5am wake up cannot come soon enough. Do not stay here. This hotel is in disrepair. Stain on couch. Ice maker not working. Sheets have a stain on one of the beds. Will not be using that bed. Shower doesn’t drain properly so water builds up in tub. So we won’t use the shower. Closet smells horrible. Someone propped open the back door with a rock. We removed it and reported it to the front desk. They said it was housekeeping “not to worry” I am worried because there are lots of empty liquor bottles outside that door and the hotel locks all doors at night but if someone props it open the property is not secure. The front desk did not care. Cannot believe I used hotel.com rewards on this! What a waste. And final straw is that teenagers are running up and down the halls screaming and Slamming doors. Etc. The toilet ran all night. Hotel was reportedly full so unable to get a new room.

Positive: The two rooms we got were extra spacious and quiet. Not so good: The rooms were "dated" -- old carpet, very dimly lit. The ice machine was broken and the complimentary breakfast was below average.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is new but did have signs that maintenance is lacking - air conditioning and toilet not working in the first room (they did immediately relocate us to a room that was fine), one of the elevators was out of service, and the spring on the room door wouldn't automatically close.

The hotel has a nice lobby and dining area. This is the best part of the hotel. The rooms are very plain at best and dated and a little worn. Ice is on 3 and 4 floors with the 3rd being out of order. Parking is congested and fills up quickly. This is in a great location and just needs a little updating and it will be as good as any

MSU cadet summer camp is the reason for our 1 day trip. We chose to stay at the Hyatt. The staff was very friendly and sweet. The breakfast great, and the breakfast lady, Ms. Candy was great nice. She is a blessing. The pool area is spacious amd nice. The carpet smells in the room and in the hallway. The carpet has to go.

Because of the storm, the televisions did not work. Nothing was mentioned at check in. Tried getting tv to work and eventually had to call front desk to find out why. Beyond that, really enjoyed hotel.

There was no AC in the lobby for the three night stay we were there. I was asked if I wanted daily housekeeping when I checked in and I said yes. I did not receive daily housekeeping. I had to go down to the front desk and ask to get housekeeping the next day. Do not charge me full price when I do not receive full service. Never returning.

The bathroom was FILTHY! There is hair in the sink and shower and dried on pee on the toilet. The inside of the drawers are dirty and the hanging closet is musty/moldy. Also, they do not have hypoallergenic pillows. They are all feather. How do you make allowances for those with allergies? The front desk lady on afternoon shift was rude at check in and rude when I asked for a non feather pillow (which they don't have). Bed mattresses are very hard. We won't stay here again.

The inside of the hotel not kept up. Some of the rooms had no door handles on them, or damage to the door. One of our rooms, the lock system would not work. After 2 hours of prying the door open, we finally got inside. Bathroom was disgusting. Mold on the shower head. Tiles and grout stained, not maintained. The faucet in the shower barely attached and loose. Hardly any water coming out of the shower head. The sheets on the bed were dirty, old stains possibly. Would never stay at this hotel chain again! The worst!

We hadn’t stayed at a Hyatt Place for awhile but it was rated highest at this location so we thought we’d give it a try. While the room was quite nice, (but something gross looking splattered on the lamp) the bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom needs repair. The room just looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly.

The room didn’t really seem clean when we got in but we got in late with 3 kids so we didn’t end up changing. The bath mat had mold under it and just generally seemed not clean. The breakfast was subpar for a hotel. The hot food was fine that they cooked but hardly any options outside of that. There were no pancake or waffle makers. The only water available in the entire hotel was from a 3 gallon pitcher at breakfast so you definitely need to buy bottled water from them or Walmart next door if you’re staying more than a night.

Decent hotel. Probably the best in the area. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Priced too high for the area. Rooms clean, but walls and doors are beat up. Bugs in bathroom. Empty soap canisters. Would definitely rate it around 3.5 stars. Decent breakfast. Not as many options as other 4-5 star hotels. Overall a good hotel, just not what I would expect for a Hyatt and the high price. Prices definitely need to come down at least $20 a room a night.

The stand-out thing about this hotel is the room we stayed in. Ours was a double queen which had a couch seating area with a nice desk. The bathroom sink was outside the bathroom and toilet room, making it more accessible if sharing a room. Breakfast was good, with eggs served every morning along with biscuits one day, pancakes another day, and French toast sticks another etc. Protein was sausage (2 mornings) and ham last day. A nice lady named Candy made sure we had what we needed. It was offered at a satisfactory rate. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great staff! Comfortable bed. Only drawback was the tiny space between the shower and sink where the toilet got placed. My husband, a six foot tall man with athletic build, barely fit in the space. Just a poor design. But the staff and location were outstanding!

The A/C did not work. They gave us a fan ( yes - a fan). For a Hyatt- that would have been a first but I guess that may be their new standard to save money on A/C. I hope that does not catch on. The bathroom door would not close properly. Terrible place for that much money. Staff didn’t seem to be bothered.

Room was nice. The bathroom area did not make sense at all to me. Could barely sit in the toilet seat. I'm not heavy set in a muscular guy with a husky build. Room was clean. Just really could not understand the placement of the toilet. Terrible design.

They had a real problem in checking people in after 3 PM. Many people had to wait two hours for the room to be available. Showers floor was moldy and cracked tile. All that said, the rest of room was perfect and the staff was great.

I gave this property 4 stars because it’s just not a 5 star property. It’s not even a 4 star property in many areas. But, it is as nice as it gets in this area. And, the staff were all very attentive and nice. Definitely a good stay for families and business travelers in the area.

My stay at this hotel started out wrong because I made reservations for Saturday instead of Friday, but the front desk staff was so helpful and helped me resolve the issue quickly. The staff at this hotel is amazing, they greeted us with smiles and the hotel and the rooms were so nice and clean. The breakfast was great! Overall this hotel scores an A with me.
