We had the best time here this past week! Spent most of our days at the party pool as well as one enjoying the beach with exceptional service from Victor, Samuel (Sammy), Jaun Carlos (JC), Manuel on the beach & so many others. These 4 gentleman & the lovely lady from the sports bar that I seem to be blanking on her name really made the trip but every single staff member was outstanding! Food was 10/10, we especially liked the Italian. Pools are beautiful & one heck of a wild time! Rooms are beautiful & well taken care of. Resort is updated and in chatting with other visitors it is “the place to be”. We will certainly be back as will our many friends we met on our travels. Huge thank you to Romeo for getting us all checked in and out as well as the lovely gentleman working breakfasts at Spoons for always making sure our day started right (with a little 9am tequila)

We were pleased to receive an ocean front upgrade upon our arrival at no extra charge. Staff was friendly; however, almost immediately after getting registered for our rooms, we were hit with someone giving us a sales pitch to go to a 90 minute presentation somewhere else for some vacation club package. We were called in our room a day or two later asking us to go again. While waiting for our rooms to be ready our friends and us toured the grounds. We ended up at the "party pool" and decided to sit down as we were hot. We made the mistake of sitting in the cabanas along the pool and within minutes told we could not sit there without paying for bottle service. We also had to pay for bottle service at the main pool to sit in the sunken areas in the pool. The cabanas and sunken areas were empty the entire time we were there --ridiculous. My husband got yelled at for saving some pool lounge chairs in the morning. There was minimal AC in the restaurants. We all sweat like crazy just to eat a meal. The drinks were extremely watered down no matter what drink we tried. The food was ok. Our best meals were at Silk City, Strips and Coquette. The servers were attentive at all restaurants.

The things we liked about this property were; friendly staff, beautiful properly, activities and the overall decor and layout of room. What we didn't enjoy; even though an all-inclusive they did not provide any alcohol in the rooms without an additional cost, bars closed down at 11pm even on weekends, dinner buffet needs better quality and more options. Pool seating was hard to come by unless you paid for bottle service.

The food was fabulous. So much entertainment that we did not need to get off the resort. Really wish we could have had a liquor bar in our room, but instead it was just two beers, I’m sure we could have asked for more? Room service was 24hr which was nice. The nightlife of the resort shuts down at 1am which was fine for us. We did go off resort which was a bit of a track, Doubt it would have taken us this long had we stayed in town, but we definitely did not regret it! There was 1 resort store for shopping, but never needed to go in. The staff was exceptional, friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend!

Pools were great, this is a adult only resort and was geared towards a party/nightclub theme. Oceanfront rooms are excellent, xhale concierge is pretty worthless except for the oceanfront rooms, Robert in concierge was amazing, Angel and the team at the plated breakfast were great (best place for breakfast is the outdoor plated), Rogerillo and Edwin were amazing by the main pool every day. We were sad to see them switch sides on us one day. I will say the restaurants are limited in that they are very specialized with some strange foods. As a result our mainstay dinner places were the Italian restaurant and room service in the evenings, tepanyaki is good (but loud) if you can get a reservation. Poolside pizza at the main pool is awesome, chicken sandwiches from the party pool are also a favorite. The Mexican restaurant and French restaurants are limited menus, steak restaurant didn't try, no nighttime buffet which is a big negative as this would have offset the limited menus at the restaruants. Otherwise our stay was great, dining is an individual taste so you may like the choices better than we did!

Beautiful property!! Rooms were excellent, we chose the tropical view swim out, it was a waste because though the sun was shining the water was very cold because the plants were blocking. It really depends on what you’re looking for, if your going for relaxing this is it looks of activity during the day but everything closes around 8pm and nothing at all 10pm.

I received 2 spa treatments with Julia and she was phenomenal. I felt like a new person each time I left. The power outages were unsettling as they happened multiple times over 3 days. They made me reluctant to take the elevator. Additionally, the day I left the elevator to the lobby floor was not working so I had to climb very slippery steps to check out of the hotel, and for that, I was truly upset.

Upon arrival, we were checked into our room and noticed how dirty our room was. They rushed to clean our room; there was dirt, dust, and the previous guests' press-on nails on the floor. We asked them to re-clean the room, they said they would and once we came back, all they did was re-mop the room. It was frustrating to be disappointed after being so excited to visit and enjoy our time. The rooms were below standards and will prevent us from visiting again.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Sheets smelled like mildew. Rooms smelled like toilet water. Food was poorly seasoned. Constantly loud. Drinks were premade. “Ocean view” to them means you can see a sliver of ocean behind someone else’s balcony. Awful experience. Nothing good to say except for the tostada at the Bites restaurant was delicious

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Breathless Resort. This was my first experience at one of your properties, and unfortunately, it will be my last due to the numerous issues I encountered. To start, I had requested a birthday design for my room upon arrival, but this was not provided until the very last day, which completely defeated the purpose of the celebration. Additionally, the water from both the shower and sink smelled like sewer water, and the entire room had a foul odor that forced us to leave the patio door open just to make it bearable. Despite reporting these issues via phone and the app, no one from maintenance ever came to address them. The sheets in our room were dirty, and even after requesting housekeeping through the app for Saturday, no one showed up to clean the room. On top of that, the cabinets were damaged, and the countertops were broken and damaged in multiple spots, which was unacceptable for the price I paid for this resort. The lack of service extended to dining as well. We ordered breakfast at 10:45 a.m., yet it was not delivered until 1:40 p.m. Waiting nearly three hours for a meal is completely unacceptable and added to my overall frustration with the stay. Given all of these issues—none of which were adequately addressed despite my efforts to voice concerns during my stay—I feel that the experience was not worth it

Some of the front desk representatives were a little nasty.. Particularly a middle aged / younger Hispanic woman. The cocktails had a very distinct “soapy” taste and even the juices.. room service was great as well as the rooms. My room was not ready when I came so they tried to downgrade me to a lower quality room and I absolutely wasn’t for it. After complaining for a while they gave me the room I paid for! The spa was great and relaxing.. the food choices at the restaurants were a 7/10.. the pools and ocean view were amazing ! I also love that they had an app.. WiFi was pretty terrible

Everything was wonderful! The staff were friendly and attentive but not pushy. The food was even really good! The rooms were clean. The resort was more contained, with everything in the same area and much more walkable and less “campus-like.” Lounging at the pool offered perfect views of the beach & ocean too, creating a best of both worlds. Would recommend upgrading to member/VIP/xhale club benefits. Also no reservations for dinner at restaurants, arrive when they open or be prepared to wait.

Beautiful ocean view though the water right at the beach is kind of dirty looking—not really what I expected for Cancún area. Very nice room, but the Excelerate rooms are apparently near the loud daytime DJs. Exhale rooms seemed to be a more chill vibe.

The air conditioning in my room didn’t work the entire stay. Made resort aware and they didn’t choose to assist me until and change my room until the night before my departure. Ordered room service twice and the food never arrived. Overal resort was nice but was not able to get any good rest with the room be severely humid.

My partner and I loved this property. The swim up room is always a plus for me. The party pool was a great time and good music! For an all-inclusive, the staff was very responsive, and we didn't have to wait super long for room service. We definitely enjoyed ourselves! Ps bring floaty's if you get a swim up room; it was the perfect touch!

Overall the stay was good. We were late being able to check in then had to wait almost an hour and a half for our bags to be brought to the room. When we arrived at the room, the A/C seemed to not be working. I went back to the front desk and spoke to the gentleman who had just checked us in. He advised me that it had been out resort wide and I should’ve been told at check in. I reminded him that HE had checked us in. We were moved to an upgraded room but our last night, the A/C went out again. The facilities , restaurants, and majority of staff were up to par.

It took me more than half my stay to get changed to the correct room that I booked. No one at the front desk was willing to assist in getting my room change. Everytime I spoke with someone they always said comeback later.I come back and they were always in a meeting. I work for Hilton as a Director of Security, no one has meetings after 5pm.😒. I probably will never use the Hyatt brand because of this experience! The drink selection was subpar. Even the Xhale club,which is suppose to be premium drinks, were low grade selections. The rooms smell of mildew. The staff everywhere except the Xhale lounge and breakfast gave the impression that they didn't want to serve you. Even as I was tipping a lot they still made me unwelcomed. Your front of the house staff should be retrained on customer service, it is very poor. Terrible communication, and apathy. If I could give a minus rating, I would.

The Breathless Riviera Cancun All Inclusive Resort was amazing! 10/10 experience. So many amazing restaurants and events. 3 pools to choose from. The ocean is steps away from the pools. The staff is so incredible, kind and accommodating. We had the most incredible experience. Highly recommend!

The stay was great! We had some issue with the gift shop where they purposely over charged us. They would say things were more expensive than the price tag and ring up whatever amount. They would also refuse to provide an itemized receipt. We realized after paying that they overcharged us by $30. We went to the reception to complaint and they were able to get us a receipt and an item for the money they overcharge, supposedly they don’t do refunds. This was a couple of hours of back and forth on the last day. Left a sour taste as it was the last interactions we had before checking out.

Amazing resort!! super romantic and intimate. I loved that it was a smaller resort.. it was perfect for someones first time to an all inclusive resort.. also since it is smaller less people around acting fools. I loved it and will be back soon! Only issue is that if you want to explore cancun city too then this place is far from the heart of cancun or hotel zonera… so be prepared for pricey cab rides if you like to explore outside of the resort

We liked the decor, service, and cleanliness of the property. The beach was nice however the water was full of seaweed so not swimmable. We were very disappointed about this because our reason for travelling to the caribbean was to to swim in the ocean near the resort. The resort was too remote which made travel to nearby towns and attractions very expensive. We will not return to Breathless Riviera for these reasons.

This hotel is one of the best in Cancun! The staff are so attentive and genuinely enjoy doing their jobs!! It is in Riviera Maya so not close to downtown Cancun but no need to leave resort. The entertainment was fantastic!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Breathless. It was a lot of fun and we met lots of great people. Download the app to discover the daily events and activities. The food at Spoon buffet was delicious—there were plenty of options at breakfast and lunch. The food at Spumante and Coquette were quite good too. Angel was an amazing server. He was so friendly, polite, and attentive. All the staff worked so hard to ensure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. They played better music at the Xcelerate pool. My only issue with this resort is there aren’t enough lounge chairs for all the guests, it takes a while to get seated at any one of their restaurants (wait time is usually around 45-60 minutes at around 7-8pm), and the beach is not nice (the area is part of a lagoon so we knew it wouldn’t be that great; obviously it’s not their fault, but just don’t have high expectations).

Overall we liked the property. The rooms were excellent and service very good. Our waiter Angel at Spoon was wonderful, special thanks to him!! We liked the fact that we could have been picked up from Uber. We forgot that we booked during spring brake. The pool area was very loud and even on the beach you couldn't really relax, as the DJ at the end of the property was so loud that you could not relax anywhere. The food overall was good, some waiters at the Italian restaurant must have been new and were overwhelmed. Waiting time for the Restaurants was up to an hour every night.

Food Food Food! This place has amazing food. More specifically it has an amazing sushi restaraunt and all inclusive authentic mexican taco bar. Food is amazing, Staff is friendly and fun. The beach is a bit sad looking compared to other resorts, but the drinks are good and not watered down along with pools and party area. Great place to stay!

Pools were great, this is a adult only resort and was geared towards a party/nightclub theme. Oceanfront rooms are excellent, xhale concierge is pretty worthless except for the oceanfront rooms, Robert in concierge was amazing, Angel and the team at the plated breakfast were great (best place for breakfast is the outdoor plated), Rogerillo and Edwin were amazing by the main pool every day. We were sad to see them switch sides on us one day. I will say the restaurants are limited in that they are very specialized with some strange foods. As a result our mainstay dinner places were the Italian restaurant and room service in the evenings, tepanyaki is good (but loud) if you can get a reservation. Poolside pizza at the main pool is awesome, chicken sandwiches from the party pool are also a favorite. The Mexican restaurant and French restaurants are limited menus, steak restaurant didn't try, no nighttime buffet which is a big negative as this would have offset the limited menus at the restaruants. Otherwise our stay was great, dining is an individual taste so you may like the choices better than we did!
