Spa was great!

The pool and bars closed extremely early. If you're looking for a resort with night activity, this isn't it.

Property was mostly clean, the sports complex was rundown and looked almost abandoned with minimal up keep.

I enjoyed my stay. The food was good and I am thankful I was always able to find vegan options at the buffet. The staff was very kind. The walkways around the rooms in building 3 that I was in could have been kept nicer. There was quite a bit of debris and some animal feces. The “party pool” will definitely give you some great music and entertainment, but be prepared to see ‘it all’. Besides that, overall it was beautiful and I am one to enjoy a different resort each time I travel, but would highly recommend for an adults only resort.

King room was always immaculate, friendly staff, enjoyed the buffet - breakfast, lunch and dinner —and the restaurants. The evening entertainment was one of the consistently best I’ve seen at an all-inclusive resort. Performers were attractive, well rehearsed and polished, costumes were nicely executed. Disco theme was lots of fun, all the performers contributed to an entertaining show that night because they were also having fun. The Mask was a stand out.

Our Junior Suite was well appointed with a mini fridge, hair dryer and coffee maker. The king bed was very comfortable with firm pillows. The highlight of the trip was the staff. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Israel is amazing and will call you by name! I like Modelo which is good because it’s the only beer they offer. My one suggestion would be to get a better selection of cerveza. The pool bars are all great and the “party pool” as we called it had great activities. If that’s not your thing, the pool closer to the ocean is much more chill and has a bar as well. Restaurants were great but there is a dress code for them, except the buffet. I will definitely return to this resort.

Nice, clean resort. Good food options with nightly entertainment. Customer service is good at times and not so good at times. Halls and corridors are somewhat loud at night and early mornings. There are 2 small pools, the others they are counting must be the rooms with the swim-ups. That said, there are very limited pool Chairs and they are taken up very early. Towels are delivered in your room. There is no towel stand. Overall, it’s a pleasant resort and we would stay here again.

The property was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I was very disappointed that we could not use the beach. The smell was horrific. Not the hotels fault. My only complaint was that the gym was closed 3 of the 7 days that we were there, only 2 of the 4 restaurants were open each day and there wasn’t any prior warning as to which ones would be closed. The mosquitos were unbearable. Music was in the outside plaza and the mosquitos feasted on everyone. 😁. The outside plaza has no overhead fans so it was very hot sitting in there while being bit by mosquitoes. Would definitely go back to this resort but not in the summer.

Staff here are exceptional. Our Bellhop, Flavio, always checked in to ensure we had everything we might need. Umbertto, Ramses, and Luna were so much fun and led great pool activites....the nightly shows were fantastic. We always sat in Alberto's section in the buffet, he always had our usual drinks at the ready and shared some great laughs with us as we tried (and failed many times) to learn more Spanish. There will always be room for improvement at any establishment, but if the staff can make you forget about minor inconveniences and keep you smiling, its worth the trip every time.

The overall condition and upkeep of the resort. It wasn't any one thing but a lot of little things that spoke to the resort needing a complete renovation. Decor pieces that had seen better days, walkways in a state of ill repair (very uneven and broken down concrete), chairs with cloth 'banding' that were dirty and in need of replacement, etc. I will say that the shortfalls of the resort were balanced by the extraordinary staff, service and great food

Outdated! Entire property needs renovations. From the 2 person elevators that look and sound unreliable, to broken tiles, smelly rooms and grimey floors. The bridge to the beach has caution tape in many places. Beach loungers are terrible and need to be replaced. Sewer odors near the beach and pool. Our group agreed we will never visit a Princess property again.

Food: I don’t think we ate anything that we didn’t like (and man were we ever eating)! The 5 course meals at the restaurant made us feel fancy and it was a cool experience. The buffet had a great selection as well and had staff with different stations (omelette, smoothies, pasta, steaks). Food was a 100/10 Rooms: our room smelt like mildew the whole time and nothing ever actually dried in it, plus the mirrors had mold. I would stop noticing once I’d been in the room for a while, leaving the patio door open helped. Everything being constantly damp was not nice but the beds were comfy, the rain showers were nice and there’s lots of space for all your stuff. Rooms would be a 6/10 Other: pools & beach were amazing!! It was quick to get drinks and they have lots of activities going on. The entertainment staff were always giving their all and made our experience a lot more fun. They also have lots of companies for excursions at the resort. We had booked snorkelling and Tulum before leaving but next time we would just book while we were there. They also have a shuttle ($5USD) that takes you right to downtown playa. My only other note would be for more “please don’t feed the wildlife” signs. There’s lots of coatis and raccoons around and they were obviously well fed by tourists. I saw many people walking around with food and feeding them and I found myself having to explain the harm in this quite a few times. This isn’t the resorts fault obviously but more education would be good.

Clean rooms, clean spa and pool area. I really enjoyed the property adults only but not to much of a wild party more leveled

The rooms were clean, there were some issues with humidity and some mold in some places but overall it was good in the atmosphere we were in. The entire place was nice and everyone was friendly for sure. We are considering to come back again.

The resort could do better letting guests know what activities are going on, liking putting notices in the room or having a channel dedicated to the resort with information. Also possibly a map of the resort where everything is located as well. About the rooms, definitely could use more lighting and a full length mirror.

Nice room with swimout pool area. Room was a bit dated but still comfortable. Food at the restaurants were all very good.

Only problem we had was that the ac wasn't working since the day we got therecwhich was on Thursday. They would send someone to fix it but ac still wouldn't work. It didn't get fixed til late Saturday night which stoll didn't work right.

The room was big and beautiful. There was a slight water leak in my room but the staff was constantly working to fix, maintain, and update unused rooms. The staff was all great and very accommodating, including the cleaning staff, who took care of everyone.

Cleaning staff wouldnt allow me in my room to retrieve luggage Hot tub leaking and broken balcony door lock even after they fixed it

It was good, a solid 3/5. The sofa bed in my room looked broken so that was weird

At first i thought it was fine. Staff seemed nice and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I was travelling alone but meeting up with friends who were staying in an AirBnB in PDC. So on my third of four nights, one of them decided to stay with me. I had thought that I could add him to my reservation without a ton of issue. Neither of us were trying to "sneak in" or do anything of the sort! However, upon getting to the security at the front, we were treated like TOTAL CRIMINALS. Past that, we were extremely upfront about my name, my room number, that we was my guest and we were headed STRAIGHT to the lobby to get him signed in and added. I never expected to not be charged, nor did he. BUT WOW, I mean the hoops they put us through when trying to legitimately add him to my room. You would think that we had done something, anything, to give the impression that we had some sort of plan to rip off the hotel. The second night they made him check out and check back in again when I'd clearly stated when we got there that I was adding him for TWO nights. For the second night, they tried to hold his passport!! That's when I'd had enough and I guess my $530 for literally a day and a half was not sufficient. It's not just that they have their rules, I have stayed at many many all inclusives and I get that every guest needs to be paying to be there. It was the way we were being treated like TOTAL CRIMINALS that was just so disgusting and unwarranted!

The whole experience was amazing, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and there were many unforgettable people there who made our stay that much better! Javier the bellman, Eduardo our server at La Bruschetta, and Bryan from the Yucatan buffet are a few of the many people who made this trip so memorable.

Everything was wonderful. No complaints at all. Although lots of great staff, Israel the doorman was our favourite by far. Always welcoming us every morning when he saw us. Would definitely go back!

Don't use the Nexus tours transportation (the orange uniform). They are a scam. Also the staff was not friendly everyone was uptight especially the one's serving drinks. Its almost as if they dont want to be there and they are happy to show it.

We had an excellent stay. The staff were incredible. Everyone was friendly and help out with whatever we needed. The resort was clean and well taken care of. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Our standouts were Maxamillio at the front desk who was so helpful with our needs. Victor who cleaned our rooms and was always smiling and Germmey at the buffet who could not have been nicer! 10/10. Will be coming back.

Management was bad. Very rude and not at all accommodating. Workers were happy and fun. From the time we checked in the lady was very short with us and put our party of 30 people all over different buildings. We had to fight with her just to get us in the same area. Didn’t understand why we could not be together when most of the rooms had the doors open and were empty. Strange. Host at restaurants talked to us like we were kids. Will not be back.

The good: employees very friendly and courteous, good quality facilities and internet access. The bad: room service SUCKS!!! They act like they don’t want to service you and food arrives cold every single time plus selection is VERY limited, one of the times l order room service they didn’t even deliver it and l guess they noticed cause they called to ask and when l told him l never got my order he said he was going to check and l didn’t hear from him again so l ended up going to the buffet restaurant, Specialty restaurant are not open daily. Night show was cancelled and no notice was given. I have stayed at other resorts before and they had staff driving people around in golf carts 24-7 but not at this one. Is not convenient walking long distances to go eat or do anything. My bathroom had mold. Patio could’ve used a good swepping. Had to purchase a $1,600 pesos bottle to be able to make a “reservation” at one of the restaurants. Suppoused to be “All inclusive” but choices for drinks and food are limited or available for an extra charge🙄

Very well kept property. There was multiple instances where the all inclusive food service was very slow. Room service took over an hour several times. Not all restaurants were avaliable, availability shcedule couldnt be found.

This is our 3rd visit to this property and we will definitely be back! First and foremost, the staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and courteous! Lina at the front desk was a huge help when our flight was canceled and we had to change our booking. Big shout out to Brian, our favorite server during breakfast and lunch at the buffet! Always very attentive, friendly and fast:) Overall the property is very clean, food is great, highly recommend

So relaxing! The staff was very friendly, the grounds were maintained and very clean. Room service was wonderful the food options at the resort were great. Entertainment was so fun, something going on nightly. Just a short drive to downtown shopping. And Can’t wait to go back.

We liked the modern look of the property, the abundant wildlife (iguanas, deer, birds, etc.). The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Our room was very clean, and it had all the usual amenities, such as an iron and a scale to weigh your luggage upon departure. The entertainment was excellent, featuring a variety of activities. We had access to one of the sister properties, which opened up opportunities for additional dining options. They did have some vegan options at the buffet, but there could have been more choices at the restaurants. There was a very distinct difference between the adults-only and family properties. There were regular shuttles, $ 5 per person, to Playa Del Carmen's 5th Avenue shops. Overall, we had a great stay.

This was my first visit to a Princess Hotel. Boooed 48 hours before arrival due to the disaster that happened in Jamaica Check in and concierge service was friendly and very helpful. I travel as a wheelchair user. Accessibility for my wheels around the resorts was brilliant. Entrance to the swim up rooms would have been difficult for me due the the lack of handrails to make the first step down on to the platform where the handrails began. Obviously this would not concern an able bodied person. Luckily we were given a jungle view room which for us was fantastic. We were in 5015. We list peaceful and serene vies All the restaurants provided excellent food and dining experiences. We found the Asian restaurant to be too loud for us. We had sushi in the main buffer.

This is an amazing property. You feel so safe. It is big enough to offer many things but small enough that it is all walkable. This was my second visit to this resort. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Jovita one of the servers is so kind efficient and lovely to chat with. The entertainment staff is amazing and works so hard all day to keep everyone having fun especially Luna. The restaurant choices are decent but a few more options would be nice.

Very nice property. I will be back to stay again. It is a bit far from shopping and taxis are $24 each way but the resort was very nice and food was good as well as drinks

My room is in the quiet side of the resort, the food is OK and it’s pretty safe. You see some wild animals. The beach is not swimmable You need to walk for 5 minutes to the family resort if you want to swim in the beach, they have a lot of swimming pools I pretty much enjoy staying here.

The property was beautiful but huge and hard to navigate your way around. The shows all began at 10pm so we did not get to catch any of the shows. I was not aware that they required long pants and closed toe shoes for men at dinner so we had to go buy clothes just to go to dinner at the restaurants. It was a nice place but unfortunately it did not fit our preferences.

Some highlights: POSITIVES FOOD Buffet offers a solid mix of traditional dishes—great taco station and classic options. • Rodeo was a standout—top-notch sirloin; we ate there three times. • La Fleur: disappointing steak, but excellent octopus and pumpkin soup. • Italian: decent enough to visit twice (and I’m picky since I’m Italian!) • Aroma: average. • Japanese: least favourite—overly salty teppanyaki and poor sushi. • Vaqueria Grill: steak was a ground beef imitation—avoid. SERVICE Friendly, helpful staff. No aggressive timeshare pitches—refreshing change from other resorts! NEGATIVES COFFEE: Room and dining hall coffee is awful. Bar coffee is good but only available after 8am. BEACH EXPERIENCE: Constant interruptions from massage staff and vendors made it hard to relax. Repeated disturbances forced us to retreat to the pool for peace. DRINK SERVICE: Maybe because it was low season, but there was no service for drinks at the beach and barely any for at the pool. LACK OF SHUTTLE SERVICE: No included shuttle service to and from airport, needed to book own transportation.

Room was always cleaned. Staff provided excellent service. Unfortunately the food in the a la carte restaurants was poor but staff were excellent. Buffet food and service was exceptional. Pools towels were provided in room- 2 per day. Concierge had towels if there were none in room. Pool activities team were very good. Overall pleasant stay.

All of the food was very good. The staff was excellent. My reservation was messed up at the hibachi restaurant, and they rescheduled my party. They said i would get a complimentary bottle of wine but charged me for it anyway. I brought friends and family and asked for a swim out room near the quiet pool as my upgrade but was denied.

The food wasn’t great very bland or over all not tasty, the pool events were boring and dj playlist were outdated. Recommended to invest in darker chair covers, the white ones are very stained and unappealing. Room service was horrid, the pizza might as well be a pita bread pizza to sell the part, the burger must have been everything but beef.

Rooms were clean and the food was great, my only thing to complain about is all of the restaurants aren’t open. One is closed for the season and the others rotate which is open. The main issue here is that it is Competitive to get a reservation so they basically con you by forcing you to buy a bottle of wine to be able to make a reservation and eat.

From start to finish our stay was fantastico! Good food great tempanyaki, good service . First class experiences at the shows and clubs and a lovely beach.

Hotel needs upgrades. Lots of cosmetic issues. Buffet was not great and not all restaurants are always open which makes eating dinner in an all-inclusive difficult. Bars were great and so was staff. Entertainment was good. We had access to 2 other resorts but our resort didn't provide us any information on the other resorts. Online it 8s advertised that they have top shelf liquor but the best vodka they had was absolute. To me that is not top shelf. For beer you had one option. No other beer available. Probably wouldn't do an all inclusive again.

Nothing to eat during the day unless you wanted to go to the buffet. The drinks were awful. There were only two restaurants open at a time. The gentleman at the concierge was rude and acted as if he was inconvenienced if I asked a question. Shows/ music was only offered late in the evening. Other than that there were no activities other than the pool.
