Quality Inn Houston East I-10

The general manager was not very courteous when we got there. She was very rude towards the fact that we didn’t know there was a $50 charge due at the time of check in. The elevator was dirty and on the 3rd floor the down button was not functioning correctly. So we thought we were stuck there. So we had to take the elevator up to the 4th then down to leave. When I told the GM in the morning she said yes I know there’s a sign which had not seen one. I then told her if she knew that was the case why we weren’t informed of that when we checked in her answer again was there is a sign. By far the worst stay experience we ever had to date! Oh yeah the tub water was running when we got into our room.

ELEVATORS BAD CONDITION

Elevator broken. A little dirty

No Landry the dryer did not work. The elevator was working on and off afraid to use it. Breakfast was a frozen breakfast needed to microwave. Horrible.

First the receptionist was super slow attending us , elevator was not working it was bad stay inside more time and scary, no breakfast In our room the bathroom door didnt lock Too much homeless around the hotel i didnt like that bad hotel not staying no more there

Overall, it needs to be renovated. Replace EVERYTHING, especially the bathrooms. The elevator is barely working. It smells like an old building that just has been up for years. Make it back to what it was when it first opened.

The photos used on the listing are so outdated, the elevators were definitely sketchy, and we found a roach on one the pillows in the room we were staying in, which discouraged us to even want to try the breakfast, staff wasn’t rude but wasn’t friendly either or welcoming.

The ac didn’t work. We were sweating in our sleep. And the door didn’t lock. Someone tried to come in while we were sleeping. But the silver safety lock wouldn’t let them come in

This hotel is trying to update! New paint, new toilet. New carpets. Its a process but toilet installer left a gob of caulking struck on the counter. Painted over mold, new carpet was wet from the concrete floor below "sweating"..more mold expected. Best bagels in a hotel ever! They were fresh, high end. Watch the entrance doors. They are very slow to open wide enough to walk through with a suitcase.

First time reviewer here but I recommend to not stay at this hotel. The rooms had roaches and were not clean. The elevator is sketchy and super worn down. Sometimes it took the elevator a little while to open the doors. The left one was a tad bit in better condition than the left. Just looking around the property you can tell it needs more repairs than the average low cost hotel. On the third floor the elevator buttons did not work and one of the lughts was just hanging bye a thread.

Dirty cockroaches

There was roaches and carpet pulled wet floors and staff didn’t want to help and was rude

Roaches were everywhere im there!!! went to 3 diff rooms on floors 4-6 and they all were filthy!!! & bug infested

The place was very clean well I thought it was. Walking out the side door to my car, I saw roaches on the wall. This morning me and my husband got up to shower, there were more roaches in the bathroom. Room smelled like pee. Other than that, staff is very nice people

ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES!!! This has been the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. When we first arrived, there was no one at the front desk to greet us, we had to stand there awkwardly while we waited for someone to help us check in. I walked around the reception area and I saw a lady at the front seat with her back to us around a corner playing on her phone or something. There were roaches in the bathroom and climbing on the walls around the room. When we first walked into the room, there were crumbs on top of the comforter. There were holes in the furniture and curtains, and weird stains EVERYWHERE. It looked like there were blood smears in the bathroom, and the toilet could barely flush toilet paper. The tv remote didn’t have a back, and it could only turn the tv on or off, we couldn’t use the tv at all. There was also no smoke detector in our room. There was a spot where it should be mounted, and you could tell that there was one there at some point, but not anymore. The facility itself looks like it is falling apart. There are ceiling tiles hanging loose, the elevator buttons don’t work, and there is loose trash scattered about the halls. I walked in at around 8:00pm and saw a used bandage and a water bottle cap on the floor in the hall, and when I got up for breakfast they were still there. Honestly, I didn’t even try the shower because I was too grossed out. We just slept here because we had already paid for the night. I will never set foot in a Quality Inn again

The first room i was given had a family of roaches scurrying from under the TV. Second room has dust strings on the ceiling, hole in the bathtub and you can see the areas where the walls have been repainted

This hotel is infested with baby roaches so you can only imagine how disgusting that is. Woke up to roaches crawling on me in the bed while I was sleeping. There was a roach on my water bottle and in the bathroom faucet. Hotel staff was rude and naive to the issue. They did nothing to reimburse but changed the room and the room I was changed to only APPEARED to be cleaner. This hotel is a 0/10 for EVERYTHING. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. I am taking this issue to corporate.

Not clean, roaches inside bedroom,

My original room was halfway cleaned. I let the lady from the front desk. She came to look herself. I didn’t have a problem with at all. My second room ac smells of mildew

The tvs didn’t work, floors felt wet from the air conditioner and the breakfast food that was given in brown bags were a week over expired. The washer and dryers took money and didn’t work. We couldn’t even get a printout if our receipts because they said the printer didn’t work. No one spoke English when help was needed but when they were just out and about they spoke English very well. Horrible experience…

I will not be staying here again! I first get there and the elevator seems like it was about stall or break. I get to my room and it's a mildew scent in the room, so I turned the AC on which should've been on already seeing it 102 degrees in Houston when I flew in. The bathroom was horrible! There's a hole by the vent and it looks as if someone ripped the vent cover off the wall and then did a poor attempt of putting it back. Then when I took a shower the water went from comfortable to scorching hot. I tried to turn it off but it seems that the washer is broken in the knob, however, I was able to turn the water off. I informed the staff but no one to fix it, so I took a hoe bath for the remainder of my stay. The bed frame looked a mess as well. I will not be staying there again.

Property requires some renovation. Both lifts are not in good condition. Bathroom lock was faulty. Coffee maker was kept in rest room. There is a space next to TV stand to keep this. TV was faulty but replaced after complained. Bed was at few inches heighter than normal height. Breakfast was good. Staff was courteous.

Room is clean has all the amenities that you need fridge microwave etc

The property was decent. However, the front desk service was unwelcoming, unprofessional, and rude. The room was clean, but there was nothing else around the property.

Overall the stay was nice , but definitely not a hotel I’ll booked again . My room was dirty when I first got it . Seems like nothing was clean prior to me arriving. I asked to be moved to another room ,thankfully the staff accommodated me with that but came to find out the 2nd room was as dirty as the first one so I just gave up and didn’t have a great stay there.

They have a deep thing about if you look through it out like this one you have to pay $50 but they don’t tell you that until you get there that there’s a $50 deposit so I had to sleep in the lobby until 12 o’clock midnight and wait for $50 to get loaded on my card my do they just started so this is terrible. This is the app you need to do the hotel telling you that so it’s a whole lot of inconvenience for someone that was using the last of their money to get a room for the night. It was really no.

Great Staff and Service

We were at the front desk unattended for a while no sign of anyone around. It smelled like cigarettes and ash in the lobby. It looked extremely dirty. Would not recomend this hotel

I wasn't informed before booking the I would also have to pay a $50 deposit. I booked through Expedia, so I don't fault the hotel, it just would've been nice to know before booking. Staff was super nice and extremely helpful. The hotel is clearly old and needs some deep cleaning and remodeling.

What is presented to be a clean hotel in a decent area, this specific Quality Inn is simply not that. There are numerous people of all walks of life that constantly loiter outside and in the lobby, and the door locks on the doors outside are broken off making it feel very unsafe. There are roaches in the rooms, they seemed to be in the bathroom majority of the time. Be aware of the locations you’re staying in before selecting specific hotels. Aside from the negatives, the staff was sweet and the breakfasts were great!

Did not really like that people hung around outside the hotel. Smelling like smoke around the parking lot.

Location , near inter state 10 and near downtown houston

Construction around the area .

One of our vehicles was vandalized to robbed the tools of our crew. A few more companies were affected, we were lucky the stolen van wasn't our company vehicle; but feel sorry for the other company crews.

Area was questionable but the hotel itself is pretty decent.

The atmosphere is calm, your favorite fast-food and store is in walking distance. You're not far from downtown or anywhere else...

Definitely the worst hotel we slept on during our US road trip. It started with a fog of Marijuana in the lobby when we should check in so I understand why the receptionist is sitting behind a glass wall. You don't feel safe here and there are a lot of suspicious people in and outside of the hotel. Very dark area.

The hotel was okay. The area the hotel is in not so much. Seemed like everything was out of order. No hot breakfast - it was pre packaged. I think alot of ppl live there permanently. Probably won't stay there again.

I liked That they have upgraded the parking lot and shower. What I didn't like was the breakfast it's not like it use to be. I didn't even wanna eat there

Excellent breakfast. Clean and quiet hotel. Excellent stay.

They did not provide the breakfast. We had to ask for the breakfast and then one of the staff lady who is very old came and asked us to wait outside. She said hotel has “grab n go “ breakfast (although nothing was mentioned in the site). We really felt like beggar.

NO Breakfast. Hotel is run on a shoestring budget and it shows. Marijuana smoking by other guests in rooms is rampant. Would not bring a spouse or family here.
