Lovely Florentine building with a small outside courtyard where you could also eat breakfast. We booked our 50 minute Spa slot and it was great. We had the whole spa to ourselves. The young man at reception was very helpful unlike the young lady who did not seem to want to help with anything we asked. The hotel will offer you parking at 25euro a nigh. But there is a 24 hour car park just a few minutes walk away which Charges 15 euro. Also you can park for fee on a Sunday and after 8pm in a blue parking bay in the streets. Florence is not a driver friendly city. The historic centre is not open to non resident cars so be careful where you drive as you would get a fine if you drive through into those areas. The hotel breakfast was nice but very sloppy scrambled eggs with no option for an alternative. Rooms and linen very clean. You can walk into the city in about 20 minutes. If I returned to Florence I would stay again in this hotel.

We loved it!! Great location, easy to find, and the patio was so nice. We made friends each night sitting out there. And you can buy a bottle of wine from the lobby with a good selection as you enjoy the patio. The breakfast is well worth including, we paid for it and it was perfect. Great fresh selection.

Enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Lorenzo . Staff were friendly and helpful . The hotel felt special with high ornate ceilings , a beautiful staircase and high end decor . Our room was a classic double, it was quite small but had everything we needed. Closet space was limited but we managed. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a lovely range of toiletries . We had private use of the spa(one time) included in our package . The spa consisted of 2 jacuzzi’s, a steam room and sauna and was a lovely way to relax after a busy day . Breakfast was good with lots to choose from and the dining area was bright and airy . There was outdoor seating too which would have been perfect when the weather was warmer .

The staff was fantastic. We expected to have a "regular" room but were placed in the annex under the B&B formula; not bad since we could enjoy a great breakfast. The room wasn't exactly what we expected as it was in the modern structure built behind the main house: it wasn't bad, but it was a bit small for Americans, and there was some mold in the shower. It also smelled a bit moldy everywhere, possibly due to the old carpets. You have to walk 30 minutes to get to the city center, but it's a nice walk. Parking is available onsite in the backyard of the structure: it is narrow but very convenient since you do not have to walk a lot to get your luggage in and out. The overall house is stunning. We had no time to enjoy the spa, but we loved the "Acqua di Parma" products available in the room. Kudos to the staff again, very nice people!

spent 1 night at this boutique hotel and unfortunately it did not live up to the price tag of over €300 per night. The room felt poorly maintained, with scuffed doors and frames, and the bathroom had pests, which was very off-putting. Overall, the property did not feel fresh or cared for. We expected a much higher standard for this rate and cannot recommend it.

We liked the kindness of the staff and the quality of the service. Did not like the tiny room, the ridiculously tiny shower cabin, the smells (due to old and bad plumbing). Hotel is borderline far from the tourist interest points. I wish Michele Ugliani took a shower in this hotel before he asks people to believe this is a 4 star hotel. It is a 3 star at best.

The hotel was ok, clean and tidy but the annex area where I stayed had very little soundproofing- you could hear everything in the room next door and the main door slamming. The bed was quite hard too and also short (I’m 5ft5 and my legs were at the end). I expected to be in the main hotel as I hadn’t booked the annex but perhaps it doesn’t matter what you book. Breakfast was pretty poor and the food was clearly out all morning with no chilling or proper heat for eggs etc. location wise, an ok walk into central but a good 20 mins. A decent hotel but I wouldn't say 4 stars.

Travelled to Florence for my wifes 50th birthday. To make it special, i wanted to make sure the hotel was right. The hotel did not disappoint - immaculately clean, staff very helpful and chevk in easy. Beautiful room which had a view of the city. Breakfast was equally of a high standard with a great variety of options available. Staff again, were extremely attentive. We booked a 50 min slot in the spa - very n8ce after travelling. Only complaint here is the hot tub could have been hotter! Overall a fantastic stay - I would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again. 10 of 10.

The front reception staff, the housekeeping and the amazing breakfast spread and staff were all fabulous! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely view and balcony of the couryard below! The location was a 20 minute walk to city center, most points of interest, shops, restaurants and the transportation hub. We would definitely recommend and stay here again when back in Firenze!

Great hotel! We were a little uncomfortable at breakfast because the staff working the breakfast was staring at us the entire time we ate. Was visiting my daughter at the Pepperdine Campus Villa and the location of the hotel is perfect. It is literally around the corner from the villa. Nice .8 walk to the city center. Pharmacy, and a couple of delicious restaurants just down the block. The common area was wonderful to sit and relax to visit with friends and and staff is very attentive. Nice breakfast in the morning and complimentary snacks (croissant/cookies). They arranged taxis and even provided a boxed snack breakfast for our early morning flight which was very kind. It is comfortable, safe, and clean.

Subject: Feedback on My Recent Hotel Stay I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at the hotel. First, I believe the price of €296 per night is too high for the value provided; I think a rate of €150 would be more appropriate. Additionally, the atmosphere during breakfast was quite unpleasant. The staff seemed uninterested and appeared bored in the breakfast room, which detracted from the overall experience. While the spa facilities are impressive, their booking policy needs improvement. Hotel is in a great location, just far enough from the bustle of touristy Florence, but everything was in easy reach. The spa was a nice bonus. We had to ask to move room. The first room has a very strong drain smell and the roller blind was broken (in the down position) so we had no light. Not great for a 3 night stay. Asked to be moved, said they would send maintenance. Asked again the following morning, they said they would send maintenance. When we came back the blind still broken so the new reception team immediately moved us. Totally different style of room, smaller, but big windows on to the garden and everything worked. Also, the breakfast was pretty basic for a 4-star hotel. Cheap ingredients and not a very big selection. However, we did enjoy our stay in Florence

However, the main shopping area and tourist sights are about a 20 minute walk away. I did find a bistro within a 3-5 minute walk that served food until midnight on a Saturday, Deposito Bagagli Bistró. The hotel is also a quick taxi or Uber ride to and from the train station. I would stay again.

This was a sweet place, more of a 3 star, than 4 star. Room was good, lots of sounds, not great room insulation, but you are staying in an historic building. Breakfast was awesome and staff was VERY kind and accommodating. It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo (about 25 minutes), I love walking so not an issue for me. It's in a very residential area right on the tram path, so can be convenient for some.

We stayed at Palazzo Lorenzo for 3 nights in July. I can’t fault this hotel. It’s quaint and very quiet mainly due to its location being on the outskirts of the city (15 mins walk) The T2 tram is nearby which brings you direct to the airport. Hotel staff were at hand if needed and breakfast had an extensive buffet choice no matter what your dietary requirements were. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were lovely. The breakfast was good too. We didn’t visit the spa but I wish we had. The coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Was only a short walk to the tram stop and not too long to walk into the city centre. Definitely recommend this place. It was far enough away that it was quiet but not too far away from the tourist attractions.

Die Schiebetüre wure bei 3 Nächten Aufenthalt nicht repariert. Sie liess sich keinen mm öffnen. Bei zwangen uns durch 1 Öffnung der re. Schiebetür, sehr unbequem. Weder die Reinigungskraft noch sonst. Personal gat sich gekümmert! Schade Beim Frühstück fehlte tägl.frisches Brot, nur jeden 2. Tag war das da. Keine Abwechslung bei Wurst + Käse Gebäck. Jeden Tag dasselbe. Da fehlt es noch an einigem Sonst wäre es das ein gutes Hotel, aber dafür etwas zu teuer, mind. 50 € zu teuer f.3 Nächte. Da einfach zu geringe Auswahl.

Igen et dejligt ophold på hotellet. Alt var fint. Dog en skam at der er gået på kompromis på morgenbuffeten. Sidst vi var der havde de lækkert skåret frugt, det var desværre erstattet med skåret dåsefrugt… rigtig ærgeligt og en dum beslutning. Der var et par andre ting på morgenbuffeten som bevar blevet markant dårligere. Dette blot fordi det var en af de ting vi huskede fra sidst.

The hotel was very nice however it’s worth noting there is no ac in the rooms and the mattress is quite thin and uncomfortable. Unfortunately we stopped going to breakfast due to morning staff personal hygiene. (Body odour) We didn’t feel comfortable enough to mention this at the desk at the time but on reflection we should have as this experience really tainted our stay, especially in the communal areas & whilst eating.
