Amazing stay. Breakfast fresh cooked every day at 7:30. Pool areas was fantastic, patio area was like an outdoor paradise. Monkeys above us, Iguanas around. Great stay.

This is the perfect hotel for staying in Tamarindo. It is an easy walk to everything in town, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the pool is a perfect spot to relax when the day is hot.

Great hotel. Off the main road a bit so it was very quiet and easy to get. Parking was easy. It’s a small hotel - 13 rooms so it’s quiet and relaxing. No loud parties. Check in is quick and they will walk you to your room. Breakfast is delicious - a small selection of 6 breakfasts but they are enough for any taste. Coffee is available all the time and Costa Rican coffee tastes amazing. Justin arranged for an excursion for us and he did excellent. He was attentive and courteous. One thing is to be aware of iguanas. They are everywhere and at random times.

We stay there just for one night. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the property. Everything was nice and we were comfortable. The front desk guy was very polite and explained everything to us and walked us to the room. The bar-restaurant and pool looked very nice.

We stayed for four nights at the beginning of a 10-day visit to Costa Rica. We were looking for somewhere walkable to town and the beach, but with a pool where we could relax in the shade reading in the hot afternoons. Arco Iris was perfect! We stayed in room #2 - one of the individual cabinas with a covered porch and hammock. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom and dressing area, excellent AC, and perfect porch for watching birds and monkeys. Daily breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Lots of options (I think we tried them all!), coffee available all day, a cold water dispenser, and so much space to sit and chill - shade or sun. The pool was refreshing and always clean, and the vibe was super chill. Highly recommend and would be at the top of our list if we return to Tamarindo.

Well kept and beautiful looking property a short walk from Tamarindo city and beach. Super friendly staff and very well kept property. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious!! Pool is on the smaller side, but never had more than 2-3 people at it. Never had a problem getting parking. Room is very clean and well maintained, air con worked great and bathroom was very nice. Area around the hotel is mainly housing and small hotels, but super easy access to downtown Tamarindo through the back walking path. Not at all a beach hotel, but an easy 10 minute walk gets you anywhere you need to be - including the beach! Never had any issues with noise, day or night. Would definitely stay here again if back in Tamarindo!

It really made you feel like you were in the jungle of costa rica, as corny as that sounds. The iguanas were so cute and the staff was very accommodating. Everyone there was soo polite. The rooms could be updated painting wise and filling in some cracks but it was an overall great place tp rest after a days outing. To keep out ants insulating the doors could help. The breakfast was AMAZING, and left me wanting more. The beach is within walkable distance and so are souvenir shops/restaurant. This is the most convenient stay I ever had.

Mi gusto que es pequeño y tranquilo, el personal es muy amable, el desayuno es muy buen y la piscina tiene muchas áreas con sombra. Tuvimos problemas con el agua caliente, costaba regular la temperatura y las llaves del baño estaban en mal estado, por lo demás todo estuvo excelente.

Our room was immaculate and absolutely lovely! Our single bungalow had a hammock as well. Beautiful setting close to many wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning which was included. Spent 11 days at Hotel Acro Iris and highly recommend it. Christian is a conscientious waiter who does an excellent job. Carlos one of the concierges went way overboard to help us and ensure our stay was perfect. He is a wonderful and extremely polite young man!!

Very nice hotel, central but far enough from the bars and clubs, which ensures a very quiet environment, especially at night, which is great. One minor recommendation would be to reinforce the fumigation. In my bungalow, there were quite a few small ants (mainly in the bathroom, but I found a couple in the bed) and a few “zompopas”.

We had a great time staying in our bungalow at Hotel Arco Iris! The staff was super friendly and accommodating for our entire stay. The bungalow felt like our own little piece of luxury, and the hotel is located close to downtown Tamarindo but is a short walk away which gives it a nice sense of privacy.

✨ My experience at Hotel Arco Iris was fantastic! The rooms were very clean and came with a wonderfully spacious king-size bed. The pool is in the central part of the property right off the lobby / restaurant / Hangout spot...and 24/7 coffee bar. The only unique aspect, which isn't a fault of the hotel, is the howler monkeys – they can be loud in the early morning, but for me it was comforting & *usually* there's enough time in between howls to fall asleep. Ha! The hotel staff was super friendly - I had a few hours to spare after checkout and before I needed to head to my next destination, and they stored two pieces of my luggage, one very oversized, at no cost. When I have such a pleasurable state at a place like this, It really makes or breaks it trip to a new city...& The Hotel Arco Iris is definitely a big reason why I will be coming back to Tamarindo. Pura Vida 🤙🇨🇷

Everything about my stay was wonderful! From pre-arriving, to helping me book transportation to from the airport, to check-in, this stay really enhanced my trip. The breakfast is incredible! The coffee is amazing. Freddie our breakfast server was delightful. Justin at the front desk is super helpful and his positive energy is continuous. Thanks for the tips on the coffee and attention to detail through every interaction. I wish i was staying here longer but will definitely spread the word. I loved the pool! And rooms are super clean and met all my needs.

The staff was wonderful and they helped book some activities for us. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. Luis with the breakfast staff was super sweet and knowledgeable about things to see and do in Tamarindo as well as La Fortuna. Justin at the front desk was great too. I have To say the housekeeping staff impressed me most though. My sister accidentally left $500 on her bed and the housekeeper tucked it in her bed covers to keep it safe. Such a wonderful and honest establishment!

Juan Carlos, the concierge for Hotel Arco Iris is an absolute GEM of a human being! He made our stay and the days leading up to our arrival even more than we could’ve expected. It was great having transportation set-up upon our arrival by the hotel! The property is beautiful, cozy & feels like home away from home. Breakfast with server Freddy was always a plus! He is kind, attentive & thoughtful in his approach to service. Big hugs to the kitchen staff who made such delicious breakfasts! Richard, the owner of the hotel is an active participant in the day-to-day operations & it was great seeing him interact with his guests and staff. Beds/pillows are comfy, showers were squeaky clean, pool & drinks were fabulous! Housekeeping team is awesome. I’ll definitely be back!

Staff was extremely kind, room and properly were great. Steven was an excellent server at the restaurant, remembering the guests names and being very helpful. Henry was also a great help in assisting securing a shuttle to the airport. Friendly people and a beautiful property. I’d highly suggest staying here!

Solo female traveller review. Everything was wonderful. The staff is awesome and took care of everything I needed. Juan Carlo and Steve always went above and beyond. Great little cabannas with comfy bed and pillows, great air con and a nice large shower. Lovely grounds and a nice pool with plenty of places to lounge and relax. Proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach was great!! I really enjoyed the rest and relaxation I came for and will definitely stay here again!!!

Our room was immaculate and absolutely lovely! Our single bungalow had a hammock as well. Beautiful setting close to many wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning which was included. Spent 11 days at Hotel Acro Iris and highly recommend it. Christian is a conscientious waiter who does an excellent job. Carlos one of the concierges went way overboard to help us and ensure our stay was perfect. He is a wonderful and extremely polite young man!!

My stay here was amazing - I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Tamarindo! As a solo traveller I felt safe and the hotel is in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the main street and to the beach, yet a bit removed so it is quiet in the evenings so you can rest. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. They helped me book all my excursions and transfers for a seamless experience. The accommodations and facilities are clean and well maintained, and the free coffee/tea/filtered water station are a nice touch. Their breakfast was also so delicious and a really relaxing way to start the day - definitely add it on!

We absolutely loved this hotel from check in to check out and everything in between. It was close to the action, but far enough to where you didn't have to deal with noise. The back gate to the "alleyway" directly to central road was absolutely perfect so you didn't have to walk down the rocky dirt road near the front entrance. The front desk was always friendly and readily available for any requests we may have had. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. Breakfast here is fantastic too. 100% recommend this hotel and I hope to return soon!

Nous avons aimé notre séjour car l’emplacement était très bien, tranquille, dans la végétation, proche d’un marché, des restaurants et boutiques. Le personnel est vraiment serviable! Le déjeuner à la carte était aussi très bon et varié! Il y a un stationnement disponible pour le véhicule de location, ce qui est pratique. De plus la plage était environ 10 minutes à pied. Donc on peut facilement allier la plage et la tranquillité de l’hôtel et de sa piscine! Nous recommandons l’établissement sans hésiter!

Well kept and beautiful looking property a short walk from Tamarindo city and beach. Super friendly staff and very well kept property. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious!! Pool is on the smaller side, but never had more than 2-3 people at it. Never had a problem getting parking. Room is very clean and well maintained, air con worked great and bathroom was very nice. Area around the hotel is mainly housing and small hotels, but super easy access to downtown Tamarindo through the back walking path. Not at all a beach hotel, but an easy 10 minute walk gets you anywhere you need to be - including the beach! Never had any issues with noise, day or night. Would definitely stay here again if back in Tamarindo!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Felt like in a guesthouse. Location is 15 mins walk from the beach and all the restaurants and shops. The road is not done though- no side walks. But at the end it didn’t matter. The peacefulness of Tamarindo took over and after a week we didn’t want to leave. Great breakfast, although I felt the lack of green/vege salads option.

Everything about my stay was wonderful! From pre-arriving, to helping me book transportation to from the airport, to check-in, this stay really enhanced my trip. The breakfast is incredible! The coffee is amazing. Freddie our breakfast server was delightful. Justin at the front desk is super helpful and his positive energy is continuous. Thanks for the tips on the coffee and attention to detail through every interaction. I wish i was staying here longer but will definitely spread the word. I loved the pool! And rooms are super clean and met all my needs.

We really enjoyed staying here. Everyone we met was so friendly. The free breakfast was fantastic! Lots of great choices. The location is walking distance to the main town and beach. Took less then 5 minutes to walk with lots of great restaurants in the area. The hotel atmosphere was very relaxing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great boutique hotel minutes away from all of Taramindo’s hot spots. Bed was comfortable. Room and property were kept clean. Not many options for breakfast but the meals I had were great. Pool was clean and refreshing. Staff were personable. Would stay again.

We stayed in three different hotels in Costa Rica for this week-long trip and this was by far the best. Though the rooms were a bit more expensive than the others, this was justified by the amenities. Rooms were nice, water was hot. And the breakfast, which is included, was a full made-to-order breakfast that would make any restaurant proud. Juan Carlos made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend.

We think a cooked to order breakfast is a great way to start the day! Then ten minutes to the beach until lunchtime and the day’s heat sent us back to the hotel pool to cool off and read with a cold beverage. Easy walk downtown for dinner and a comfy cool bed to return to.

First time to Costa Rica and Arco Iris really went above and beyond to help me with shuttles to and from the airport and helping me navigate where to go! Breakfast in the morning was a 10/10, if you like pancakes I highly suggest them!! Steven is such a wonderful person and I looked forward to seeing him in the morning, always happy and singing and never let my orange juice glass go empty … the orange juice is incredible!!! I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay! I travelled alone and felt completely safe. 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants are super close!

The Arco Iris is a charming hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast included was cooked to order and always delicious. The fresh juice and coffee were great. The pool and surrounding lounging area was very quiet and comfortable. In all, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay and a good value while visiting Tamarindo.
