As others have mentioned, there is no parking on site. There are several public parking garages that are very close, but when the listing said on-site parking, I was expecting to take my hotel elevator to the parking garage. The staff there are wonderful and very helpful. They referred us to the cheapest parking, which was nice, although no in and out privileges. The room was huge, very spacious and perfect for our family of 4. I could have sworn breakfast was included when I booked, but that dropped off. No big deal, Dad & David’s was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

We booked a room with a king bed. It was very comfortable. The room was clean as was the bathroom and the kitchen area. The freezer made ice cubes very quickly, and the fridge was very spacious. I believe the description on hotels.com says that they have their own parking. That is not correct. But we were able to find close parking pretty easily. Front desk staff was very helpful with that.

The parking needs to be closer. I had my 1yr old granddaughter. I saw later that there was valet but I did not see that sooner. The walk from the garage in high humidity kept me in the room the rest of the night. No streaming for TV. SUCKED , no pool. But did enjoy the stay. Room had a lot of extras.

Our stay was very good. Great room and amenities for the price we paid. Just two issues....one the phone in our room didn't work and we couldn't get in touch with the front desk. Second, nowhere in the booking of the room do they tell you they do not have parking on site and that you'll have to go to a garage to park ($22).

We love Candlewood. We've stayed here several times and will return when we are in the area next. There's a fantastic breakfast/lunch place at the uphill corner of the block, David and Dad's. We figured out that one of the switches by the door turns on the electrical sockets. There are laundry machines free to use, you supply detergent...a fantastic plus for this establishment in our experience. Central to museums and the harbor. Rooms aren't fancy but work well and are spacious and comfortable. Great staff at the front desk.

Room was very spacious and contained a lot of amenities such as a full size fridge. Finding the place and parking were a challenge. More signage at the street level and telling people which garage is best to park in would be recommended. Overall, I was very happy with the place. It was only about a 15 minute walk to Camden Yards.

The front desk staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Props to them for an efficient check-in and assistance as needed. Regarding the room, it had not been deep cleaned. I moved the bath mat to the sink vanity at one point after a shower, and when I went to pick it up, it was black from where it had rubbed against the floor. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The turn-off of knowing the floor hadn't been mopped in what I would guess is several weeks, was disturbing. The halls reeked of marijuana, neighbors were loud, and the general state of hallways and elevators was dirty and messy. Had this not been a business trip booked by a client, I certainly would have demanded a different hotel.

I am grateful the front desk allowed me to store my luggage as well as check in early for my stay. In terms of cleanliness, there were was a lot of dust in my room. As a person with severe allergies this was not comfortable. Additionally, the bubbling of paint in the bathroom and rust stains on the ceiling were unappealing. Lastly, the hvac system is extremely loud. It was very hard to hear while in conference calls and I felt I needed to turn the volume on my tv loud to hear over the system.

We had a great stay at this hotel! It's in a convenient location that was easy to find. They keep the lobby spotless and our rooms were perfectly clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Amazing shower!! Front desk was helpful and friendly. Perfect hotel! Loved having a little kitchen and full size refrigerator.

You can tell it was a very quick walk through more than a cleaning. The lights were very bright by the sink area so I was confused as to why there were still little brown hairs everywhere. Anyway, the vents were so dirty that I was nervous to turn the AC on, the walls had so much dust and there were just a lot of random crumbs through the floor. I wouldn't recommend this to friends or family to stay at based off of my experience

the street was very noisy at night. the room would start smelling like cigarettes every time the AC was turned on because the smell traveled through the vents. the wood floor was sticky and there were little bugs flying around, i don’t know where they came from

My stay was fine. It seemed to be an extended stay hotel with a number of people actually living there. The other rooms on my floor were pretty noisy along with the construction outside. It wasn’t a very peaceful stay. The hotel itself was very clean, my room was knives, and the bed was comfortable. I liked having the full refrigerator/freezer and a mini kitchen for a few days.

The air conditioning was broken. Someone was supposed to come by and reset the thermostat in the room, but apparently they did not. The staff politely moved me to another room later in the day. However, it would’ve been nice if somebody would have simply stopped by to reset the unit as they said they would. A weird smell permeated the floor I was on. The entire place is very basic. Rooms have odd ‘wood’ linoleum flooring and concrete walls. The bed was comfortable and served the purpose for one night.

Hotel generally is fine, and it is downtown Baltimore, so that is that. My room had an air conditioning fan that was the loudest I've ever heard. It was like a leaf blower or industrial fan. The settings were on or off - no low. Impossible to sleep with air on. Pretty much a deal breaker if I had to use it. Kitchen is very nice.

I stayed here for several nights and by the end of my visit I was ready to jump out of my skin every time the guest room doors slammed from people going in and out. It definitely did not make for a restful stay. Also, the woman that works the front desk was quite rude, she made me feel like my presence was an inconvenience. I won't be back.

I couldn't be happier with my one night stay while having procedures at Mercy Medical. Deshan was at the desk at checkin and checkout and was helpful, curtious, efficient, and personable. My room was safe, clean, roomy, and comfortable.

The staff was helpful, for sure, but the property needs better maintenance and some repairs, such as repainting the bathroom ceiling in my room and increasing the water pressure for the toilet and shower. The elevator doors need to be upgraded. Consider the security at the door, as homeless people often loiter near the hotel door store next door. Additionally, the garbage in my room was not taken out during my entire stay, and the AC made noise. The staff was limited and trying to multitask. Still, more staff should be assigned, especially over a holiday weekend when three festivals were happening, to reduce waiting time at the front desk.

Overall the stay was nice. The hotel was clean. The room was as expected and bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was AWFUL. When I asked the concierge lady if our room was by the elevator she ROLLED her eyes at me. It’s your job to be pleasant and answer questions. Her demeanor and attitude was awful. And I was sure to let her know her behavior was unacceptable.

Genuinely the worst place I’ve ever booked on this app. There was no parking even though the listing said as much. The hotel had NO AC the entire time I was there which made our room 90 degrees. The staff was rude and when we asked for some sort of compensation, the manager said he’d comp a night and then LEFT. didn’t even ask for our names or room numbers. Do not waste your time.

The hotel itself was nice and clean for the most part. Our only suggestion ia that the glass windows at the entrance cleaned thoroughly. Also, the first night we had trouble sleeping due to construction nearby. Police presence in the surrounding area is needed, as homelessness and those dealing with mental health issues is a problem.

Had to be in Baltimore for a very early meeting, so decided to stay the night instead of make the long commute in the morning. Found this hotel right in the middle of downtown for a great price and allowed dogs (had to bring my senior pup with me). The lobby was basic but cute. The room was no frills but very clean and comfortable. The guy at the front desk staff was very friendly and checked in a few times to ensure that everything was up to par for me. Unfortunately the hotel is located in a not so great neighborhood (hello, downtown Bmore). So I don’t recommend staying here if you want to walk around - I stayed in all night and left in the morning for my meeting. I would definitely stay here again. Especially for the convenient location, cleanliness, comfort, dog friendly… and budget friendly.

Dirty outside-couldn't even tell it that we had arrived if our GPS didn't tell us. It is located less than 1/8 of a mile from a major hospital-ambulance sirens at all hours. Very noisy.

The Hotels.com site says that the hotel has parking. That is not true. There is parking nearby but you will have to walk and the garages are more than $20 per day. The hotel is nice and the staff was pleasant.

Hotel is in great location for the Inner Harbor Arena (rn. CFGBank arena) or also Mount Vernon or Inner Harbor. Baltimore is struggling economically, many businesses have moved out, and you can see this everywhere. While I felt safe walking as a couple, you will see a lot of poverty around you. The hotel itself is fine and on evenings with Arena-events, the high police presence in the evening is very helpful, so it works for visitors, but some people may feel discouraged to walk around alone. The hotel itself is fine, once inside. It is clean, clearly has been renovated and secured, and rooms are clean and our room was pretty standard. The hotel accommodated my wish to stay in same room for multiple nights, when my reservation had been made separately, due to changes in our travel plan, which was really appreciated. My only problem was, that while there was hot coffee in the lobby, if you don't drink coffee, there was nothing. No tea bags, no chocolate. Nothing. Just a store to buy cold drinks. I had to go, get dressed, go out and buy stuff. Not acceptable. And so easy to fix.

I liked that the rooms had a small kitchen, and it saved me money on food and beverages. I disliked the prices of the bottle of water, and I dislike the fact that upon my arrival and the initial room I was assigned to there was an issue with the linen. The bed linen wasn’t clean. The staff on duty handled that pretty quickly by offering to switch me to another room.
