Bayfront Hotel Cebu North Reclamation

Some of the staff were pleasant and nice. The security guard for the night shift should have some coffee to keep him awake as a courtesy and to help there employees. The place was not that bad but they could clean it better. The staff in the breakfast area, liked to gossip but subtle. It was very disappointing when the elevator broke down. We were trapped for almost 10 mins and they said it was normal. I called management and complained about it and the receptionist said it was a normal occurrence since there was rain and alot of guests. It got annoying explaining about contigency plans and fixing the fire exit since it wasn't even finished yet.

Its close to SM mall and transportation called "My Bus". Buffet breakfast is very disappointing. The first day we were there all TVs in the hotel is not working, next day the elevator is not working. Stay away from this place

GREAT LOCATION:very near shopping center (SM City) and lots of dining options. BREAKFAST included: downside is the SIZE of the DINING area-TOO SMALL, ALWAYS VERY CROWDED, sometimes you have to be standing up in the first few minutes to wait for a table to be available. FOOD is very good though which is a plus. ROOM RATES: very affordable. Room presentation is very nice, great color coordination. Very comfy beds, but noticed there\'s no sheet that\'s usually under a bed cover which is usually used as a blanket before the bed cover/comforter itself. It\'s just profoundly UNHYGIENIC to use the bedcover as the blanket itself. BATHROOM: OK, though needs a bit of maintenance especially the lighting (lights are too dim in our standards), shower drain is very slow. ROOM RATES; very affordable. Transportation accessibility is excellent; taxis are easy to get if you don\'t have a private car. The bus terminal is just across the street as well. A "My Bus" bus is an option located across the street in the terminal to take you directly to the airport if you want, other than taking a taxi, or if without a private car. FERRIES/BOAT terminal: the Piers are just few blocks away- a plus! A 7Eleven Store is located in the ground floor just right next to the hotel- a big plus! HOTEL STAFF: "customer-centered" service. In Summary: This is a GREAT HOTEL CHOICE! Highly recommended.

Given the age difference of when the Radisson Blu and Bayfront was built you would figured Bayfront would be in pristine condition. Sadly, that is not the case. Looks like ownership decided to cut costs across the board and it clearly shows. Furniture is old, lights are dimmed through out the room; if wanted to read, don't bother, you will strain your eyes. It's actually a good thing the place is so dim, because it was filthy throughout. Example, looking under the bathroom sink you can see grime. Disgusting. Refrigerator temperature is a joke, barely cooler than the room itself. Hot shower, forget about it, not happening. Beds are typical budget Filipino style: extra firm, so hotel doesn't need to replace mattress's often. Pictures of gym are deceiving, nothing works and no free weights exist. Only pluses, morning buffet is generous. Staff and manager are friendly and really try to accommodate with what they are given. I especially want to thank Tesie for allowing us to shorten our stay without occuring a penalty. It was so bad we had to transfer to a competing hotel. Owners need to do better, and think about not just the bottom line: cutting costs can only get you so far. After that guests will figure out this is not a 3 star hotel, but just another overpriced budget hotel that is in disarray and in need of serious renovations.

The hotel room was not sound proof at all, loud noises from outside can be easily heard disturbing your sleep. On another note, the gym is not maintained, machines and equipments weren’t cleaned. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very helpful when we had questions about the surrounding areas and how to get around.

Great value. This property is right across a shopping mall. There’s 711 next to the hotel entrance. There’s also a restaurant inside the property that provided the free breakfast. Staff were welcoming.

The hotel itself is very nice. But there is a general lack of maintenance in the rooms. Clear signs of mold in the bathroom, dust whereever its a tiny bit difficult to reach. The service is very good tho. and the location is great aswell.

Room clean but dated. Small cockroaches along the hallway and at the coffee bar. The room smells like a toilet freshener.

We stayed at this hotel in Aug 2023 and everything looked brand new, the comforters and bath towels were purely white and that bathrooms were gorgeous. This time around, we got disappointed. The hotel looked very dated from the bathroom to the now off white colored towels and comforters. So sad. We still love staying here but I hope they strive harder to maintain the hotel's amenities and change what needs to be changed such as bath towels and comforters. We'd rather stay at radisson blu if no changes will be done soon.

Staff are friendly and respectful. The site is wonderful coz its near sm and bus terminal. The room is good but the towels are old and dirty white already. Should have a face towel and a hand towel. Staff told us that only the suite room has a supply for face towel.

The bathroom wall was slimy.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. The towel provided was visibly dirty, with a yellow stain. The bed sheet was also unclean, we have to request a change upon check-in. Additionally, the door lock malfunctioned multiple times and could not be promptly fixed.

This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, 1st one in Aug 2023 and comforters were sparkling white that time. Now, they're not as white. Hotel should consider changing them since it affects our perception of the hotel, it ages the hotel. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and will definitely be back. We actually book again already. 😃

Room was very comfortable but could use a little updating, the lobby looked brand new, maybe they just haven’t gotten to the rooms yet. Loved our stay, 5 minute walk to SM mall!

There is no face and hand towel in the bathrooms. TV is not working. We called the front desk and can’t do anything about it as it is not working both tv in two rooms not working. Breakfast Buffet is ok.

The 4 day stay with family was great. Location is ideal. Hotel is clean, staff was friendly at check in and check out. Room is spacious and clean.

The room was stinky when we got there smells like mold, we complained but they don’t even know what molds is. They don’t even clean our room for two days we only had two towels and one toilet paper in there, we had to asked the front desk if someone can clean our room and bring towels and toilet paper.

When you first check in even if I already have paid for my stay I still had to wait for over an hour. Staff was not around I wasn’t sure who was supposed to be there. Very disorganized. People were lining up but staff doesn’t know where to start. I would not recommend but if your looking for a poor service then that’s your hotel.

I just couldn’t get over the fact about the grimes left on the toilet and shower . I have called for housekeeping to come but nobody ever came . They just seems like overall very very busy . The staff needs better communication amongst each other and make the guests a priority especially when it comes to satisfaction and convenience. But very convenient place to be next to SM mall

Staff were so welcoming and very nice. Check-in and check-out was quick. Breakfast was excellent and dining crews were so helpful. Food was great and delicious. Will surely stay here again in the future. Location was convenient to everything especially the big mall infront.

There were a lot events happening and the hotel was pretty busy. Just stay the night to catch the ferry next morning. Location was great

Easy walking distance to mall. Taxi and bus depot across the street

Very central. Next to public bus depot and SM City Cebu. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and air conditioning was great.

If you are coming to Cebu before venturing out to the Visayan Islands, this is quite simply the best and mosr convenient place to stay in the city. The airport MyBus is across the road, SM City Mall is a block away, the bus station for northern Cebu and Malapascua is also across the road and taxis to the ferry port cost around $2. The hotel itself is clean, secure and has a delicious breakfast, as well as being great value for money.

Bfast is too expensive for P998 with very less option. It's not a full international bfast buffet.

Breakfast is buffet, but food is not my type and the breakfast area is so crowded. Like the guest is more than the accommodation.
