The staff was great. The breakfast was good for this type of hotel. In the room, there was not Little refrigerator, so for the water it was tough. Because in Puerto Vallarta you need to buy bottle of water. This was not convenient.

Upon check-in I was told that I needed to give a credit card for payment. I told Monica that I had prepaid the room through Hotels.com. She said no, that it hadn't been paid and I needed to pay it. Of course, when I got home and checked my credit card activity I had two charges: one from hotels.com and one from City Express.

Room was clean ,but small and no coffee maker. The mattress was quite uncomfortable. The staff were very kind and very helpful.
