Our stay was AMAZING! We stayed 5 nights. The staff really goes above and beyond. Check in was smooth. Every server and bar tender paid attention to detail when serving us food and/or drinks. Pictures don’t do the property any justice! The rooms are beautiful and a little bigger than they seem online. The private plunge pool is a nice touch. The place had such a peaceful, relaxing vibe to it. The WhatsApp feature they use to communicate is awesome and saves you time from having to walk to the front or calling. Anytime we needed a taxi we let them know and one was waiting for us by the time we got to the front. Literally anything we needed they brought to the room within minutes of letting them know via WhatsApp. We did a couples massage which was nice and relaxing. You will not regret staying here if you’re looking for somewhere to wind down, and be within 10-15 minutes of the party scenery. It’s a mini paradise. Anytime we went out we couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel where it was a lot more peaceful than most other areas. We will definitely visit again!

Manager Victoria and Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant before, during and after our visit. All of the staff were friendly, professional. The property was beautiful, intimate, clean. The amenities were also very nice. The bartender made lovely and tasty concoctions. An intimate place for a quiet or couples retreat. Great for wellness retreat too. Beautiful all around.

The property is simply astonishing! Wow, Wow & WOW ! The food is very very good and pricing is quite similar to other places in the area. Rooms are great, ambiance is relax and very soothing. Best place to relax! The only down sides ... roads to accès property although not very long but in bad shape and private pool is not as warm as could be desired even though they can pre-heat for you would like it to become a little more warm. But this is a must go too place. Were hesitating between two locations (Kan) and we went to eat at Kan Hotel (restaurant MOTMOT) and this just confirmed that we had made the best choice. If you think this property is laking in ocean view... well ask the reception they will arrange for you to go to Zebra (no fees required to stay there for the day only you have to buy there drinks and food but if you are there early enough you get a bed with sunshade for the day and free parking)

La cuisine du restaurant est ouverte sur l’extérieur et sur les clients.Vous sentez la friture après le petit déjeuner c’est épouvantable. Pour ce qui est de cette merveilleuse piscine,armez vous d’anti moustique elle en est infestée. L’entretien est un vrai sketch: au lieu d’aspirer les centaines de feuilles mortes tombées autour du bassin la personne en charge du nettoyage a un souffleur elle ne fait que pousser les feuilles un peu plus loin qui reviennent bien sûr avec le vent.

Our overall experience at Muare was excellent, with minor complaints. Firstly the positives- Especially enjoyed the pool area and the relaxing music that plays in the resort all day. It’s very peaceful. We got massages done and the deep tissue massage was great. The bar drinks were fantastic. The room was lovely, and the maintenance did a great job with daily room service and cleaning. Now for the minor complaints - The roads leading up the hotel are really bad, it’s an unpacked bumpy road. I hope that gets fixed soon. The restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food but seriously lacks vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. For such an amazing eco friendly resort, I would expect it to have more vegan/vegetarian options. The one vegan burger they had was great though. Pools could be maintained better.

The pool was not clean. The management was very poor. We left one day after booking four days with no refunds. We are not allowed to have guest. Even though we had family member who was visiting from other hotels The pool was not clean it was it ready for a guest. The best thing about this resort was yoga class in the morning. It is nothing like it advertises in the pictures.

Overall, there are likely not enough words to describe our stay at Muare Tulum. If you’re looking for a peaceful, tranquil stay, you will find it here. The rooms were stunning, from the design to the comfort level. It was similar to having your own private oasis, and we enjoyed whenever we returned from an excursion. Enjoyed the onsite restaurant, and had numerous meals there. The included breakfast was perfect, and there were additional options available for those with a more picky palate. Overall, the staff were above par. Special shoutout to Mauricio at the bar, who I enjoyed interacting with daily and his recommendations for places to visit in the Tulum. All staff were great and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Would certainly stay here again in any future trips. Only commentary, and this probably applies to Tulum in general, is the high rate of taxi’s and shuttle options. The hotel was helpful in securing a private transfer from the airport which, as a first timer, was appreciated. Taxis charge fixed rates to most Tulum sites, so for myself, I likely will look to rent a car next time to ensure I have more options to explore as necessary. What an incredible bohemian jungle oasis place! First of all - it's stunning, huge and surrounded by nature. The spa amenities are amazing...the Cold Plunge and Steam Sauana combo is absolutely addictive. I wish I could do this every day for the rest of my life. The private outdoor tub and shower is soothing and the Myan clay detox massage was out of this world. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and cooked some great Myan traditional food for us conscious of any food allergy. The complimentary breakfast was healthy fresh juices and fruit included. Fabulous cappuccinos and the bartender went out of his way to accommodate drink requests. Dodio is an amazing host and concierge. They scheduled any daily taxi tour or airport transfers for us gladly. Special mention to Cassandra and Brian such kind, multilingual , and warm staff. Can't recommend this place enough! We look forward to returning every year! ❤️

This was my first solo trip to Mexico, and the staff at Hotel Muaré made it an unforgettable experience! From the front desk to the kitchen, the staff's kindness and care were evident in everything they did. I felt incredibly safe, and my stay couldn't have been more perfect. Allen and Dario were especially helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The property is stunning, even after a hurricane, with breathtaking rooms and impeccable decor and bedding. Breakfast was included in my package, and the food was delicious! Mexico treated me so well that I can't wait to return, and I'll definitely be booking at Hotel Muaré again!

El servicio de recepción muy malo, no dan atención, y pésimo horario para asear la habitación ya que se dió hasta las 5 pm. La piscina privada siempre fue sucia, nunca tuvo limpieza. El servicio en el restaurant es excelente, lo hace muy bien el personal.

Muare is a dream destination. The staff are warm and welcoming, without seeming fake. The food at the restaurant was actually pretty delicious. I enjoyed its emphasis on healthier options, particularly for breakfast. I was a big fan of their power shots and smoothies. The rooms were GORGEOUS. Definitely a major difference compared to what you'd see at basic or chain destinations. I loved the large, long windows, the small dipping pool and the outdoor shower (thought I wouldn't like it, but it was perfect). The bed was also super comfy. The property was beautiful and perfectly maintained. Extremely clean and lush with plants and trees. My only downside was the road to the property. Bumpy would be an understatement. I don't know if they have any control over that though. Muare is for people who want a unique and lush experience.

The pool was not clean. The management was very poor. We left one day after booking four days with no refunds. We are not allowed to have guest. Even though we had family member who was visiting from other hotels The pool was not clean it was it ready for a guest. The best thing about this resort was yoga class in the morning. It is nothing like it advertises in the pictures.

Loved the hotel its beautiful. Restaurant and bar are great and staff all around is excellent. Some people reviewed that access is not that great from main road. But really? Its only 3 min that you go off road and our small rental car had no issues. Everywhere in tulum roads are not great. The only reason i would return to Tulum is for this Hotel. And the staff who treat you like home. Rooms are very clean, quiet and everything works to the perfection. Thanks

Our stay was AMAZING! We stayed 5 nights. The staff really goes above and beyond. Check in was smooth. Every server and bar tender paid attention to detail when serving us food and/or drinks. Pictures don’t do the property any justice! The rooms are beautiful and a little bigger than they seem online. The private plunge pool is a nice touch. The place had such a peaceful, relaxing vibe to it. The WhatsApp feature they use to communicate is awesome and saves you time from having to walk to the front or calling. Anytime we needed a taxi we let them know and one was waiting for us by the time we got to the front. Literally anything we needed they brought to the room within minutes of letting them know via WhatsApp. We did a couples massage which was nice and relaxing. You will not regret staying here if you’re looking for somewhere to wind down, and be within 10-15 minutes of the party scenery. It’s a mini paradise. Anytime we went out we couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel where it was a lot more peaceful than most other areas. We will definitely visit again!

The aesthetic of this entire hotel is gorgeous! The room itself was spacious, very clean, had a plunge pool right out our room and an outdoor shower which was very relaxing at night. The only negative was the AC unit (not larger enough to cool down the entire room) and just a lot mosquitos. (Not all doors were sealed, so it was was very easy for the mosquitos to come in) However, expect mosquitos to be everywhere in Tulum. The hotel offered a free breakfast and yoga classes in the mornings which was great to start out our day. Our overall experience was breathtaking! This hotel was definitely designed for those who would like to be one in nature with little to no distractions. Me and my boyfriend stayed for five days and loved every minute of it! From the included breakfast that was delicious to the friendly staff who were attentive beyond words, this was definitely a vacation for the books! We rented a car because we knew we would like to venture out a lot and many people previously reviewed that taxis can be expensive. The roads are also not the best but you’re in a jungle and this area is being developed so be cognizant. The outdoor shower is also a nice touch! My only gripe is that the beds could have been a little softer but my boyfriend said it was fine for him. Either way, we will definitely be back 🤗

Muare is a dream destination. The staff are warm and welcoming, without seeming fake. The food at the restaurant was actually pretty delicious. Our moon villa at hotel muare was beautifully appointed, private and comfortable. The hotel grounds are well kept. The restaurant and breakfast could use improvement and the roads around the hotel location are very difficult to navigate with giant pot holes filled with water. Staff was friendly

Not going to lie driving up to the property I was a little skeptical but as I walked in I was blown away. Everything from the room , service, and food was amazing the best experience I’ve ever had in a hotel can’t wait to go back.

The place is brilliant. I think this is the one of the best hotels I have stayed in my life. You will have you own suite with backyard, and I especially like the outdoor shower. However, the location is terrible. It's far away from the center city and taking a taxi is really expensive in Tulum. If you don't mind taking a cab every day back and forth to the tourist resort, go with it for sure. It's like 20 bucks at least for any one-way trip.

The rooms were stunning, from the design to the comfort level. It was similar to having your own private oasis, and we enjoyed whenever we returned from an excursion. Enjoyed the onsite restaurant, and had numerous meals there. The included breakfast was perfect, and there were additional options available for those with a more picky palate. Overall, the staff were above par. Special shoutout to Mauricio at the bar, who I enjoyed interacting with daily and his recommendations for places to visit in the Tulum. All staff were great and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Would certainly stay here again in any future trips. Only commentary, and this probably applies to Tulum in general, is the high rate of taxi’s and shuttle options. The hotel was helpful in securing a private transfer from the airport which, as a first timer, was appreciated. Taxis charge fixed rates to most Tulum sites, so for myself, I likely will look to rent a car next time to ensure I have more options to explore as necessary. This was my first solo trip to Mexico, and the staff at Hotel Muaré made it an unforgettable experience! Muaré hotel is beyond beautiful! I’m hoping I find myself in Tulum again as I will definitely be staying at Muaré. I loved the morning yoga, what a great touch! Everything is so intentional at Muaré, from the design to scents! The staff were exceptional, a special mention to Leandro, Berna, Tommy, Benjamin, Alan, Montse and Josefina! All the staff made our stay amazing. They were always on hand to help book tours, restaurant reservations and taxis etc. I loved that we could contact the front desk via WhatsApp! I could not recommend Muaré enough! It is a piece of heaven!

Manager Victoria and Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant before, during and after our visit. All of the staff were friendly, professional. The property was beautiful, intimate, clean. The amenities were also very nice. The bartender made lovely and tasty concoctions. An intimate place for a quiet or couples retreat. Great for wellness retreat too. Beautiful all around.

Interesante hotel, lejos de zona turística, sin playa o mar cerca. villas con pequeña alberca pero agua sin calefacción, muy helada el agua y no le da el sol en todo el día a la alberca. Muy mal servicio para que te den la factura, hace una semana hice check out y es hora q no me la mandan no obstante que se las he pedido en mas de 5 ocasiones,,,

You need a car but it’s only a 10 min drive to the main Tulum beach zone. The road is bumpy but we had no issues with a normal sedan. It’s the perfect hotel to relax and breakfast delicious as well!

You need a car but it’s only a 10 min drive to the main Tulum beach zone. The road is bumpy but we had no issues with a normal sedan. It’s the perfect hotel to relax and breakfast delicious as well!

The property is simply astonishing! Wow, Wow & WOW ! The food is very very good and pricing is quite similar to other places in the area. Rooms are great, ambiance is relax and very soothing. Best place to relax! The only down sides ... roads to accès property although not very long but in bad shape and private pool is not as warm as could be desired even though they can pre-heat for you would like it to become a little more warm. But this is a must go too place. Were hesitating between two locations (Kan) and we went to eat at Kan Hotel (restaurant MOTMOT) and this just confirmed that we had made the best choice. If you think this property is laking in ocean view... well ask the reception they will arrange for you to go to Zebra (no fees required to stay there for the day only you have to buy there drinks and food but if you are there early enough you get a bed with sunshade for the day and free parking)

Just got back from our trip and we had an amazing time!! This hotel is unreal. Gorgeous small boutique resort. 10 mins from main town and restaurants. The staff is soooo friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Loveeeee the vibe and decor so much. The food is absolutely delicious and so are the drinks! The shrimp tacos are next level and french toast. Omg! Has a Bali feel to it. Feels so luxurious and private. It is pricey but worth it. There are so many mosquitoes so be aware. But I absolutely want to come back. Loved every minute of my stay here! the property was nice quiet romantic tucked away rooms were cleaned smelled good loved the outside shower. The only downside was the outside road filled with potholes and uneven roads which made it hard to get in and out of the road. Otherwise the place itself was beautiful and tranquil

The place is brilliant. I think this is the one of the best hotels I have stayed in my life. You will have you own suite with backyard, and I especially like the outdoor shower. However, the location is terrible. It's far away from the center city and taking a taxi is really expensive in Tulum. If you don't mind taking a cab every day back and forth to the tourist resort, go with it for sure. It's like 20 bucks at least for any one-way trip.

Our overall experience at Muare was excellent, with minor complaints. Firstly the positives- Especially enjoyed the pool area and the relaxing music that plays in the resort all day. It’s very peaceful. We got massages done and the deep tissue massage was great. The bar drinks were fantastic. The room was lovely, and the maintenance did a great job with daily room service and cleaning. Now for the minor complaints - The roads leading up the hotel are really bad, it’s an unpacked bumpy road. I hope that gets fixed soon. The restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food but seriously lacks vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. For such an amazing eco friendly resort, I would expect it to have more vegan/vegetarian options. The one vegan burger they had was great though. Pools could be maintained better.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much! Everyone at the hotel were so friendly and nice. I loved that they had a texting service through WhatsApp with the front desk staff and they answered all my requests quickly. Breakfast is included from 8-10 AM every morning which was great. Food was mediocre at the Gaudea restaurant so I do not recommend getting anything there besides the free breakfast. Tip is not included, so be sure to tip the waiters! The oasis was so beautiful and peaceful with great music! My boyfriend and I enjoyed tanning at the beds out in the public pool area. We rented a car for our trip and parking was not an issue. Some things I did not like about the hotel was that house keeping cleans the rooms with the doors open so the second night we got bitten so many times by mosquitos during our sleep. After that, we refused house keeping and just exchanged our used towels for clean towels everyday. We wished the room had a TV so we could’ve watched a movie or something before we slept. With the price we paid, wish they had more amenities. Taxi is very expensive there so I recommend renting a car instead. During check out there is a service fee that you can decline if you tipped the waiters or housekeeping separately. The roads to get to the hotel are horrible and I wonder why the roads were not paved. Besides those complaints, hotel Muare in Tulum was wonderful and I would definitely recommend staying here.

This property promises tranquility! This is absolutely not true. The property has so much potential, the management is no where to be seen. The menu is very 2star basic. The pool is horribly dirty, we saw someone cleaning it once in the 8 days we stayed there. The biggest let down is, it was said to be an adult only property, even when we checked in it states in the long list of rules that no one under the age of 18 is allowed on the property. We arrived around three pm, we planned for an early dinner after a very long day of travel, when we arrived at the dinner space, there was a boy approximately age 8. This was extremely impactful on my experience. When I asked the staff, they blamed it on the website making the mistake. So for two day of the eight we were there, there was a very active child hollering and running around. Please be very cautious if you plan to stay at this property. Ps, if you feel when you purchase the breakfast package there are great limitations to that also.

Overall, there are likely not enough words to describe our stay at Muare Tulum. If you’re looking for a peaceful, tranquil stay, you will find it here. The rooms were stunning, from the design to the comfort level. It was similar to having your own private oasis, and we enjoyed whenever we returned from an excursion. Enjoyed the onsite restaurant, and had numerous meals there. The included breakfast was perfect, and there were additional options available for those with a more picky palate. Overall, the staff were above par. Special shoutout to Mauricio at the bar, who I enjoyed interacting with daily and his recommendations for places to visit in the Tulum. All staff were great and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Would certainly stay here again in any future trips. Only commentary, and this probably applies to Tulum in general, is the high rate of taxi’s and shuttle options. The hotel was helpful in securing a private transfer from the airport which, as a first timer, was appreciated. Taxis charge fixed rates to most Tulum sites, so for myself, I likely will look to rent a car next time to ensure I have more options to explore as necessary. The pool was not clean. The management was very poor. We left one day after booking four days with no refunds. We are not allowed to have guest. Even though we had family member who was visiting from other hotels The pool was not clean it was it ready for a guest. The best thing about this resort was yoga class in the morning. It is nothing like it advertises in the pictures.
