Nice and clean. No housekeeping and they charge a fee if you want it.

We wanted to avoid the cookie cutter chain hotels and got what we expected. This is an old school quaint motel. Parking right in front of your door. Rooms had been remodeled and were clean and updated. The staff were excellent and helped us with recommendations on food and parking. No free breakfast and no big screen TV but that’s not what we booked this one for. Would absolutely stay here again.

This quaint, friendly and comfortable remodeled, historic motor lodge was a fantastic choice for us on our weekend in Santa Fe. Built in the 1950s on the historic Route 66, is family-run gem. The rooms and decor were beautifully southwestern themed. The bathrooms were beautifully remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The bonus was the delicious restaurant located right on site, with great margaritas and New Mexican food.

From check in to check out this hotel does not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and provides you with useful information of the area. The rooms are spacious , beautifully decorated and bed is very very comfortable. Setting is quiet but close to downtown plaza.

What a gem! Wish I could have stayed more than one night. We didn’t get to try the restaurant. Next time!!! Excellent stay and great staff!
