We needed to find an affordable, last minute place to stay near St. Charles Ave. and this fit the bill. It’s mainly a hostel with bunk beds and shared bathrooms, but we stayed at the top of the building in a private room with a private bathroom. Things to know…it’s 3 floors up with stairs only. The room had plenty of space, but the bathroom had a low ceiling. My 6’5” husband was able to stand up fully in the shower but it was close. Even with lots of people staying in the hostel, everyone was nice and we didn’t hear any noise in our top floor room. We arrived after the 6pm check in, but we received an email with how to get in, so that was all easy. Parking was easy and right next to the building on the street. Finally, bring your own hair conditioner since they only had shampoo, and plan on stripping your bedding and bring that with your towels downstairs when you leave.

Room was in good condition but did not have lockers inside the room. There were just a handful out in the hall that would cover maybe 1 in 10 guests. Staff and cleaners were nice, but the other guests were inconsiderate. Understandable for a hostel, but I think staff could have gone over best practices when folks arrived.
