I read the reviews prior to booking and disagree with most. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with excellent water pressure. We enjoyed the pool during our three day stay. The property is dated but I could tell they were working on improving cleanliness. The staff that I interacted with were all courteous and friendly (except for the office staff at check-in). I would definitely book this property again.

Purposely booked this hotel as it had a pool. Pool shut and message from hotel was nothing we can do about it. This might not seam like a show stopper. After 8 hours on the bikes it was important. Emptied room and booked elsewhere. Last studio 6 I’m booking in the states

Friendly reception. Nice to have the microwave and mini fridge. Appreciated having the laundry available. The room was quite nice. The parking lot and exterior could use a little work but for the price it's fine.

Would not recommend staying here if you have a trailer because every entrance is at a steep angle so you will scrape. But check in was easy. The room was adorable. We got a kitchenette room. Pretty clean and comfy bed. And loved that Applebees was right across the street.

This is a motel 6 with a face lift. The room is updated and clean. The bathroom is not and the shower was not great. The mattresses were new and the bedding was clean minus a stain on the top blanket. We stayed near the stairs and it was so noisy all night. Staff was okay. Someone asked us for money outside the office doors. Not great people wandering outside but it is near gas food amd the interstate.

The woman who checked us in (I don't remember her name, but she has opals on her chest) was absolutely fabulous - super considerate, super friendly, just a joy to interact with. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean enough. Laundry was $2 wash and $2 dry, laundry room was nice enough but has no folding area. One of the morning staff struck me as a bit rude, but hey, maybe mornings at a hotel suck, Idk, I've never worked at a hotel. No breakfast, but a kitchenette in the room with a full size refrigerator, a coffeemaker, a toaster and a microwave, and there's also a Starbucks literally across the street. Pool was nice. Dog run is very small, but it's great that it exists at all. Overall a very good experience. Would stay again.

The Studio 6 Motel is pet friendly & affordable. They have a pet bathroom to avoid unsanitary dog pee & poop around the property. That pet bathroom area is separate from the grilling area for food cooking & socializing. The Motel 6 nearby has a multiuse playground for children, cooking area & dog bathroom that is gross & unsanitary. They recently hired new housekeeping staff in training, when we arrived to our reservation there was poop on the floor in our first room. The front desk upgraded our stay at no additional charge & our housekeeper Lacy is an efficient cleaner that is friendly with my cat LeeLoo. We appreciate the support provided by Studio 6 Motel in Grand Junction during our stay here. I would like to mention the excellent support from Sarah, the general manager & Jessica at the front desk. A suggestion for the Studio 6 Motel is to use the area in front of the south side (double queen beds) as a small dog play area.

While the towels and linens had been washed, they were stained and maybe should have been retired. The floor etc. was clean, but the headboard area was pretty dirty. There was a fair bit of noise from the second floor (just someone walking around, so the walls are thin), and I can see if you were not staying in the front part of the property, you might not feel safe. The coffee pot had not been cleaned (the used coffee pack was still inside). The room seemed clean but smaller cleaning details were overlooked.

Frustrating that when we looked, Studio 6 was about $100 and the next most expensive was $300. But that may have been because of the peach festival. The floor was gross, with visible crud in corners and edges. Everything felt a little sticky. Blobs of very visible toothpaste spit on the faucet. Only one hook to hang up towels. Sheets looked clean, but I looked for signs of bed bugs and saw dried drink (hopefully) under the corner of the mattress. I didn't want to look more. We played the "hot lava" game to never touch the floor, or anything really. No frills place, but when it is visibly dirty in almost all areas, you can't be comfortable putting anything down. Internet didn't work.

We have been traveling for 4 days and this is the first motel that we have had a problem with. My fitted sheet was so filthy and stained that I had to strip my bed, get dressed to take it down to the office so I could get a clean one and remake the bed myself. In the morning I was making coffee and the countertop under the basket was filthy (see photo). My sister’s bed slid to one side and we found some filth at the headboard. When I pay for a motel room, the absolute minimum I expect is cleanliness. The only good thing at this place was a young woman at the front desk named Jessica. She was doing her best in an awful place.

Check in was easy, all were kind. The room upon arrival was very nice, but sadly the floors were very dirty and the fitted sheet had weird brown stains on it. I found a cleaning person, and while she got me a clean fitted sheet, I borrowed her spray and etc to clean the floors.

Shower hot/cold faucets were reversed. Room was small but well equipped. Coffee was weak. Awesome fridge/separate freezer. No actual tractor parking. A bit noisy with road noise. A/c fan noise helped. Needs separate light switches for bathroom areas.

This had been a different hotel that was purchased and very well refurbished. The room was excellent in all ways--clean, modern, amenities. The ONLY criticism was the walls are incredibly thin, so it's quite noisy from adjoining rooms, the rooms above, and the parking lot. Wear earplugs and you'll be fine! Would stay here again.

This is a remodeled Motel 6 and it was definitely better than the Motel 6's I have stayed at. Walls are kind of thin but overall it was good. I would stay there again. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was very much expecting a Motel 6 experience ( bare bones). This was not at all what this hotel was. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful despite our late check in time. The room was newly renovated and had a full fridge, mini dining area, and plentiful storage. The room is a bit tiny but spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized. The bed was very comfortable. What more could you ask for? Plus the price was super reasonable. I would stay here again without hesitation if I find myself traveling through Grand Junction in the future.

Usually five stars here as it's a great little hotel for a trip and close to airport and grocery stores. Check in girl was super unfriendly (maybe having a bad day as I've had her before and always been nice) had to call front desk very late due to drunken guy in room next door screaming and punching the wall, took dog out into dog park and stepped in one of dozens of dog poo. It's always been great.before so will give the benefit of the doubt that they were having a bad day
Usually five stars here as it's a great little hotel for a trip and close to airport and grocery stores. Check in girl was super unfriendly (maybe having a bad day as I've had her before and always been nice) had to call front desk very late due to drunken guy in room next door screaming and punching the wall, took dog out into dog park and stepped in one of dozens of dog poo. It's always been great.before so will give the benefit of the doubt that they were having a bad day

I was called at 4:24 pm (I had just arrived in Grand Junction from a 5 hour drive) the day I was to check in by a not so nice lady at Studio 6. She rudely told me that my stay was canceled & I was banned from the hotel. The reason is that I received a complaint for yelling at my last visit. I did have a 1.5 minute conversation where I did yell at my ex husband on the phone in my room. This was the 1st I heard of being banned (I have a witness & proof of the call I was on). How incredibly unprofessional to ban me & call 15 minutes prior to me checking in. It was parents weekend at MESA, the only room my daughter & I found was in Rifle, an hour away.

Front desk lady was rude inconsiderate..my husband black and white..We lost our car so all our belongings was in 204 my husband called ask for another room one was available I called she stated their wasn't one...never again will I stay or will I recommend recommend anyone to stay their.. never gave me my discount for traveling nurse rude very....no wonder drug's and homeless stay...

I didn't have a pleasant stay here at all. I was kept awake for two days out of the five days I stayed here. I let the front desk know the noise continued they told me they didn't speak English. I also was never asked if I needed my room cleaned or any clean towels,etc.. Today I asked if I could have my room cleaned they said I had to tell them with a 24 hour notice. I would like a Manager to contact me. This is ridiculous to not be able to have your room cleaned. I also put my trash outside this afternoon it's 9:30 at night my trash is still outside. This is unacceptable and unprofessional . I would not recommend.I was not told upon check in about needing to give them a 24 hour notice about having my room cleaned. I took pictures of my trash still outside my door but I can't post it.

Check in was ok....wifi very weak. Could not make shower work so got dressed without showering. No water for bath either. Staff clerk said it was our fault for not pulling hard enough on the tap...I pulled hard. No refund or adjustment in price as we had slept in the bed, and had booked on line. Will never use this hotel chain again....do not stay here.

I didn’t feel totally safe at this property but the inside of the room was very well-appointed and clean ~ I was pleasantly surprised. I’m traveling with my 2 dogs and the bottom floor and dog area they provide was why I chose this property ~ that was a nice amenity.

This is a motel 6 with a face lift. The room is updated and clean. The bathroom is not and the shower was not great. The mattresses were new and the bedding was clean minus a stain on the top blanket. We stayed near the stairs and it was so noisy all night. Staff was okay. Someone asked us for money outside the office doors. Not great people wandering outside but it is near gas food amd the interstate.

When we booked this hotel about 1 year ago, it said there was free continental breakfast and we didn’t have that. Also when my daughter took a shower she found a clump of hair in the shower drain. The shower drain did not drain and I was standing in ankle deep water. Workers were not friendly. There was a lot of loitering of employees and long term residents. No fish in the half empty aquarium. It was a very disappointing stay. The front desk worker told me she was going to check about compensation for the hair in the shower drain but I didn’t hear anything back from her no didn’t get a credit back. The pictures from the reservation site did NOT look remotely close the the actual rooms!

Listing says breakfast included but that is false. It's an extended stay without comfortable lobby or hallways; your room opens to the parking lot. Many cars in the lot with broken windows, no glass around so it probably didn't happen there but still a little unnerving. We could hear the room above us stomping around very loudly.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the showers were hot, the AC was cold, the bed was comfy, and the room was clean. As we had an extended stay to visit a sick family member, we really appreciated having a larger fridge with a separate freezer. We were pleasantly surprised by the room being stocked with ice cube trays, a cutting board, a colander, and dish soap with a sponge. We liked that there was non-slip mat in the shower/tub. Although we didn’t use it, there was also an ironing board and iron. We were able to walk to Starbucks and Denny’s (there’s also an Applebees right across the street), and a grocery store is easily accessible, less than a half a mile away. We put a sticky note on our door, requesting not to be disturbed, which was respected. We ordered a package from Amazon, specifying our room number for delivery, but it was dropped off to the front desk, who called to let us know they had it. The only things missing were a winning lottery ticket and a hair dryer (but I’ve been wanting to get a new one, so it gave me a good excuse to buy one).

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated the rooms were for the great price I received. The area has many restaurants near by and the facility was well-maintained. The check-in was very quick, and the clerk was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to travelers.

Upon entry, the lady at the desk was incredibly rude and acted like I was interrupting her. I had just walked in and said, I’m here to check in. I know I should lower my expectations because it’s a made over Motel 6. It’s now a Studio 6 which makes sense- I guess they have a lot of long term residents that aren’t accustomed to a certain level of hospitality. The only saving grace was the water pressure- it washed off the layers of dirt from hiking Arches and when I turned around, I about lost a nipple the pressure was so strong. So just be careful facing the shower head!

My room has everything! Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker! Comfy bed and plenty of space! I will stay here again when visiting Grand Junction! Close to a few restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores! Friendly staff!
