This is under remodeling not a big deal for one night, but was was not reasonable let 20-30 workers having brekfast in such a small dinning room, this is a hotel, guests come to rest and have a quiet pleasent stay, not to make lines and noise while having breakfast, never had this experience in any hotel ever Average hotel for one night

I didnot like feeling hot and humid especially inside the lobby. It felt like you were in hell, cery hot and humid. Literally the AC were not on! There was a storm and the rain was leaiing through the lobby entrance. What a joke easily anyone could slip, fall and have a lawsuit. Overall, not what I expected from City Express in Puerto Vallarta. Will never come back.

At check in they did not see that the two rooms had heen prebooked and paid for. They wanted to charge me for the two rooms and it took awhile for them to find my reservation. I even showed them the receipt of payment on your website, but that did not convince them i had paid. The elevators were terrible. They needed the room key to activate and even that did not well. A few times i just rode up and down until i finally got to my floor. One of our rooms had not been cleaned at all.

No resort passes! The duvet cover had stains on it. I asked for a clean duvet and cover.They sent a young man who did not know how to make a bed He started to put the mattress cover over the sheets. At 11pm, this was very upsetting.Finally, I asked to have the room changed, so I could have clean cover When I opened the bed, there was a stain that had not been washed out. Wifi did not work in the evening, when I tried to use google translate. Continental breakfeast is good.

Our room was dirty, the sheets smelled, pillow cases has stained on them or it was dirty. The room smelled. We asked if we can switch to a new room, they did not switch us. They gave us complimentary breakfast but why when breakfast is already included with our stay? We ended up booking a new room somewhere else & wasted the money we booked here.

mal olor en la habitacion, fundas de las almohadas sucias, "desayuno continental" no incluia lo que en cualquier otro city express si, los chilaquiles y el huevo lo condicionan al pagar el desayuno americano, la atención al cliente carente de amabilidad, parece que te estan haciendo el favor de recibierte, ojo aqui si aclaro que son 2 personas las que me atendieron, la muchacha joven si era amable, pero una señora mas grande totalmente indiferente al buen servicio. En fin soy usuario de la cadena en distintos estados y es el peor que me ha tocado. El hotel es bonito por fura y en buena ubicación pero de la habitación y en general del piso 3 que fue el que me toco olia terrible. ojala mejoren y hagan honor a su cadena que por lo general es buena.

Rooms were nice but floors were so dirty your feet would be black after a shower. Sheets and tables also were dirty and not wiped down in some spots. Staff was super friendly and nice. The bar was awesome. And the bar just outside had great food and drinks.

When I checked in, the room was very dusty and there was a lot of trash on the ground inside the room and bathroom. There were no towels in the bathroom and the toilet was filthy. No counter space in the bathroom. Staff was nice, however they took hours to send someone to the room and never answered the front desk for help. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. No dressers or closet for belongings. Property was close to airport, but approximately 15 min from the malecón. Will not be staying at this location again.

The room view was great! The breakfast was also plentiful. The front desk service was excellent. The only downside was that they didn't change the sheets from the previous guests. I booked three rooms, and two of the beds had sand and wrinkles, and also smelled bad! Very disappointing, especially considering the price wasn't cheap!

I stayed here before a few years ago and decided to stay one night recently for an early flight. The hotel was good before but has had some major updates that improved an already nice hotel. The rooms are smaller so not sure I would book it for an extended stay, but one or two nights it does the job.

Upon check-in I was told that I needed to give a credit card for payment. I told Monica that I had prepaid the room through Hotels.com. She said no, that it hadn't been paid and I needed to pay it. Of course, when I got home and checked my credit card activity I had two charges: one from hotels.com and one from City Express.

Even though hotel looks good they canceled my reservation 15 min before my arrival. I arrived at 6.30pm, hotel canceled my reservation at 6.15pm. I was left with my family on the street to look for alternative. Manager was hidding and delegating dealing to receptionist who barely spoke English. Just be aware.

One of our rooms was not cleaned and ready for a new guest. We checked in at 3pm, so rooms should have been ready. They could not find my booking through Hotels.ca and wanted to charge me for the rooms again. Took them about 10-15 minutes to find the original paid for reservation. Most staff do not seem to know what they are doing at all.

Disappointed. Only 1 bath towel in room. When requested a second towel I was told it would be taken to my room. Towel was never brought to room. I later went to lobby to request towel again and was told it will be taken to my room. Again towel never made it to my room.

I liked the proximity to the cruise terminal. It was halfway between the airport and beach areas. Hard to access any beach within walking distance except through a hotel. Restaurant in the parking lot was good.

We were here for 3 nights with our toddler. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was reliable. Breakfast was always fresh and had lots of options. Check out time at 1pm was very convenient. Only downside is that the immediate area isn’t very walkable and there weren’t many dining options nearby.

I have stayed at the city express plus Marriott in Puerto Vallarta many times and I’m always happy with the service. The hotel is centrally, located to shopping centers and bus lines taxis, and restaurants. Highly recommend it.

the hotel is right on the main avenue of puerto vallarta, there are public transportation options. 5 minutes away you will find Walmart/Sam's and a mall, the breakfast is not the best, the quality and availability of food is very limited.

Es un tema el check in, es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos ahí y fue lo mismo, no tenían habitaciones listas a la hora del ingreso. Un extranjero se acercó a reclamar y a él le dieron un upgrade, a nosotros nada. En el desayuno, nos incluía uno tipo continental con bastante poca variedad y te ponen a un lado guisados con el objetivo de que los tomes y posteriormente cobrartelos porque esos no van incluidos en el desayuno. Tomamos por error un par de costillas y pocas papas picadas, eso nos costó $ 150.00 porque aléganos error, y para colmo, estaban fríos y de muy mal sabor.

Marriott is no longer a top hotel chain. The wifi is spotty. Staff refuses any leeway for Breakfast. Stops anyone from eating at 9am on the dial, even though there's food right in front of you. Card stops working at noon. Marriott and other chains will be forced to compete with more accommodating and hands-off approaches to short term rentals, including privately owned condos. I'm sure you're already taking a hit there.

Hotel is small but walking distance to Galerias Shopping Mall and Walmart. It is also close to the airport. View from window room is the port area which was nice. However, the bathroom had a really bad smell. No bathroom towels were provided. The continental breakfast had few options including fruit, cereal, milk/coffee and sandwich. If you like egg or anything else it’s extra charge. Overall it was an okay stay but wouldn’t stay here again. Thankfully only stayed 1 night.
