The room was a large, comfortable, quiet one bedroom, but the kitchen was not stocked with necessities. I guess you have to request that. The restaurant offered a terrific breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful, but communication between areas seemed problematic. I requested that breakfast be added. One day we were on the list, the next day we weren't. I asked not to have cleaning during our three day stay, but twice when I was in the room, housekeeping stopped by. My biggest complaint is that I went to swim during listed hours, 8-7. The machine was cleaning. I had seen it cleaning from the laundry room more than an hour earlier and the morning after my arrival, so figured it was safe to swim. I swam five laps before someone came to tell me it was unsafe to swim. I pointed out the listed hours and he asked me to wait while he called engineering. I got out of the pool and waited about 10 minutes. Then I decided to give up, but a woman from housekeeping asked me to wait a little longer, that they were coming. I waited a while longer and left. The front desk rep just said they were cleaning the pool. So things don't quite run as smoothly as I would like, but it was a convenient, comfortable stay.

We got a suite with a full kitchen and 1 bedroom and it was very nice but it could used some update and they dont give many pots and pan for cooking or dish soap... The gym was really nice and it was a nice size gym for a hotel...Pool was really cold and not clean 😐 it had a lot of debris in it....But they made up for that with warm cookies they offer at the front desk when checking in or out.....

This property drops the standard of a double tree hotel that I know of by several notches. It is situated in an unsafe area of the town. One overnight during our stay, windows of 4 vehicles were smashed with the broken glasses scattered all over the place in the parking lot of the hotel. The hotel charges the customer $20 for one day parking by the way. One of the victims called the local police after he saw his truck was vandalized. However, the police never showed up! The staff is friendly in general. However, they do not respond to requests promptly. The manager was never spotted onsite. Some staff members seemed didn’t care what problems you had. The lobby was dirty because of the rain. The room was not felt clean either. The kitchen was only half functional. For instance, the fridge acted like a freezer and half of the burners on the stove did not work. No one seemed check the equipment in the room. The hotel did not provide towel papers in the kitchen. The shower door could not closed properly so that water always leaked to the floor. If this is a three star hotel, it’s definitely in the lower end of the spectrum. A very disappointing stay in the hotel. When I saw so many patients staying in such a conditioned hotel paying such undeserving prices, I did not feel good.

Parking was 25 to park at your own risk!! Then then not many spots so you had to park at another hotel walk around on the street instead of the hotel having a back door from the other hotel parking!!

This hotel deserves zero stars. $25 a night to park in an unsecured lot where a crackhead was screaming profanity at someone. Scary. Do not stay here ever. Unsafe area. Also lots of noise coming from the property next door.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The front desk folks were helpful when needed. My biggest gripe is that I paid $20 a night for parking in an unsecured lot, and there were not enough parking spaces; we had to circle several times to find something. Some cars were parked where they were not supposed to be because there was no other option.

Towels had a horrible odor plus my bedding was dirty along with hair on it. The wall in the bathroom had a white stain running down it. The carpet in the hallway had food particles everywhere. Someone put their stinky trash in the hallway. The staff was efficient and changed my room in a matter of minutes .The parking lot is scary and small to say you have to pay for it. You have to turn into a Burger King parking lot to get to this hotel. The bed was hard as a rock. The staff was very sweet to say they have to deal with such a run down property everyday. I’m not happy about the $50.00 deposit I had to pay for a run down disgusting room. It is hard to believe this is a Hilton property .

We have been staying at this property at least twice a year since 2021. On our last two visits, about 6 months apart from eachother, the kitchen in the room was absolutely filthy. Used dishes that had not been washed, sticky counter and cabinets, pieces of food in silverware… The bathroom doors were also sticky. It was as if only the linens and towels were changed, the carpets vaccumed, with everything else left unkempt and dirty. We are considering other hotels for our upcoming stay. It is a shame, since we really loved staying at the Doubletree, but the last two experiences were such a disappointment that we believe it is time to move on. We have no idea what changed in the hotel’s administration, but they certainly do not care to fix the cleanliness issue, since we reported it the first time, gave them the benefit of the doubt by booking the hotel once again, just to experience the same problem. We hope to find a nice substitute hotel for our recurring travels to the Houston Medical Center.

Room was dirty, bathroom door didn’t close, elevators took a long time to reach floor, Some of the staff was nice. Room didn’t have a microwave, I asked an employee if it was possible to use one to reheat some food and was told I had to pay $5 to use the microwave. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The property and rooms were average in cleanliness ( I found crumbs on the carpet floor upon entering room). But service was below average at the front desk when asking for early check-in, late check-out, or simply asking for a bottle of water comped. Responding to all by strict rules only and water was water was either free or $3 a bottle depending on the front desk mood. This stuff dodn't make me feel very good.

dated hotel. Stove did not work. Kitchen was very dated , refrigerator was something you would find in a college dorm. , pool always dirty. I didnt take photos of the in room shower towels but they had black stains .

Upon entering our room, it was evident that the accommodations could benefit from a renovation. The visible wear and tear suggested that the room hadn't been updated in some time. Additionally, the room's temperature control proved to be inadequate, with the air remaining hot and humid throughout our stay. Despite contacting the front desk to report the issue, the technician dispatched simply checked the air vent and did not address the underlying problem. While we appreciated the prompt and courteous shuttle service, the overall condition of the room fell short of our expectations for the price point. Consequently, we will likely choose a different accommodation for future stays.

It was just okay, the rooms were nice but the bathrooms so small. I dropped my shampoo in the toilet. Two people could never be in the bathroom at the same time. On the upside the shuttle was amazing.

The room wouldn’t get cool I had a sitting area that was separated by a door. I spoke with the reptilian downstairs and she politely informed me that the rooms on the end don’t really cool off. I had to keep the bedroom door closed in order for the room to get cool. The next morning i opened the door a was welcomed with heat. Other than that the hotel is really nice.

The room was nice, and the staff were absolutely top notch. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well laid out. With it being so hot, the a/c had a hard time keeping up, and it got a little uncomfortable during the day, but that was our only complaint.

Upon check in. Their system was down. They kept saying to come back and get your key. We tried to get a key all day. The staff was having to walk each guest to their room to let them in all day. It wasn’t till this morning that they were able to make a key. Staff handled this well.

Great communication with the staff during our stay. Our shower broke the first night and they immediately moved us to another room which was an upgrade. The manager came to the room to help with the transition and made sure everything was operating properly. I really enjoyed my stay and the walking distance to burger king and pizza hut. I recommend this hotel in the near future. Only suggest is to put the 25.00 parking overnight on the website. Other than that it was a smooth visit and the beds are so comfortable.

Staff and manager very attentive to our needs. Very courteous. Had some issues with their billing system as they charged my CC at the beginning of our stay. We were told the charge would be $100 for a “hold charge” for miscellaneous costs. Actual charge was $154 which was posted immediately on credit card but we are still waiting the 3-5 business days for the refund. We have never had my CC charged upfront in other hotels where I have stayed. They kept the CC info on file but did not charge until the end of our stay.

We chose this property because it was close proximity to MD Anderson...we have stayed here multiple times and this was the first time there was no parking on the premises. The shared parking garage was around the corner and really didn't feel safe after dark...the cost was also more expensive...

Suite at this hotel was great for a large group - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. They have a local shuttle but it’s only for the medical centers, doesn’t take you to NRG stadium FYI. We came on Saturday night for a concert. Beds are comfortable and everything was clean. Pizza Hut in parking lot open until 1am. That saved us for late night food because the hotel didn’t have anything to offer late. Overall, we were very pleased with the price of this hotel and convenience of what we needed for our short trip.

The property was in a location which was walkable to medical center and a long walk to museum district. The first room I was given the tub was not correctly installed and water only came through shower handle. There was no counter apace in the bathroom for essentials. I requested another room and the front desk had a maintenance man come up to prove the bathroom was not in proper order. The second room was better but the bathroom was so small that the shower was behind the bathroom door. I am a small woman and could barely close the bathroom door to use the toilet. The mini fridge was turned off so my dinner was spoiled. One of the lamps bulbs was out in the bedroom. My friend who stayed in another room said it was very dark in the room and no sink space for essentials. The restaurant downstairs was not better. I went down to have dinner. My glass had something floating in it. The waiter just took it away. Then I ordered some hummus and nan bread to bring to my room. The bread was so hard I could not break it in half. Very disappointed overall. Wish I stayed in the hotel next door!

Good stay convenient location for Md Anderson. Couple things it didn’t have anything in gift shop we wanted a couple of Cokes and some Advil and they had none and none at desk. Also for what charge water in room sb free. Gym is great staff very nice bed comfy and room clean.

Was exactly what was needed for my family to stay together and connected while we we dealt with the primary reason for being in Houston's Medical District. Each day we came back to a beautiful, comfortable, clean and perfect environment and views. Had dinner together around the table after cooking a nice meal in our kitchen. Able to still have privacy in each of our separate bedrooms. The apartment was just perfect... almost as perfect as the chocolate chip walnut cookies handed out every night from the staff. Thank you for alleviating what could have been a very stressful few days.
