Es un hotel muy lindo y la zona es tranquila. Para llegar no hay pavimento, pero no es un problema. El estacionamiento es sobre la calle y puedes quedarte justo frente al hotel. Sin duda, volvería!

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel avec chambre spacieuse avec balcon. Une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir dans un espace agréable avec de nombreuses plantes tropicales. La rue dans laquelle est située l’hôtel est par contre en terre et peu éclairée.

The accommodations immaculate, the services gracious and the place serene. On is immediately impressed by the plants, pruned and encouraged to grow in all the exterior spaces of this wonderful hotel so that one is always moving about and thru a carefully art directed jungle. Even getting to our ground floor room, to its marble terrace with it's contemporary iron-crafted wing chairs was an adventure. There's a little pool, a kind of conceptual cenote that's charming. Most of all, the staff is gracious and eager to assist and provide comfort, towels for the pool, beverages, a wonderful breakfast. It's a small well-maintained hotel. Located in the outskirts of town, one can easily get to shopping and restaurants either walking or by taxi. There's a superb French-inspired bakery just two blocks away. We felt safe in the neighborhood, which like most of Tulum town is undergoing aggressive development, but this hotel stands alone as a really nice establishment in which to stay and see this part of Mexico.

Overall a great place to stay for a night, the staff were great. The pool was a bit too dirty for my partner and I to get in and the shower being saltwater also was a downside but that is personal preference.

Great atmosphere and staff!! We loved the pool. Very close to town, and also walking distance to a lot of restaurants/cafes. The small drive-in to get there is rough, but worth it. And only a 20 minute drive to the beach/tourist area.

The hotel is not a 4-star as claimed. Most of the staff are good but the property has inherent issues that the staff cannot resolve. I stayed with my 2 kids and here's the issues: 1) Property is probably newly built in a new area. So the street is still a muddy road with lots of potholes. 2) The welcome was not warm at all 3) The room did not get hot water in the shower. Discussed this with various staff at least 5 times and they could not fix it. They offered to move us to a new room but that was the night before we were to leave. 4) the room had a muggy/damp smell in all the linens 5) bathroom was really poor: there was no spare toilet paper, there are no holders for soaps etc in the bathroom, the flush is very poor 6) the hotel says continental breakfast included. This is not what you get in all hotels out there. You get to choose from a couple of egg options or waffles/pancake. Either/or - was really really odd and this should be mentioned on the website. You get some sliced fruit. Basically it is a limited breakfast and not that you can help yourself to multiple servings of what you need. If you are unwell and feel like eating only fruits, you are out of luck! The staff seem to want to care but given all the above, they cannot do much about it.

Overall the experience was nice. The surrounding area had a lot of construction going on but we didn’t hear any loud noises when we were there. The staff were some what friendly. The hotel seems to have a plumbing issue.

Was a great option. A little loud at night (mostly from upstairs neighbors) and need to figure out better ventilation in the bathroom but the hotel was great, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. They offer a unique ‘water’(hibiscus, cucumber, lemon) each day which is refreshing and a nice touch.

Overall, I would not recommend this property for the paid price. It is possible to find cheaper accommodation in a better location with better service. Details below: Location: The hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. The street to the hotel is very bumpy and it is not a real road. Pretty dangerous to go there by scooter and taxis charge you extra because of the poor street conditions. Room: Overall, the beds are comfortable and the room is clean. On the other hand, we checked-in in room 201, at the end of the hotel and did not have WiFi in the room. This took them an entire day to fix. Furthermore, the water pressure in the bathroom is insanely weak. It took over 10 minutes to shower entirely, simply because there was not enough water coming out. Service: The doorman was nice to us and helped us order taxis to come and pick us up. We paid European prices over Hotels.com to have breakfast included in our stay. On the first day, we ordered a fruit platter that was free of charge. On the second day, the staff told us that having eggs with our breakfast would cost 60 additional Pesos. Absolutely scandalous! Not recommendable!

Super friendly staff during the day. However, the night shift totally ignored us when we texted them complaining about the room next door shouting and laughing put loud till 3am. It wasted my night. This is not unsual in hotels, so YMMV.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Had to book a cab early in the morning for a tour. The time for pick up kept changing. And the front desk was awesome in helping me. Highly recommend. Everything is within walking distance but if you need a cab it's easy to do. If and when I come back to Tulum I will def stay here again. Great for the price.

I stayed at room 201, toilet flusher won’t work properly and the guy at the concierge told me “to open and fix it, it’s easy. If you can’t fix that then we can send someone.” Also, I paid $13 extra for breakfast and they only served 2 pieces of toast bread 1 butter 1 strawberry jam, fruit, coffee and juice. Personally I don’t eat fruit in the breakfast. I prefer an egg but it’s extra cost. There is no cover at the balcony door for mosquitoes. Housekeepers are nice and clean %100 But concierge and management is weak.

We had a good stay at the Strabon for 5 nights. The hotel has a good location with a short drive or walk to most of the restaurants and amenities in the centre of Tulum. The rooms are large and kept very clean. The service form the lady working in the mornings wasn’t great - she said we didn’t have free breakfast on our first morning in the hotel so we left and found breakfast in a restaurant outside. It was later clarified this was.a mistake. Jasmine the lady working in the evenings was lovely and kind and helpful!
We had a good stay at the Strabon for 5 nights. The hotel has a good location with a short drive or walk to most of the restaurants and amenities in the centre of Tulum. The rooms are large and kept very clean. The service form the lady working in the mornings wasn’t great - she said we didn’t have free breakfast on our first morning in the hotel so we left and found breakfast in a restaurant outside. It was later clarified this was.a mistake. Jasmine the lady working in the evenings was lovely and kind and helpful!

Super friendly staff during the day. However, the night shift totally ignored us when we texted them complaining about the room next door shouting and laughing put loud till 3am. It wasted my night. This is not unsual in hotels, so YMMV.

I thought the grounds and vibe were really nice. It was so in large part from help from Ricardo and Mariel at the front desk. Also they followed up and were very helpful in getting my kindle shipped back the US for a good price.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at The Strabon. It's quaint and clean, and the ambiance is lovely. Plus, it's easy on the budget! The location is great too - walkable to Tulum Centro and lots of food options close by. What really stood out to us was the concierge service we received before and at the start of our trip. Prior to our trip, a concierge member reached out to me with details on how we can book transportation to/from the airport and a list of activities/excursions that they can book for us. We booked our transportation and took advantage of two of the excursions, and The Strabon helped us with it all which really took a lot of the planning off our plate. When we arrived, the concierge member helped us get settled and even offered to provide our breakfast early since we would be gone on our excursion during breakfast time our first 2 days. The friendliness and catering of the staff was the most memorable part of our stay.

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel avec chambre spacieuse avec balcon. Une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir dans un espace agréable avec de nombreuses plantes tropicales. La rue dans laquelle est située l’hôtel est par contre en terre et peu éclairée.

The accommodations immaculate, the services gracious and the place serene. On is immediately impressed by the plants, pruned and encouraged to grow in all the exterior spaces of this wonderful hotel so that one is always moving about and thru a carefully art directed jungle. Even getting to our ground floor room, to its marble terrace with it's contemporary iron-crafted wing chairs was an adventure. There's a little pool, a kind of conceptual cenote that's charming. Most of all, the staff is gracious and eager to assist and provide comfort, towels for the pool, beverages, a wonderful breakfast. It's a small well-maintained hotel. Located in the outskirts of town, one can easily get to shopping and restaurants either walking or by taxi. There's a superb French-inspired bakery just two blocks away. We felt safe in the neighborhood, which like most of Tulum town is undergoing aggressive development, but this hotel stands alone as a really nice establishment in which to stay and see this part of Mexico.

The hotel is not a 4-star as claimed. Most of the staff are good but the property has inherent issues that the staff cannot resolve. I stayed with my 2 kids and here's the issues: 1) Property is probably newly built in a new area. So the street is still a muddy road with lots of potholes. 2) The welcome was not warm at all 3) The room did not get hot water in the shower. Discussed this with various staff at least 5 times and they could not fix it. They offered to move us to a new room but that was the night before we were to leave. 4) the room had a muggy/damp smell in all the linens 5) bathroom was really poor: there was no spare toilet paper, there are no holders for soaps etc in the bathroom, the flush is very poor 6) the hotel says continental breakfast included. This is not what you get in all hotels out there. You get to choose from a couple of egg options or waffles/pancake. Either/or - was really really odd and this should be mentioned on the website. You get some sliced fruit. Basically it is a limited breakfast and not that you can help yourself to multiple servings of what you need. If you are unwell and feel like eating only fruits, you are out of luck! The staff seem to want to care but given all the above, they cannot do much about it.

É um hotel pequeno mas bem confortável. Quartos de bom tamanho e bem equipados, por um preço bem razoável. A localização é ruim - não é perto do centro e não tem muita coisa por perto. O estacionamento é na rua. O café da manhã é servido tarde (apenas a partir das 8h00), não é buffet e é bem simples.

I stayed at room 201, toilet flusher won’t work properly and the guy at the concierge told me “to open and fix it, it’s easy. If you can’t fix that then we can send someone.” Also, I paid $13 extra for breakfast and they only served 2 pieces of toast bread 1 butter 1 strawberry jam, fruit, coffee and juice. Personally I don’t eat fruit in the breakfast. I prefer an egg but it’s extra cost. There is no cover at the balcony door for mosquitoes. Housekeepers are nice and clean %100 But concierge and management is weak.

I cannot praise the staff at The Strabon enough. They were excellent, attentive, and kind. The homemade pineapple jam was delectable during breakfast. The only con would be the location. The streets getting to the Strabon are unpacked making for a bumpy ride from town

This is hidden gem in Tulum, it has a lot of charm. I go diving with Infinity2Diving and they are around the corner from this hotel. The staff is ver accommodating and friendly. The chef there is ready to serve you a great breakfast. I will definitely stay there for all my upcoming diving trips. Thank you Strabon!!

We had such an amazing stay at this hotel in Tulum the entire property was spotless from the rooms to the pool area, which made it feel incredibly relaxing and well cared for.
