Poor lighting outside sign HOTEL, and name of place: Casa Azul Blu JFK. No microwave, no shade over light fixture near bed, No breakfast, no coffee or tea. Refrigerator wasn’t on or working. The smell of weed in lobby and hallway. Too much for the condition of property for one night. Saturday check in to Sunday. $303.11. I was billed for a Holiday Inn on my payment.

It’s really just a place to sleep. I wondered if they changed the sheets. I had the ick during my stay. The remote didn’t work, the shower needs a place to rest toiletries and a handrail!! The toilet is super low. There are no amenities! The microwave is shared through the entire hotel. Maybe my expectations were set too high.

I stayed for 2 nights and the staff was friendly, the room was as pictured. The ice machine did not work, neither did any of their vending machines. There isn’t any option for food or beverage inside the hotel, so I was very disappointed. I don’t recommend, only if you get a discounted rate of $100 a night, that’s what I value this Hotel at.

During my stay, I found the staff support to be lacking. I called the front desk for help with the TV, and they said they would send someone up. After waiting about 45 minutes with no response, I went down to the front desk again and was told someone would come up shortly. Eventually, someone did come and turned the TV on, but the remote didn’t work. I returned to the front desk to request batteries and was asked to leave the remote there. An hour later, no one had come by, so I went back again and finally received a replacement remote — which also didn’t work because the TV required a Roku remote. In addition, the vending machines in the lobby were poorly stocked, and several were out of order. Overall, the response time and service quality were disappointing and made the stay far less convenient than expected. Needless to say I am definately not returning to this hotel.

My daughter and I did not stay because it was not a non-smoking and the amount of air freshener to mask the smell was to the extreme. Front desk was friendly but it was false advertisement. Elevator wasn’t working. The handle on my room door was falling apart. Shower had rusty stuff around it, blanket was ripped and for the price per night it was too expensive for the location. The parking lot had a sign that read park at your own risk. I could not even get a refund. I would never recommend that Motel to anyone.

DON’T STAY HERE… I’ve never experienced anything like it. I left immediately. I couldn’t get out of that place fast enough. It was filthy. Dirty sheets and pillows. Walls were gross. The smell was horrific. They tried to hide the filth with zero lighting. I ran into a guy in the hall looking for his crack pipe he left in unit 117 that morning. He was moved to unit 114. He must live there. There was even dried blood drops on my pillow. I was taking my daughter to a concert at the UBS Arena. Don’t make the same mistake I made. I had to drive home that night. 4 hour ride! Also… Expedia said they couldn’t help me get my money back. With all the pictures I took of this nasty place they basically said… sorry, wish we could help. I’ll never use Expedia again.

The hotel was terrible. The floors were sticky, the bed linens had cigarette burns on them, the bathroom was dirty and the toilet was unflushed, the room reeked of cigarettes, there were towels with poop lining the hallway of the hotel.

This hotel is mainly used in the adult industry bases of the noise that can out of each room. It’s not a hotel as they claim to be it’s a motel… The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing. Toilet was filthy and the shower stall had a lot of mold.

Sheets and walls were filthy, requested a different room and was given an attitude, told that they’re all like that then proceeded to give us a slightly less dirty sheet, leaving the walls still srtained in a foreign substance. The doors did not lock, nothing about this property is deluxe. later in the night we were greeted with new guests, and infestation of roaches. l

Our room was filthy, dirty sheets, fingerprints all over the mirrors and TV, and the entire property smelled like cigarettes and smoke. Not to mention, the fire alarm had a plastic bag wrapped around it, which makes sense why it smelled the way it did. HORRIBLE experience. Do not recommend.

Beware!!!!!!! The worst hotel I’ve be stayed at in my 50 years on this earth. Totally disgusting conditions . Smelled like someone was chain smoking in there daily, dirty conditions everywhere , brownish/reddish stains on mattress cover, filthy shower , brown towel need towels , I can go on on and on but will just post pictures. Do not stay here !

Area around hotel isn't the safest. Parking lot could feel a lot safer. Booked based on location to UBS and it is close. None of the vending machines worked. Strong smell of incense. Ok for one night for a concert but would not recommend for extended stay or solo female travel. One door lock didn't work so we moved a desk in front.

Can hear people talking in the halls. Weird smell in my room and had multiple door issues. Not only me but my neighbors door broke completely not allowing her to get into her room. The staff didn’t help her at all and I ended up getting into her room from the window outside!!!!! Never again.

Convenient location for quick stay for UBS Concerts. Beds are terribly hard & uncomfortable with flat pillows. Room was clean but cleaner used was overwhelming and smelled strong. No view, room faces parking lot and can hear train running by.

The doors to the room I stayed in was unsafe. I had to force it in so it could close. The bathroom door could not close properly. The bed linen that was grey had bleach marks. I asked them to change it and they said they would have to wash one and give yo me because there were no clean ones available.

Hotel was decent, it was close to Belmont Park where we had concert, there were many other concertgoers staying too. It was clean enough and the staff was nice, but it was very small and tight. For a quick night it was fine. But if you’re planning to go to Belmont Park UPS Arena- it’s not walkable. And after the concert Uber wouldn’t take the short rides because they wouldn’t make enough money so although we were super close, we probably should’ve just drove…. waited over an hour for an Uber. The guy said he only picked us up because he heard her kids in the background and felt bad. So just a heads up if you’re staying here for a concert.

I was staying in the room with my daughter and we asked room service for extra pillows and a comforter and they said that only one was allowed per room and they couldn’t give us extra. We wanted to be more comfortable sharing a bed and having our own covers. For almost 300 a night, we should be able to get extra sheets if we want. Not a great experience.

The description in Expedia is totally misleading. The hotel is terrible. The room was dirty. The door wouldn’t open properly. The staff was rude. Overall a horrible experience. I wasn’t the only one who left and requested a refund. Another family also left the hotel and requested a refund. I contacted Expedia and requested a refund. The Expedia representative advised me to return the key and book in another hotel. I am extremely disappointed with Expedia and the hotel. The information in Expedia is totally misleading. The photos and information don’t present the real situation. The room was disgusting, dirty and unsafe, the door didn’t work properly.

The hotel is nice. The wash clothes need tj be replaced some of them had stains on them . The Indian lady that worked the front desk Friday Dec 13,2024 morning was very friendly and accommodating. The front desk lady that worked Dec 14th that morning around 11am est was not so friendly. She seemed at bit rude but I stayed very kind to her still no matter what . Over all the hotel was pretty good.

I like the place because employees smoking behind the customer sevice area. The hole place smell like weed. I also have a pair of my nike sneekers stolen from the hotel room. I won't refer that hotel to any one of my family or friend. I definitely wont stay there again.

I booked a non smoking room, my receipt proves it. They gave me a smoking room, it smelled so bad it gave me a headache every time i was in the room. They weren't willing to give me a different one, saying they were sold out which it was a lie... The staff is horrible, they dont talk or acknowledge customers, this is an Indian hotel so are the staff. We almost call the police because in a room close by they were having a bad argument, very loud and banging on doors, we couldn't sleep that night. It was a really bad experience considering the property was decent. The only good thing was the parking on site included, but I definitely wouldn't recommend to stay at vasa azul.

Location was pretty decent. It's on a street with lots of food options; American, Chinese, Latina, Haitian are some examples of the types of food you'll find all in within walking distance. The room has a fridge, no microwave but there is one near the lobby and a vending machine. The shower head is super nice but the tile looks dirty but could be scuff marks and the bathroom could use a shelf. At least one to put your belongs on, like body wash etc. All in all a pretty decent place. Bathroom could use a little umph.

It's practically right next to the LIRR station, making a trip to Times Square cheap and easy, and it's about a $30 cab ride to JFK. The hotel was surprisingly clean and comfortable inside for the price and location. Will probably stay here again in the future, as long as the rates are still the same.

The owners are efficient in resolving some of the customers needs: like bringing cleaned towels and other supplies, but when we called them to help us with the TV in the room, nobody ever come. There’s is no microwave, no hot coffee or even hot water to make a tea in the morning. There’s parking spaces maybe for everyone but the only Exit/Etrance is kind of an inconvenience.
