Stayed for two nights for business. The hotel is very clean, with excellent facilities onsite. The gym is shared with the apartment across the driveway and hotel staff have to escort you over, but it's one of the best hotel gyms I've ever trained in (and I've trained in a lot!). It's just across the road from Wholefoods, and there's a cafe that does excellent coffee about 50 m walk. Easy walk to Capitol Hill. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was amazing staff was super friendly. Elevators where a bot touch and go for us not always wanting to read our key. The 3rd party parking gentleman that was there this weekend needs to not just start on people when they have no idea where they need to go and are just trying to be out of the way.

Right across the street from Whole Foods, so you can get a healthy meal and get any supplies you need. A nice rooftop restaurant with a good view, and a short walk to the metro. Dog park across the street, but there is a tent city under the overpass. Elevators were irritating because you had to use your key before it would take you anywhere, and it didn't always work, so we got stuck going to floors we didn't want. No place to put your clothes in the rooms. Rooms were clean and updated. Glass door to the bathroom was hard to control. Staff is nice. Valet parking is your only option, you cannot park yourself. Overall would recommend.

This hotel is amazing with great front desk service and housekeeping services. It's clean, beautiful, reasonably priced, and in a wonderful location. HOWEVER. The downstairs bar, it's manager and bartenders specifically, are absolutely horrendous. They will give you basically no service, provide inaccurate bills, verbally berate you, and basically give you the worst experience you've ever had in your life. Save your time, money, and everything else and go anywhere else for drinks. Do not give them the opportunity to disrespect you and try to pull fast ones and scream at you. They do not accurately represent this hotel so do not let them give you the disrespect and absolutely abhorrent experience that they gave us.

Tremaine that check us in was a sweetheart and even recommended us a great restaurant within walking distance since they had a minor fire in the hotel restaurant. His customer service was great. Everything was lovely. Will definitely be back.

The hotel itself: 5/5. Everything was clean, comfortable, and updated. The location is perfect, only a moderate walk to Navy yard in one direction and capitol hill in the other direction. Fairly close to two different metro lines. Super convenient for restaurants and getting around town. The rooftop bar: 2/5 It has absolutely gorgeous views, and the drinks are not bad but insanely expensive. We spent an average of $25-30 PER DRINK and the service was absolutely terrible. We waited for almost an hour to order a second round of drinks before getting up and ordering it from the bar ourselves. We then waited another 45 minutes for the check, but it never came. We saw our server standing and talking with the other servers this whole time, and when we finally walked over to her to ask for the check, she said "Oh, y'all are still here?" We could have drank as much as we wanted and ditched and she never would have known. She never started a tab! It made for a pretty frustrating night.

I really enjoyed my stay at the AC hotel. It was very clean and in a very walkable area. The only thing I did not like was that my shower had very low water pressure so showers were not enjoyable. Despite that, I would stay again.

Room was damp and floor always felt wet and a bit slick. Medication pills crumbled from moisture in room. Clothes felt damp as well from being in room. Not enough towels upon arrival, short staff wanted us to go get…needed hangers only 2 in room. We have stayed a few times before when visiting but this time was not up to our standards at all! Very disappointed with our stay. Upon check out we mentioned to desk clerk said would mention to a manager. Not sure if this happened.

The room was clean and is decorated on a modern style. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to get the vehicle so we had to plan ahead. It was confusing to use the shower. It would have been helpful to have directions.Also, some paper products were not recyclable. More trash bins would have been helpful in the king size room.

The parking at this hotel is a little pricey so we chose not to park there. The room was quite drafty but that's just me. Our room was right next to 695 so a lot of traffic noise. In addition, they have a rooftop bar which gets a lot of visitors so, this location is not quiet. Not a positive note, Whole Foods is right across the way for coffee, etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at the AC hotel. It was very clean and in a very walkable area. The only thing I did not like was that my shower had very low water pressure so showers were not enjoyable. Despite that, I would stay again.

I was disappointed by my stay at the AC Marriot. The rooms had 2 towels for 4 people and after the room was cleaned they left one new towel. Also the room had a glass barn door on the bathroom which does not create any sound barrier. It sounds as if there was no door on the bathroom. Our room had 2 breakfasts included with our stay and when we had breakfast on the rooftop restaurant (one of the only positive experiences in the trip) we were told the breakfast would be subtracted from the bill; it was not. I had to go and speak to the front desk to adjust the bill. It felt so many issues kept occurring and despite it being walkable to lots of areas, I would not recommend it as a hotel.

Hotel was very clean, staff was outstanding very very friendly. Very located very central to the National Stadium, restaurants, bars and walking to the Capital, all within walking distant. Would recommend this hotel and will be staying there again. Tiffany at the front desk and Devon in the bar were TERRIFIC!!! Very friendly and outgoing!!

No water, no pressure, no hot water. Fire alarm late at night…couldn’t get elevators back up and running no explanation as to if there was a safety concern. Had to walk up 10 flight of stairs back to room. WORST-3:45am someone opens room door throws a bag in! Room given to someone else while I was still staying in it!

This is my second time staying. I love it! The rooms are clean and up to date. The staff were extremely nice. The valet was very helpful. I plan to stay here every time I visit DC. I have recommended to family and friends.

Picked this hotel because location, however I am pleased with the breakfast and quality of the dinner, unfortunately the waitress was distracted and I kept asking other waiters for service and they were really kind and effective. The garage fee is excessive, but overall had a good stay.

The hotel was an easy walk to the Capital. The restaurant was great for low-carb offerings at the breakfast buffet, which included charcuterie, even cornichons and mustard! Whole Foods across the street was a plus. Staff were warm and helpful.

We had an overnight stay! Room was comfortable, clean! The staff was friendly and accommodating! The bartenders at Smoke&Mirrors were friendly, engaging fun conversation. In the DC area, we would stay again. Only flaw for us is the breakfast is very limited. We went elsewhere for breakfast.

The hotel was just okay. Check in was seamless. The room was clean and comfortable. I would not pay for breakfast. Not worth it. You could get a far better breakfast within a 5 min walk in any direction for cheaper or the same price. Did not have enough towels but that was easily rectified. Tried eating at the rooftop lounge they were booked up and could not accommodate hotel guest that particular night. It also did not seem like a family atmosphere at night. Overall okay. Would not return. We stay a Marriot hotels quite often this one was pretty much a miss. Also parking states $57 but then there is a $10 parking tax. Just FYI.
