The area outside isn’t glamorous, but when you inside these enormous wooden doors, it’s incredibly impressive how they used fauna to create a truly unique atmosphere. What I REALLY liked was walking a block towards the water and there was an incredibly charming street of endless restaurants and cafe’s which contrasts the main road through town and the hoity toity-ness of the high end hotel scene. It felt super comfortable and I am VERY glad I stayed at this hotel.

Very charming hotel. Upon arrival we decided to upgrade to one of the lofts, which was almost twice the size of our room. Considering the price difference it was a no-brainer. The staff has been very helpful with plenty of useful information for our stay. We visited different areas of Tulum, because we were also looking for some land to buy, and La Veleta has been the by far the best neighborhood we tried. We had a good feeling of safety at all hours, reason why we indulged in several walks to bars and restaurants. For those like us who are into yoga, the hotel is 5 minutes away from a very famous holisitc center.

Much more beautiful in person than in photos (they should invest more on that part, imho). Hands down the best hotel we stayed in in Mexico. Spacious rooms and furnished with good taste. Lush nature in the garden, complemented by a beautiful pool inspired by the shape of a cenote. All linens were white and crispy, and the bathroom spotless clean. Convenient location with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Excellent welcome from the staff, and best advices on activities, restaurants etc. I feel like we got some kind of black friday special offer because the price was pretty low for what we got, but I would definetely recommend it for the full price too.
