Lovely hotel in a unique space. Rooms are lovely and the all the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice common space to sit other than your room. Restaurants and bar are charming and yummy. Easy walking to Frenchman street. Great location. Book it!!

The entire staff made you feel right at home. They made every accomodation they could to make your stay as nice as possible. The on premise cafe/restaurant was excellant. We ate dinner and breeakfast there. Their coffee was also very good. Highly reccommend staying here. We paid for the on-premise parking, which is well worth the money. Other parking on the street is very tough to come by but you cqn find it.

Beautifully decorated property with interesting details and history. Friendly staff. The Elysian Bar and Who Dat Cafe are both delicious and less than a block away. Parking onsite was very convenient. Walkable to Frenchman Street and the French Quarter.

Unique and beautiful property that lets you escape the cookie cutter hotel experience. Cozy, elegant, historical and whimsical with an incredible attention to detail. The staff were so kind and professional. My favorite hotel experience in America. You should absolutely eat at the Elysian Fields too—delicious food and drinks in lovely rooms.

Unique rooms, ours was a gorgeous loft. There was an honor bar on our floor. My VIP access granted me free parking. Neat bar on site. Would have liked to have had time to check out the community room. I heard the yoga is great! Next time!

Absolutely gorgeous and UNIQUE! The staff was beyond courteous and took great care of us. We weren’t huge fans of the pillows or the extra charges for parking, but overall we really loved our stay & especially the friendly staff.

We had booked a split-level loft hotel room (bed upstairs and bathroom downstairs) on the 4th floor by mistake. The woman at the front desk kindly showed us three additional rooms to choose from that were not split-level. We were so happy with our room that we decided to extend our stay another night. High ceiling, comfortable bed, in-room thermostat, and nice shower. We did the free 20 minute audio tour of the hotel in which former students and employees of the Peter and Paul catholic church, convent, rectory and school shared their memories of the place before it became a hotel. It's about a 1/2 mile walk through the quiet neighborhood to the French Market. Gated parking is available on the property and only costs about $15 a day with unlimited exit and return privileges.

A beautiful and historic spot, the Hotel Peter and Paul delivers charm and quiet. The bar and restaurant provide delicious offerings, but are not open late. If you want music and midnight eats, Frenchmen Street is just a few blocks away. Be sure to open the little yellow book for recommendations and information about one of the USA’s best cities. Bring a power strip for easier charging of your devices. That said, I really can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

I checked out this hotel a few years ago and kept it in mind. Beautiful and historical. The staff is so nice and the restaurant is top notch. Close to Frenchman St. and the French Quarter while feeling and sounding (quiet) worlds away.

Clean, comfortable upscale boutique hotel with a very good bar and restaurant. Not inexpensive but well worth it. Shower in our room was one of the very best I have ever used. Huge, clean, with high pressure hot water, I didn\'t want to leave the shower! We walked all over New Orleans from this hotel even though it is not downtown. We enjoy walking and it was a safe area. We will return, the Peter and Paul felt like a real "find".

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and with great style. The hotel was calm, and just the right size, quite a few rooms, but spread over a few floors, and three historic buildings. The hotel was just changing their computer system, and seemed to be the cause of any confusion.

Needed a place to sleep for the night and found this hotel. Got the little room with the bunk bed in it. Perfect size for me and my trip and a surprisingly large bathroom! Room is cutely decorated. Hotel staff was incredibly polite and helpful.

A genuinely great hotel with beautiful and clean buildings, superlative staff (especially the front desk staff, especially Menard). It seems like every year New Orleans seems to decay a little more, with a lack of pride for the city by its residents and visitors. It’s a shame that such a treasure keeps getting dirtier every year. But Hotel Peter and Paul is, in my opinion, the best small hotel in the city.

The lighting in the room and bathroom wasn’t great and I thought the mattress/bed wasn’t comfortable either BUT this hotel is beautiful and has so many nice details that I will probably come back. Location is fantastic! Quick walk to everywhere in the Quarter, easy walk home after a night out on Frenchman, close to stores and cute shops in the Bywater. I don’t wanna stay around Canal ever again;) Loved it here!

Oh my god we loved this place! Staff were amazing, space was clean and well kept, the custom soap in the bathrooms we were so obsessed with - we took like 3 showers a day just to keep that scent on us at all times! That shower as well is incredible. I'm obsessed and would return in a heartbeat. We stayed in the schoolhouse loft and the only thing I would change was that you can't see the TV from bed in that room. Otherwise, loved it all. It is not too far from tons of great spots to dine and from the French Quarter too. Love love love!

This former convent and school is designed beautifully. But a few adjustments would make it perfect like moving the bed in the loft room so that it clears the stairs. (The way it's set up now, it's easy to hit your head on the stairs when you're getting out of the downstairs bed. Also, the restaurant didn't offer any sugar substitutes like stevia or sweet n low which is surprising in an area where diabetes is an issue. Other than that, the staff was fantastic, helpful and very acommadating!

The mattress needs to be replaced. Did not get any sleep. Bathroom is gorgeous. Room needs more seating. Staff was great, but we were told our luggage would be in the room, and it was not. Bar and bartenders were great. Overall beautiful property.

We have stayed here many times. We prefer being in the schoolhouse vs the rectory. Steps in the rectory are really a steep long climb. Storage/closet space was minimal at best. We will be back, just not in the rectory.

Liked my wholle experience except for 2 of the front desk persons. Supposedly the managers. Short, curt ,condescending attitudes. The maintenance personel were very courteous. The young man, , Kentrick, I think was his name, was over and above great in every way. I had TV pro lema,the sassy front desk person jnsisted my TV was fixes. In fact infact the TV was on however , needed asecond remote to operate HDMI, pption. .Room # 105 Sept.28 & 29, 2024

I always feel at home at Hotel Peter and Paul. The staff is helpful and friendly always. Diana and Brandon both made sure I was supported as I packed up after a week in my room. I love the stage area with the radio on a local station, it dead perfect for relaxing a bit and feeling both inside and available for encounters with others. I just really love your hotel! Very unique hotel. Staff friendly and accommodating. Onsite parking at a reasonable rate is like finding a unicorn in NO. Very much appreciated. Close enough to attractions of FQ, FM, Frenchman St, etc to walk. Not the best neighborhood and I wouldn’t suggest being out alone after sundown but we had no issues on our walkabouts during the day. Go and enjoy.

I didn't receive the vip access, they said at the desk that they weren't notified by Expedia so all their rooms were full. The overall experience was amazing anyhow! The room was spacious and beautiful, nice hot shower, no sound from above. The whole hotel looks amazing and the staff as great, helpful and welcoming. The only thing i would say is that the Elysium bar doenst have lots of choices.

Such a cool hotel! Loved the decor and the service was wonderful! It was just close enough to Frenchmen Street to walk to many of the venues with live music, and from there also a short walk to the French Quarter, but delightfully out of the way enough to feel relaxed and venture out to other parts of the city. Also, the restaurant and bar that are part of the hotel are excellent!

Beautiful little jewel of a hotel in the artsy Marigny. Cosy yet elegant rooms, gorgeously appointed, delicious lotion and body wash in the bathrooms. The Restaurant is lovely, serving lovely cocktails (try the hot olives!) wonderful service by Secret, who together with Darius, made our stay. Highly recommend
