Hotel was generally ok. Issues were no body wash in shower dispenser. The breakfast was very poor. The main problem was with the airport shuttle. I had contacted the hotel with our incoming flight time and asked about the hotel shuttle. The only response I got was that the shuttle operated on a fixed time schedule. What they didn’t say was that this was that early morning that was every two hours. When we arrived at the airport we had trouble finding the shuttle location and after waiting for 15 minutes still no shuttle. I called the hotel to be advised that the next shuttle was over an hour away. We were fortunate to find a very helpful airport assistant who organised a taxi for us. The whole episode resulted in it taking over 2 hours to get from Terminal 3 to the hotel. All this could have been if the hotel had advised us of the shuttle operation schedule. We could have got a taxi and been at the hotel over an hour earlier.

Lovely hotel with a coffee maker, nice rooftop pool, and gym. Rooms are spacious with nice high ceilings. Convenient being close to the airport and also easy access to the Creek and Al Gharoud area. Would recommend and stay here again.

Ibrahim was so helpful at front desk , I arrived Very early from Australia and he did everything possible to check me in and advise of Metro and how to get around . Breakfast was great too ! Same for rooftop pool ! Would stay again

Excellent all round. Wonderful room, breakfast, amenities, pool, gym, service. Only blemish is its impossible to work out how to get a hotel shuttle pickup from the airport based on instructions. So on arrival just get a cheap taxi.

The hotel indeed is very close to the airport, but you can't walk there, at least from the main terminal. Especially when you have luggage and children with you. The hotel is advertising itself as "walking distance to the airport ". In my experience , it is misleading. Would be better if they have explicitly recommended a use of the shuttle. Which is quite practical alternative. Runs evry 20 minutes.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations. The room had a strong odor that made it uncomfortable to relax, and the overall condition felt quite dated and not very clean. I had just arrived from a long trip and was too jet-lagged to look for another place, but I honestly couldn’t wait to check out. I hope management can make some improvements, because the location has potential.

The staff emailed me before checkin to say that a shuttle would be available to for transportation to the mall and when I got there they said it was discontinued. The cleanliness of the room was not to my complete satisfaction as it was quite dusty and the carpet was stained. I did like that the staff was friendly and it was convenient getting to and from the airport.

A clean and extremely comfortable and spacious room - plenty of free bottled water, coffee and tea. Toothbrush, vanity kit, shaving kit and more provided in the room. Everything I needed and more. Quick check-in and out. Free shuttle to the airport. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe here.

The room was fine and tidy, but sheets and blankets smelled a little stale, like it had been a smoking room for a long time or they needed a deep cleaning. Also there's this weird red spotlight over the bed that lights up every time you move - not sure if it's supposed to be a nightlight or a motion detector for something but made it difficult to sleep deeply. Lastly, it's super close to the airport, which is great, and cabs or Ubers are cheap and take just a few minutes, if the shuttle schedule doesn't work for you (runs only once an hour.). I was hopeful I could walk from the terminal after reading some of the other reviews, but maybe I got lost or Google maps didn't take me the right way, but ended up walking over a highway overpass with only tiny sidewalk, which felt a little too adventurous, and then dragging my suitcase over some dirt paths where there were no sidewalks. I think maybe you have to go through a parking lots to get a more direct route, but definitely plan it out before you go if you're hoping to walk.

So convenient to the airport!!! We were welcomed graciously by Rubi and Mansour. Our Ambassador Elite status was quickly acknowledged and we were upgraded to a very clean and spacious suite on the top floor. Wifi was fast and steady. Love the strong shower pressure and generous toiletries. Breakfast is great. They also offer a lot of vegetarian choices. I had the best hummus ever at the bfast buffet!!! Thank you to omelet cook Michael for his friendly vibe very early in the morning.

I have stayed here before as it is so convenient for the airport and very reasonably priced. The staff are all really lovely. The buffet breakfast was good and the evening meal was also tasty. The bed was really comfortable and there was a free shuttle to the airport. You can walk to the metro if you want to go somewhere. Highly recommended.

Staff were not helpful during check in tried to give me 2 rooms instead of suit with 2 bed rooms Next morning shuttle asked me and family with 2 kids to leave because we have too much luggage even though we arrived before most people Then they offered me a van to take me and my family to the airport they said it will be 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting I booked my own uber van size arrived in 1 minute

Strong smell of cigarette smoke sometimes, I don’t think they enforce their smoke-free policy (there are no signs like the policy says there should be). Fire alarm went off briefly one night. No walking directions on website even though it is only 5 mins from airport but route is not obvious. Breakfast a bit disappointing - porridge was strange, pastries were inedible and no bacon to make up for it (though maybe to be expected in a Muslim country). Gym was good and well equipped, pool was OK though typically small.

The property did a great job of providing the schedule for the airport shuttle. The directions were easy to follow as we navigated from Arrivals to the pick-up point. The airport shuttle service was prompt to and from the airport. The evening staff were very attentive at check-in and check-out. Prasaud ensured that we had an easy check-in and check-out. At check-in, he explained the dining options for the buffet breakfast and dinner. We took the buffet breakfast and one dinner. The dining staff were friendly. They made sure that we had our breakfast beverages on our table by the time we selected our food from the buffet. The omelette bar was a welcomed surprise in the buffet. The young lady who made the omelette was very friendly. She made tasty omelettes based on my requirements. At dinner, the chef was very accommodating and made a meal for me because the available options contained foods that I am allergic to. The Mini Mart shopkeeper was very helpful and had the items that I needed. The bar staff were friendly. The Travel Desk representatives were very knowledgeable about the various tour options. They helped us organize for a private tour. Ali, our private car tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city of Dubai as well as the new changes in the city. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Aloft Dubai Airport Hotel and we are looking forward to staying again!
