Room was very clean and the ac worked great. No excessive dust/allergens, was able to sleep comfortably. The beds are full size (not queen) so it’s a little on the smaller side. The surrounding area is very peaceful and you can easily walk to dining/shopping and it’s a short drive to A&M. Clean pool and lobby is stocked with incidentals such as food and medicine. Great place to stay on a budget without compromising on comfort or safety.

Needed 1 night between a cruise and when family was coming into College Station for parents weekend. The facility is clealy older, but still in pretty good shape. The room was clean. Tile floors versus carpet (I get it at that pricepoint and age). Biggest issue was that there were clearly people living there. There was furniture outside, grills chained to posts, personal effects in front of rooms. Not a great look. Worst was panhandling at the facility. Very friendly people...non threatening...but looking for handouts.

The outside of building very poor conditions: unsafe stair way under construction but open for use, pool not available for use but construction workers sitting around it until 11:00 pm, walkways badly chipped and cracked were a hazard. Inside: room initially smelled like smoke, but clearly marked as non smoking, room was basically clean, but only had 2 working outlets exposed to use we had to unplug clock to use, mirror was crooked. We NEVER got a full supply of towels with housekeeping, nor were coffee cups replenished. The hair dryer cord has only 18 inches of use making it VERY DIFFICULT to use. Parking VERY limited due to construction. Construction was not disclosed when reservation was made. I will never stay here again

Front desk staff was very courteous when we checked in. The next morning my daughter broke out in hives. When we returned to the room late that night my daughter started sneezing again so we searched the room and found mold under the mattress. When we advised the front desk we were told sorry. That was it. Very disappointed.

Disgusting room with bugs in bathtub, behind toilet, bathroom walls and sink. Mattress was springs with a bit of fabric over. Not exaggerating. Strange characters hanging out drinking in back side of building. NEXT TO A CEMETERY!!! Didn't see that on the website. Requested refund since I was traveling with my 13yr old granddaughter and didn't feel safe or comfortable. Waited 20 min in my car for manager to find me another room before I decided it was more important to get my granddaughter to a safe comfortable place. I will still be pursuing my refund. I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again.

The room was very clean, freshly painted, and the bedding seemed new. It’s not 5 star but the price was right and it was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and efficient.

The property was close to the venue that I went to that night at Reed arena. My only complaint is that the wi-fi was inadequate in that the streaming movie I was watching on my laptop had severe buffering problem.

Front desk staff was fantastic and very helpful. The only real issue we had was that the mattress was caved in right down the middle so we literally slept squeezed into a hole. Room 161 is to be avoided!

A little older property that has had some recent renovations. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable, but the pillows left a bit to be desired. They were either so thin you fell flat to the bed or so over stuffed that your head was left at a very weird angle.

This is a really good bang for your buck option. One of the cheaper hotels in college station and the room was clean and had no bugs, unlike motel 6 across the street. Only downsides are the loud AC and the rooms being outdated. Smells like an old hotel room. But for the price, it was a great option and I would definitely stay here again.

The desk person was one of the best I have encountered. I apologize for not remembering the gentleman's name. He was welcoming and kind. He even made restaurant suggestions. When we had trouble getting a signal on our TV, he came very quickly to set things right. We only stayed one night, but I would have been happy to stay longer with such good service.

For the cost its a good place to stay. Near lots of food places in walking distance. Thin walls. They have updated the place but still and older building. Hot water and good water pressure and towels a step above a Motel 6. No streaming TV.

It was fine for the night we stayed, considering the price, and we had limited options since a lot was going on in this area during the time we were there. The area around it had a lot of construction and wasn't overly pretty, but again, for a one-night stay with limited options, it was fine. Not a complaint, as much as just trying to give an honest review. I would say some areas were old and dated, and could have used small repairs/updates.

The stay was damn great for making the reservation during the Aggie baseball game. I had searched all week for decent priced rooms and they were ALL $150+. I waited to game day and found this for $71. Very damn good for the price. 7 min from Olsen field. I’ll be staying again when in College Station for any sporting event.

The room was perfect, very very clean, air conditioning worked great. Had microwave and mini fridge !! Bed was a little hard but for one night wasn't bad. My only complaint was they did NOT OFFER any type of breakfast at all - NOTHING !! Other than that - I highly recommend this hotel.

The motel was clean, quiet at night, and had good service. The front desk clerk was very nice, and came to our room quickly to fix a minor problem with the TV. There was no breakfast, but they had coffee in the morning in the lobby.

I stayed here for two nights; one of the first things I noticed when I walked into the room was a dead cricket on the floor; imagine my surprise when it was still there the next day after housekeeping had come. The neighborhood is fine, lots of dining options within walking distance.

Even if the reputation of this Inn was not good, I saw the several reviews which were uploaded recently. I believe their recent reviews and yes they are right. Very clean even if old but they seem like maintaining decent conditions for all of the stuffs. But just building looks old. Everything inside of room is perfectly managed such as hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, air conditioner and iron. Bath tubs and toilet are also clean. Oh in addition, there are several Corean cup noodles such as SinRamyun as a couple of dollars with free hot water and the coffee in the lobby was good when I added some milk besides of coffee pot. I regretted I didn’t leave tips.

To begin with , the address provided is not correct. I was able to check in a bit earlier which was great . I was handed a a goodie bag at check in , which had a few snacks and 1 bottle of water . The room was overall clean , AC unit worked great but the TV is small and the toilet in restroom was noisy most of the time with water issues. There was no breakfast, only coffee and a lemonade available. I expected breakfast, at the least some cereal or pastries. I make it a point to book a hotel with breakfast, for the price paid . I will book elsewhere next time .
