The problem was that the damage from the leak had not been repaired. The ceiling was chipping. Now with that said, please be reminded I do not know when this leak occurred and I do feel like it was fairly recent. Besides the leak (like I said things happen and I could have completely been ok) there were multiple stains in the hall way, in our room, and bed skirt. On service, it was ok.

Bathroom had no fan or overhead light working. Fridge wasn’t cleaned-food/milk left behind. Strong marijuana smell in elevator and near our room. No working ice machines. The window in our room looked to be ready to fall out and there was black dirt on the sill. The curtains were gross-looked like someone had burned them or thrown coffee on them. TV screen had 8+ spots where the LED lights weren’t working properly. On a positive note, the staff was friendly!

The hotel rooms were so dirty that I could not stay at the hotel. I changed rooms twice and had to leave. The first room was horrible, the toilet was filthy, the chair was covered with stains, and the phone was disgusting. I went to the front desk and the clerk gave me another room. The carpet was badly stained in the 2nd room. As exhausted as I was, I checked out of the hotel and went to the Holiday Inn across the parking lot. I was refunded my money for the night.

Shower water pressure was so low that it emmited only a thin stream of hot water. Barely able to wet oneself.. TV was old with permanent spots on the picture screen. Coffee maker in lounge area hardly worked and coffee tasted horrible. Very noisy A/C. Overall cleanliness was good.

My first room had no cover on the shower drain, the flat screen was going out and the backlights were showing through. Tv was the same in the second room. Getting the replacement room was a little difficult and time consuming. Breakfast was pretty good and had a good variety of choices.

Checking was terrible and staff was unprofessional. The $100 deposit for incidentals was not listed in the site and was not necessary since most of the time it’s not required. The towel in our room was still dirty. Will not stay here again!!!

As a choice member I have reasonable expectations for each of the brands but our stay at this location started off with an arrival at approximately 10pm and I was the only guest checking in, but the front desk clerk could not remember her password and it took her 35 minutes before she finally called her superior who assisted her. Also this location requires a $100 deposit at check in but that wasn’t mentioned at the reservation which I did via hotels.com. When we got to the room we were exhausted from our 5 hour drive but the room was dank, the carpet and furniture were dirty. The drywall around the A/C unit had evidence of water damage and what appeared to be mold Since we were only there for 1 day we just dealt with it

Front desk clerk wasn't pleasant. Word terminology means a lot. Everwhere else ask for a credit card to hold for incidentals she said i had to pay a deposit. When i questioned she said you can go somewhere else. Then i was having a private conversation with another quest, who said she charged him the same. She told me if i said anything else she would have me removed. DON'T STAY at the Sleep Inn in Meridian, Ms. Hotel is staff is RUDE. I asked for a receipt for my credit . Didn't happen. Morning crew just as rude.

Hotel is terrible. Needs a lot of repairs and cleaning throughout. Receptionist seemed annoyed that I rang the bell after waiting for 10 minutes to check in since no one was around. One word questions and answers is all I got out of here. I definitely don’t recommend staying here

Our room smelled good. Great A/C - we actually were able to sleep because it got cool enough. Breakfast was way better than normal free breakfasts and staff kept the area clean and the items were filled. We took the stairs and that area could use some cleaning as well as the ice/laundry area. But we didn’t hang out there, so it didn’t bother us. Checkin/out was friendly and efficient

The staff, Norma, wasn't very friendly or accomdoating. I booked 2 rooms at the same time. However, we could not get 2 rooms side by side or on the same floor. When I got to the room, there wasn't a TV remote. I was told by Norma, to come down and she would give me one. The remote I received was DIRTY and DID NOT HAVE A BATTERY COVER on it. Before she gave me the keys to the room, she asked if I or one of my friends could go check out the room to see if it was ok. She states, "One of the housekeepers forgot to clean some rooms and she wasn't sure if that was one of them." I was NOT PLEASED with this stay and would NEVER book with this facility again!!!

After traveling 800 miles, it wasn’t great to check into a room that already had guests in it. And to be told that it was the second time that that had happened that night. The elevator was sketchy and no current inspection was displayed. Otherwise it was fine for a quick night.

I own a company and have to reserve hotels in several states and have never had a driver with a problem until last night checking in putting a card on file for incidentals because the driver's name didn't match the card. I used that card to pay for the hotel but they refused to use it when the driver arrived. Even at this hotel we've had drivers stay with no problem. They did send me a CC authorization but it took almost an hour for the driver to be able to get to his room. Someone with a little too much power last night and they certainly used it. Won't stay there again

The hotel was really nice, close to great dining. Staff recommended the Rib Shack about a mile away. If you ever stay air this location, you have to go there. Otherwise, the hotel was outstanding, great full breakfast; eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, oatmeal, toast, coffee, tea, waffles, it was great!

There was no ice in the entire hotel, light was out in our bathroom, no bowls to make grits at breakfast, no yogurt, microwave at breakfast only turned and did not heat, no straws. Staff just said they were out of everything.

The price is great. There has been renovations going on for the past few years. Overall I would stay again. The breakfast was great. The lady who worked in that area was awesome. Food was fresh and hot she kept everything stocked. She was nice
