Motel 6-Ogden, UT - 21st Street

sayed they had a out door pool but did not have a working pool was coved and not used for years it looked like they sayed no smoking i it smelled so bad of cigarettes smoke in side the rooms and out cigarettes smoldering on my the ground we did not stay we left management did not care

Great motel for the price. Security lock was not working. I told management and they said they would fix it. Friendly customer service

Plenty of parking, even for hotshots and semi trucks. Super funny and friendly staff. They care about the safety of your vehicles and do everything they can to meet your needs. Very clean rooms, would stay again.

Two star hotel, just off the highway by a truck stop, Denny’s and a bar. A little noisy with the diesel trucks idling all night. Room was ok, no amenities..

We got a 2-queen non-smoking room but when we opened the door we could smell cigarette smoke. There was an ink stain on one of the comforters. The AC is old and points directly at one of the beds and does not give an option to turn the vent away. The bathroom floor looked grimy, and there were only enough towels for one person. The elevator is out of commission, and the concrete pathing is worn also the stairs were very dark in the daytime. Lots of Diesel trucks parked behind the motel so beware of truck noise.

The area is a great location. But the check in guy has poor customer service. The room was big but only bare basics. The matress is flat. the pillows flat. The sheets stained. Tje floor had lots of little trash. The pool not on. The laundry room was a mess. Check out again no customer service. No thank you nothing

Advertised fridge and microwave.....was there 4 nights only housekeeping service was a towel a day and it was dirty.....no trash out Parking lot is terrible....fell broke arm

Rooms are ok, not all rooms are provided with microwave and fridge. Price is more for what is provided. Needs renovation.

The room was so dirty. Dirt on the walls, floor, doors. Not enough towels or toilet paper. The sheets still had hair in them. The front office girl was nice, but wouldn’t stay again.

This hotel does seem pretty sketch upon first glance, there are signs everywhere to make sure to lock your cars and doors, there was a large parking lot on the rear side of the building where there were a lot of semi trucks parked overnight so for someone like me who watches maybe a little too much true crime, I was on edge. But the room was newly renovated and clean. Staying in March 2025 they had a sign out front saying “just reopened” so I think they just finished some renovations and it shows. The bed was a bit stiff, but I didn’t wake up with any pain. And I was checking out early (before 5am) and couldn’t find anyone at the front desk, which is understandable, but it would be nice if they had a locked key card drop box. I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving it on the counter seeing as anyone could swipe it and get into the room and I would have been charged for any damage they would have done. So I waited. I came back an hour later and was able to check out. So you know, you get what you pay for, and overall, I think this was a pretty ok stay for the price.

The floors where not cleaned, there was human and dog hair in the beds and shower. We also found that there was a large crack in the front door, which explains the huge cockroach we found in our room.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming however the bedroom was dirty. Bed had hair on the pillows and the bedsheets. Dusty and lint on the baseboards. Walls with handprints. Requested a different room and was given one with stains on the linen but at least they were clean

I have to admit the room was as expected considering the price was so cheap but one could hope for a slightly better accommodations. I couldn't tell if the sheets were dirty or just stained. There were weird tar stains across the floor. The toilet moved when you sat down. The lid was left open as if some guy had just urinated in it. Before I checked in. There was only one towel in a double queen room. When I went upstairs the lights in the stairway were out. There were greasy fingerprints on the walls. Pros, at least the AC unit works. However, who knows when somebody had cleaned the filters last.

Large room, clean, needed some maintenance, bathroom vanity door only had 1 attached hinge. Outside varied, they tried to keep it clean but right next to a bar. There were cans and broken glass bottles. The last night smelled pot.

Room had been smoked in with burn holes on the bed covers. Refrigerator leaked water all over the floor. There were holes in the walls but the worst of it was the bathroom cleanliness. There was urine all around the toilet and it just stunk. We would have left but it was late and we were leaving very early in the morning.

I arrived, checked in, and left to visit with friends so didn’t get back to hotel until late. First the tv didn’t work so I tried calling the front desk but the phone didn’t work. So I called using my cell phone and thought someone was coming to fix the tv in 10 minutes but no one came. Then I realized the AC wasn’t working properly so the room was very hot, but I was already for bed and didn’t want to go through the hassle of getting dressed and moving to another room that might be exactly the same.

I've stayed at many Motel 6's since 1972. They advertise a "clean, comfortable room." The one here in West Point (Ogden 21st St & I-15) delivered. Well, it's not a Hilton, so my expectations don't run high. However, I had specifically requested a King ACCESSIBLE Room. My wife is disabled and needs the higher toilet, grab bars, and shower instead of a tub. The only "accessible" aid was a grab bar on the back wall of the bathtub. The Riverdale, UT location was my alternate choice and their pictures of the rooms showed exactly what I needed. This location's pictures were less revealing. I chose this location because it was closer to my relative's house. Next time, I will rely on the reality of the pictures. Food options nearby consist of a Denny's and a McDonalds. Meh! If you know the area and aren't afraid to drive a little, there are other food options within 2-3 miles. One final note -- this location has been remodeled and has nice furnishings, albeit, a plastic molded chair to sit on (just one in the room). The desk was nice for setting up a laptop (in-house wifi was fair), however, when they remodeled, all the electrical outlets were covered up. No place to plug in...unless I use an extension cord and plug it in next to the bathroom sink.

Door cards didn’t work, and we had to have the desk clerk let us back in every time we returned. Shower was great. Try to get a room at the south end to get away from the dozens of idling semis at the north end. Also, dining opportunities within walking distance make it a good spot to stay.

Room was great, wonderful stay, pillows were the only negative

Just had an issue with duck tape on the door lock nob. Other then that it was a good over night stay. Dont care for the slippary beds tried to get in bed and the mattess slids right off.

The room was nice and air conditioner worked well. The light outside could be seen inside and made it seem like the sun was up all night.

Right off interstate very quiet

I was unable to sleep due to the constant fighting of the people in the next room and outside in front of the corridor. I had tried to call the front desk and no one answered. With the fighting I did not feel safe enough to walk to the office without having to have interaction with the parties. I actually had to leave the room early because I could not sleep for a nine hour drive that day. During my checkout I explained to the front office person about the situation and not one word was said.She looked up a name an all she said was "Murphy"

This is a horrible place - they canceled my reservation and didn’t refund the cost and I had to PAY AGAIN for the room. Don’t use they motel

The customer service was amazing, from check in to check out. The lady that checked me in was super super nice and friendly. The gent that checked me out was very nice and brought me my phone charger that I forgot in the room. Will stay here again in the future.

They answered my room the first morning while I was at work went through some of my stuff threw away my medicine and said it was garbage I guess and wouldn't do anything about it said that they had every right to go in even though I'd ask specifically twice on my way out the door to work not to go in no room service I said but still they offer room service but only to pick up my trash and take my dirty towels and leave everything else it was horrible they did it again second day when I was in there the door was locked and they tried to force their way in for 2 minutes while I'm telling them I don't need your service

We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. Check-in was very easy. The motel just remodeled the rooms. The beds were comfortable. It is an older building so if you are on the bottom floor, you will hear creaks and flushing toilet. I am going to stay here every time I come to the SLC area. With the great price of the room. It is cheaper to drive into SLC than stay tana hotel in that area.

I have no complaints about the condition of the property. Room was clean and I didn't see any repair issues. My biggest complaint is the customer service of the night clerk. We came down for a family Christmas party. My daughter ended up getting sick shortly after we arrived. When I went to grab a towel to clean up and help prevent more mess I noticed there was only two towels for four people. I sent my husband to the office to request two more towels and some trash bags. My husband explained to the night clerk that our daughter got sick, and we needed a couple more towels and some trash bags to try and clean up and not leave a mess. The night clerk refused and argued with my husband that we had enough towels. After explaining again the situation he gave my husband some trash bags and one extra towel. The morning manager was apologetic when I told him what happened, unfortunately the damage had been done and we won't be staying there in the future.

Booked a no smoking room and the room I was given smelled strongly of smoke and there were burn holes in the bedding and in the floor. The fridge was fully iced over and the door didn’t close. I did not end up staying here because they had no other rooms available but also would not give me a refund for the room. The staff was very short with me and told me to go stay somewhere else.

The motel puts Expedia customers in the back of the building, right next to a big truck stop where refrigerator trucks run their coolers all night long. Their noise goes right through ear plugs.

Room was clean and property was in good shape. Neighborhood seamed a bit seedy (next to a truck stop). No big complaints for my one night stay.

It's nice for the price close to the freeway but no public transportation not much around as far as food they've got a Denny's in the McDonald's pretty much in the same parking lot but other than that not much to offer

The people working here are very nice. It is a great motel to stop at if you need a quick night’s sleep and be back on I-15. Very quiet the past two times I have stayed.

Close to fuel and food

It's fine if you aren't looking for a relaxing comfortable stay. It is next to very busy areas and a stop for truckers. Old design and always had outside lights that shades couldn't remove.

It is very near the freeway, near a nice family restaurant, near a Walmart store, nice hiking area, a Latter-day Saint temple, etc., and yet relatively low cost.

Wanted a place to rest on drive from Boise to Grand Junction. The motel was super easy access from I15 and right by a McD's and Denny's. I was given the ADA room. It was completely remodeled and looked great. Very nice. The exterior of the motel had been painted and clearly rooms were being renovated. Even though the motel is near the freeway, with the room fan on, it was quite restful.

Well, my husband and I both travel with our job. He is a long distance truck driver and I am a contract nurse so I’m all over the place as is he… So we were fortunate I was in Salt Lake City and he was in Ogden so I went to Ogden to hang out with him. We hadn’t seen each other in a year, this hotel was right besides the truck stop and his truck was closed so that’s why we stayed in Ogden at this particular hotel. It’s not the Ritz, but it was comfortable and pleasant. Not too much noise at all even though we were just off the highway. There were a few restaurants close, but we decided to order in. All in all, it was a pleasant visit. Nice to see my husband after one year away.
