Everything was very clean. Staff were very friendly and always available. The only downside is the matchbox size pool; 4 people would be a crowd. We would stay there again.

Very basic. Clean. No fitness center, no place to fill up water, breakfast opens and closes exact time, pool is tiny and area around didn’t seem the safest but many hotels in the same area.

The fitness room had issues, paper towel dispenser empty, hand sanitizer dispenser not working, TV not working. Staff was alerted but the next day nothing was corrected. The shower was less than expected, stained, I think it might be considered accessible room, I would have preferred a standard non accessible room with a tub.

The room was clean and comfortable. The thing I didn’t like was the size of the pool is really small. I had choose a hotel with pool with the intention of using it but it was really small, so I decided not to use it.

Hotel had everything we needed. Loved being able to do late night laundry. Circle K and Coffee shops close by was a huge bonus. Pool was decent. Breakfast options were very basic, some fresh fruit would have been nice. Staff was awesome!

Bed and food were great. Swimming pool is almost the size of a bathtub. The gate was also difficult to open since there were no instructions posted. The hot waffles were terrific, also the yogurt and strudel were great also.

Parking was free and there was plenty of parking spaces. Lots of restaurants in the area.

It was fine for a work stay in the New Braunfels area. Convenient to I-35 but not right on the highway which was nice. Plenty of dining options within walking distance although the fence limits access to some local businesses. The breakfast bar had limited items and the coffee was served from an instant brew machine, and was more like regular instant coffee or hot chocolate. The breakfast options were the same everyday and limited in selection. The rooms are partially updated but suitable nonetheless. It’s fine for work or an overnight travel stay but not a place you want to go on a family vacation. The pool is small and unguarded which is probably common anymore due to lack of work ethic. All in all, I would recommend it for a few days and would probably stay there again, but I wish the coffee was better and there was more variety to breakfast. The elevator was out of service and I’m not sure if the upper floors are in use. The staff was always available at the desk and helpful with any key issues or added stay accommodation.

Restroom was super dirty

The room was clean and spacious. Ther were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The beis and pillows were comfortable. Good TV and wifi. The breakfast was so ok.

For the amount of money I paid and the pictures online i thought this would be a decent hotel. It was the complete opposite. I was honestly scared i was going to get bed bugs. The room was small The bed was dirty. The outdated tvs and basic cable sucks. I had to go to walmart and purchase new bedding and roku stick just to get through the single night we stayed. I was hoping breakfast would be somewhat decent but all you get is stale bread and some weird old pastry, waffles , and some outdated jimmy dean boxed biscuits with sausage. I will definitely pay the extra 50 dollars to go stay at the Hampton inn and suites next time. I basically felt like we stayed in red roof inn or something. They need to demolish this building and start over new. The pool wasnt even filled to the correct level. It looked half full and had all kinds of crap in it. I didnt even dare take a dip in the pool. And when I say roach I mean literal roaches all in the laundry room that you have to pay 2 dollars to use each washer and dryer.

This hotel was not clean. Old and run down, mold in the shower dirty tiles (I cleaned ONE tile and the washcloth was gross, stained carpet, super wrinkled sheets (one bed had a hair in it already) makeup on the wall. The 2nd floor smelled like weed and my key card was turned off after 4 hours and I had to get a new one.

Dirty staff left half used toiletries in shower. Staff didn’t restock toilet paper left left us an almost empty roll. Hair on the toilet seat. Dirty shower curtain. Smelly hallways

The air conditioner rattled all night and barely worked. The room smelled like mildew. Around 3am the person in the room above us sounded like they were dancing while wearing heavy boots. We cut our stay short and left a day early.

If I could give Zero Stars I would this hotel is BEYOND DISCUSTING!!!! Let’s start with this was booked on hotels.com The beds pillows were hard as a rock The sheets had pubic hairs in the sheets as well as BED BUGS!!!! See photos we had originally got this for four nights we left after the first night the hotel refused to check us out and now they are refusing to give a refund even though we left three days early if you want a bedbug brown bag special and you can get to where I’m going with this (PATEL) then this is the place for you!! I hope this review gets your attention! Do not ever stay here you will regret it! We paid hotel.com but they are saying that hotel is refusing to give refund so nothing can be done! DON’T STAY HERE! You’re Welcome!

The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. The breakfast area was clean and stocked. I stayed here while I was house-hunting.

The traffic in this area (near the 35 frwy) is terribly congested. Takes about 20 min to get through 2 lights. Would not stay near it ever again. The property itself has a very strong cleaning order that is very unpleasant and worse after housekeeping comes around. The walls are thin and you can hear everything and everyone in the hall, outside the building and in adjacent rooms.

Convenient location, very clean room, A+ water pressure and shower, good simple breakfast, comfortable beds. 2 minor complaints - Over bearing smell of cheap air freshener throughout the hotel. This we didn't care for but was livable. TV was local antenna only. No cable no sports or movie channels was quite annoying especially during football season. Hotels should easily have cable or satellite in this day and age. Price was great for what we received, will stay again! Recommend if you aren't extremely picky and want a nice stay at a great price!

We had a king size bed that was very hard. The pillows were very uncomfortable and too small. The toilet was low to the ground. My husband is 6' 3 and I am 5'2 and it was too low even for me!!! The toilet paper was thin and rough. We were told breakfast was included. That was a joke!! We were planning a stay at another Americinn later in the year but needless to say we will be canceling our room and staying elsewhere😒

Nice place, good location, friendly staff. Air conditioner was loud and off and on all night. Disrupted sleep.

The best part of the stay was the bed. The bed and pillows were outstanding. The room was tiny and the bathroom was very odd. The cable system didn't have the sports channel that we wanted to watch a baseball game on, which wasn't a deal breaker but still annoying.

Good location. Room smelled bad, poor lighting, lock on door was broken so we did not feel safe. You can hear all the noise from the room above us. Not a good varity in the complimentary breakfast. Will never stay here again nor recommend.

Hotel was clean, the staff was nice, the room was a decent size and the shower had good water pressure. However, the beds were so uncomfortable and the pillows were hard as a rock that it made the nights miserable.

I thought the property was newer, aged. Room was small in size, pillows on bed small and uncomfortable.

AmericInn by Wyndham New Braunfels was very clean. The staff stood out because they were all so friendly. We had a comfortable stay, and this will be our go to hotel in the future when we visit New Braunfels. Thank you!

It was terrible right from the start. I travel with my husband who is disabled and his service dog. The only reason we booked here is because it said service animal friendly. Walked in and the guy at the front desk was not friendly and as soon as I told him about the service dog he made a face for about a minute just staring at me. Then he started interrogating me on what she's trained to do and then told me basically that he didnt believe me. I had to explain 5 times what she is trained to do and he made a face every time. I said if this is going to be a problem and he said no but then continued to argue that since my husband is not in a wheelchair that she wouldnt be a service dog. This man was rude and basically accused me of being a liar. We didn't leave our room the rest of the night and paid for door dash because we didnt want to even look at him glaring at us. Plus he put us on the top floor in the furthest room fro. The elevator making it more difficult for us. This was a sunday night and basically dead so i know he did this on purpose just to inconvenience us. The place was clean if nothing else. The bed was very hard, we barely slept, and i woke up in pain. The "breakfast the next morning was a hoke. We at least were able to get some coffee before heading out on the road again. Will never stay again and would not recommend.

Convenient and competitive price. King suite was spacious. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would stay there again.

Great customer service. Peaceful and quiet

So, we decided to keep the reservation that I made in error. Property refused the room and said it was cancelled thru Expedia. Got an email confirmation saying the reservation was active. Now clerk calls and says money will be refunded. Very, very poor experience!

Tried to charge me $X for checking in 2 hours early even though hotel was empty and I was checking out 6pm same day. Talked him down to then still charged me more than agreed and above Expedia rate. Will not be staying here again.

Our stay was great. Our rooms were cleaned daily, air conditioning was nice and cool the entire stay but the best part was the awesome staff, very kind and welcoming. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and definitely will be coming back.

I liked everything about this property, except the staff that signed us in. He hates his job. Seemed annoyed, that I asked questions about my stay. Not welcoming at all.

The staff were extremely friendly!

To start our room was not clean. There were streaks all over the toilet seat and hairs on our bed sheets. Kids were running up and down the halls yelling and screaming at night. My greatest complaint is we were also woken up by the front desk calling our room in the middle of the night at 3:45am stating that our smoke alarm was going off. There was no lights or noise emitting from it indicating this and there was also no smoke that could be setting it off. The man insisted that he come up and check inside our room so we had to get up, put clothes on and let him come up. He didn’t even end up coming inside to do or check anything he just looked at us and stared at our smoke alarm from the hallway and said “hmmm”. This was completely unnecessary and made me feel like he was either lying to us or he was being sketchy. At checkout I brought up how upsetting all of this was and the man had no idea what I was even talking about. He said the “other guy” left an hour prior to checkout and no report was made during his shift. I would think that a smoke alarm going off should prompt some sort of documentation on their end. $200 for a room this small and dirty and customer service this incompetent and careless is far too much to pay. Do yourself a favor and choose elsewhere.

Close to every thing

Desk staff was not very friendly when checking in. Walked into the room hot and musty, smelled of mold. No comforter for the bed. Room was way smaller then it looked on pictures. Had to get more towels, they only supplied us with 2 for a double bed room. Bathroom door would not close without slamming it. It is centralized and conveniently close to river and Gruene Hall area.

Stayed here for one night, did the trick. Looked well maintained, rooms were nice, close proximity to restaurants and stores.

Great location. Quiet. Wish they did not use so much plastic and that more businesses in Texas recycled.

This inn is conveniently accessible one block east of I35. The rooms and building appear to recently remodeled making it aesthetically pleasing and our bed was comfortable. The staff is welcoming and attentive. There are just a few little convenient stores and eateries with in walking distance. The breakfast was mostly carbs (waffles, cereal, pastries) so be prepared to add your own protein. I still give it 5 out of 5. My wife really liked the stay and she felt safe.

It Was easy to get to. It only took a few minutes to get downtown. Easy access to mai highways. Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful

You are paying for a hotel snuggled behind other major hotels near a busy intersection. If you want a quiet place to sleep, this should work out.

Close to freeway, cold ac. Just right for a last minute getaway in New Braunfels

Location convenient to Schlitterbahn and freeway. Good continental breakfast.

Breakfast was terrible

The room was nice. It was extremely cold during our stay, but the room was kept very comfortable with the heater. The description of amenities included breakfast, however the coffee was not very good. they only had cold cereal, waffles and bread/bagels. There was some yogurt in the small fridge and apple and orange juice. There was no protein at all. All the staff were very nice and accommodating and the elevator was functional. There are a lot of options for dining, in this particular area.
