The Place Hotel

It is a lovely hotel but unfortunately the room we stayed in was so uncomfortable, the mattress on the bed was so hard the pillows gave no support they just flopped when you laid your head on them needless to say we didn't get a sleep that night, the room was so hot and very small felt like a cupboard Also when the staff came on shift early morning slaming cupboard doors, in the corridor it's a shame but this lets the hotel down, We did say on the day we checked out to the receptionist after her asking if everything was ok so we did say as we've said in the review

It was ok. My room was more like a cupboard, so so small and shower room was a joke, bed creaked every time I moved. Very very basic and not a pleasant experience. I am now in a hotel in Porto - fabulous in comparison, everything much better than The Place

Clean room, strong internet.

We had a really great stay at The Place. Good location, room was amazing and staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved it and would go back in a second.

Everything fine except.....dealt with 2 different front desk people on question of parking. First guy said there was free parking behind the building for guests. 2nd person said had to park at shopping mall across street and got a discount voucher for staying there.
