Candlewood Suites - Columbia by IHG

Overall, hotel was very good. I enjoyed everything. My only problem was Candlewood suites usually has outstanding breakfast and this one didn’t have any.

Lovely hotel! Loved having the kitchenette in our room. The beds were so comfortable! The gym was well equipped. Bonus was the free laundry! Will definitely be looking to stay at Candlewood Suites more often!

I gladly recommend Hotel Candlewood Suites in Columbia, Tennessee. The Front Desk staff are very helpful, personable and pleasant. The housekeeping staff are pleasant and helpful also. The suite I am staying in is very clean. I like the fact that the flooring is set up as three different rooms. The kitchenette area is floored with a laminate wood floor. The bedroom area is carpeted and the bathroom area is a ceramic tile. The bed is comfortable with clean linens, closet is very large, luggage and clothes fit perfectly and plenty of very nice wooden clothes hangers. There is an ironing board with an iron and a clothes basket is provided for use when using the free laundry facility. The bathroom is brightly lit and clean with a great shower, plenty of towels, a hair dryer is also provided. Roomy dresser with four deep, clean drawers with a small desk area and ergonomic desk chair. There is also a regular living room style chair, a full length mirror. The kitchenette is stocked with several dinner plates, salad plates and bowls. Coffee cups, large water glasses and small juice glasses. There is also a two burner glass top stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, sink with disposal, silverware and other cooking utensils, frying pan and pot with lid. The refrigerator is very clean with freezer. There is also a gym that is available for guests to use. A nice covered picnic area is provided with gas grills, several tables with chairs. Grounds are well maintained.

Nice room air conditioning was nice and cold

This property was located conveniently off I65. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Our only complaint is that the AC is motion controlled, so in the middle of the night the room becomes very hot. We both woke up sweating and my husband woke up having trouble breathing bc it was so hot and stuffy. Once we moved around, the ac kicked back on and cooled the room down allowing us to go back to sleep. We stayed for 2 nights and this happened both nights. There was no way to change this feature. While we understand that this helps to reduce cost, it is something that should be adjustable during your stay.
