We were staying here for access to Capitol Reef NP. We also visited The Petrified Forest in Escalante SP and Goblin Valley SP. The room was very clean. The restaurant on site was excellent. As was the Patio restaurant. It has pizza and other selections. We would stay here again on another trip.

The location of this hotel is perfect - right outside Capitol Reef National Park, and the view of the rock formations from our room was amazing! Parking is very convenient and the staff was helpful and friendly. The attached restaurant also had beautiful views. I highly recommend this property.

Convenient location for our visit to Capitol Reef. Quiet, comfortable and clean. Excellent restaurant for dinner and really liked that they had coffee and pastries for us to start our day.

Good stay. Had a cabin which was nice clean good shower and hot water. They use refillable dispensers in shower good for environment. Basic good hotel. WiFi is weak in cabin 3 and cell service was only on bar on 5G at back of place. Fine for toting not sure if you need to work online. Would stay here on same rote again. Restaurant closes at 9 snack grille/bar at 930

Very mixed review on this place. The staff were nice, the view and location were great and the cafe next door was excellent...but the room itself was very dated. The door knob was about to fall off, the A/C unit didn't work right and when we opened the window to get some fresh air (since it was cooler outside than in), the sills were covered in bugs and cobwebs. Also, the shower in our unit was crazy blasting of water (you could see water damage along the door frame and walls), it was so hard it was uncomfortable to use it. I'm not too picky about our hotel stays but I don't think I would stay there again unless we got one of the newer cabins.

Nice view. Dirty room…hair, dust, just nasty. Should be a 50$ a night room. Motel 6 is probably better. Sorry…great location and could be great with some clean up and maintenance

Cabin was super clean. We had the cabin the had two cabins adjoined. We never heard the other people nor did we hear any noise from the road. We were able to park right outside the door. Real close to Capitol Reef National Park. Would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin. It had everything we could have wanted in it to make our stay comfortable. It was extremely clean . The view from our cabin was amazing. Loved the porch with table and chairs. There was also a picnic table . The office staff was very friendly. A restaurant was also on the property which made it very convenient. We definitely recommend it!

It had a "sweet sprayed" smell I couldn't get rid of even with all the windows and doors open all night. I guess it was supposed to freshen things up but it made me nauseous. The smell was so strong it kept waking me up. I wondered if it was there to cover up the smell of vomit from a previous tenant. The heating unit is right above the head of the bed. Whenever it came on, a bright light on the front of it lit up the whole area below it, and woke me up, so I had to turn it off to sleep. I will never stay here again.

Very nice cabin. Nice views. Clean. Only a few gripes though. That mattress, although comfortable, was squeaky as heck. Don't know if the box springs are bad, but definitely needs looked into. And the aircon unit. Really never worked real well. Room temp was just OK. But seemed the same regardless of the temp setting. Actually felt warmer when set at 68 then at 72. Would have given 5 stars if not for these two minor issues

Most of the property is dated but the cabins seem pretty new. Cabin was great and very clean. A little too much room deodorizing spray used before we arrived though and we could t get it all aired out. Layout of cabins are great. Bed was great! Lots of food choices but we cooked at the cabin and ate on the deck with a great view. Overall experience was great and we would stay here again for sure.

The motel room (a double) that we stayed in was beautifully decorated but about the size of a postage stamp! Painfully small. We had to leave and open our suitcases on the floor just inside the door as there was NO WHERE ELSE to put them besides on the beds. I loved the room except for the small size.If you have a few extra bucks to spare, rent one of their cabins. The attached restaurant was lovely and very professional with the decor, service, and food. Menu had lots of choices, including vegetarian items. I had Mahi Mahi which was a bit overcooked but still good. My husband had the spare ribs with baked beans (yummy!) and fries. He couldn't eat it all! Of course, it was expensive but not outlandishly so. I will stay there again if I'm ever in the area. In a cabin!

Front desk people, both of them, seemed preccupied and rushed. Neither was very accommodating. Must BYO breakfast food, because morning offerings in office area are not intended to be even “continental” . No plates or knives to cut an apple. Really just grab and go. Our room itself (“Panoramic”) was fine.

The hotel was very nice the restaurant was very nice but the owner is a complete jerk. We wanted to sit out on the patio of the restaurant and he absolutely refused to allow it. The patio was open entry was open, offered to purchase a drink inside and sit out. The owner replied you have to have a meal to be here. I replied I would buy a meal and a drink and sit on the patio. He said you're not allowed on the open patio. Again if not for the owner the place would be a nice place. I also feel he doesn't take care of his employees because he was completely understand.

Paid 400 dollars for 4 nights. 100 dollar extra pet fee for each night. 800 total. The inn had a power outage for the unforeseeable future and told me we could come back on the 3rd and stay for 3 nights at no extra cost as they couldnt process a refund with the power off. Seemed like a nice easy switch so we headed over to our other hotel near bryce canyon. Came back on the 3rd and charged me an extra 185 dollars. Why? Said we still had dues? So ended up paying 950 dollars to stay 3 nights. Terrible. Actually terrible service. Restaurant had terrible food. Will never stay here again and will not use expedia again as they wouldnt allow a refund or change in dates either. Would not recommend to stay here ever.

I had a concern about double payment but in the end I was mistaken and apologized. When I asked about it, the front desk became very rude. I’ve never encountered this. The room was dirty, in need of repair and no microwave, fridge for our insulin, no coffee, no clock, but an envelope asking for tips. We’ve been now travelling for a week and this is the most we have paid for the worst place.

Rim rock cabin lovely balcony to watch sunset/sunrise, comfortable modern cabin. Nice on site pair of restaurants - Sit down, and also patio with beer and pizza excellent location for utah road trip, halfway between moab/arches/canyonlands, and bryce canyon with capitol reef on doorstep and 2 miles from start of all american scenic highway 12

The hotel sits right out of Capitol Reef National Park. Which is very convenient after a long day and also convenient if you want to drive pack in for sunset. The rooms were fine. What you would except for the price. And our room was clean and surrounding area very quiet

We were staying here for access to Capitol Reef NP. We also visited The Petrified Forest in Escalante SP and Goblin Valley SP. The room was very clean. The restaurant on site was excellent. As was the Patio restaurant. It has pizza and other selections. We would stay here again on another trip.

Huge room in an extraordinary environment. The location is just perfect. Close to Capitol Reef NP and between the mountains on each side. The room itself was above the patio restaurant, but it closes at 9 PM. We didn’t hear anything as we were away eating at the other restaurant in the main building which I definitely recommend. Nice food and friendly service for very reasonable prices! The room was very big and simple, but it had a cosy vibe. The best thing about the room was the view on the mountains of capitol reef. And during the evening/night we even saw the Milky Way from our room. It was a wonderful stay!

Paid 400 dollars for 4 nights. 100 dollar extra pet fee for each night. 800 total. The inn had a power outage for the unforeseeable future and told me we could come back on the 3rd and stay for 3 nights at no extra cost as they couldnt process a refund with the power off. Seemed like a nice easy switch so we headed over to our other hotel near bryce canyon. Came back on the 3rd and charged me an extra 185 dollars. Why? Said we still had dues?
