The main reason I chose this hotel was because of the pool... well it was closed. I asked why it still shows on their website and they said they haven't had time to change it. The people at the front desk also looked like they had just woken up at all times of day. The rooms were ok, the bathroom door hit the toilet so you couldn't even open the door all the way. Under the bed I found a bottle of body armor that the previous guest drank. Best part of the stay was how comfortable the bed was.

We booked this hotel due to its close proximity to the fairgrounds. After reading some of the bad reviews a few days ago, I almost cancelled our reservation. I’m glad we did not. This a no-frills hotel, which we knew when we booked. Check-in was fast and staff are pleasant. The hotel is going through renovations, and our room was one that has been updated. It was clean, the mattress appeared newer, and the bathroom had a new sink. A huge TV and a fridge and microwave were in the room, as well as plenty of storage. Although this hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, we were each given a goodie bag upon check-in that included a bottle of water, apple juice, yogurt, an apple and orange, and a breakfast bar. That was a very nice, unexpected touch. The only downside, which wasn’t even a huge inconvenience, was that we arrived home late and the parking lot was full, so we parked across the street. Nice stay at a decent price.

I think they are trying to update the property but it has a long way to go. The room is better then you think it could be by looks of the outside and lobby. There is newer floor whebut they carpet is cover the other half of the room and feels as though they placed it over random chucks of rock. The carpet feels wet to your feet and leaves your feet black if you mistakenly choose to walk barefoytside

Booked a stay there due to the pool they had promoted on their website. When we arrived a week later, the pool was in the middle of being renovated. Checked their website that night, there was no mention of the pool being temporarily closed whatsoever. They update their prices daily but don’t bother to let customers know that one of the big reasons some people use hotels for is not available.

Rodeway Inn was a reasonable rate. It was clean and certainly served me for my stay. The staff was kind and accommodating. The proprietor allowed early check in for me, as it available on that day. I was disappointed that the pool was closed (contrary to Expedia’s description) but there was a tidy microwave and fridge in the room, with Nescafé coffee available in the lobby at all times. If all you require is basic, this is good place with friendly service.

Its good for a quick cheap place to stay but you get what you pay for. Room looked clean on the surface but was far from actually clean and resulted in us checking out after an emergency and the room was not going to work for us. Had a very musty smell.

The building needs an update and things need to be repaired. Several ceiling tiles were missing and the hallways were dirty. I didn’t feel comfortable parking my car there because the area does not look safe and there were several people “hanging out” in the parking lot. The room itself wasn’t too bad. I will not stay there again.

Staff was so rude ! Wouldn’t agree to amount for room that was online. Just a hassle. Place was awful. Highly wouldn’t recommend to anyone ! Staff just plan awful and rude! Couldn’t even understand half the time and then wouldnt believe I paid online so I told them what they were doing was fraud after I showed them I booked online!

Upon coming in to check in I waited to be helped. I noticed the sign on the glass stating to let them know if you have a pet. As the man checked me in he kept saying don’t smoke in the room. If he hadnt been busy being judgemental and rude he would’ve heard me tell him I had pets. I came back later on with my dog I was in the room no more than 5 mins and the phone rang he was yelling at me about my dog. I told him i told him and it was a pet friendly place it had said. He charged me for 15$ Pet fee I gave him 20 and he didn’t give me change. My boyfriend got there and asked what the issues was and if we could wr least get our money back. The guy started yelling at Us, no refund! He called the police on us and tried to get a no trespassing on us. We didn’t stay and would like our money back !
