Piergiorgio Palace Hotel

Sehr gut gelegen aber leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die hier abgebildeten Superior Zimmer gibt es nicht! Es gibt nur Standard Zimmer oder Apartments. Die abgebildete Kitchenette gehört zu den viel teureren Apartments!! Die Standardzimmer sind aber groß, einfach eingerichtet und die Betten sind sehr hart. Das Frühstück ist immer gleich und spätestens am dritten Tag wirds langweilig. Omlett oder andere einfache Dinge können nur gegen Aufpreis bestellt werden. Viele Gäste bringen ihr eigenes Brot mit, da das Buffettoastbrot, -es gibt nichts anderes, sehr trocken ist. Es stehen nur sechs Liegen am Pool, leider fast immer belegt und viel zu wenig. An den Wochenenden finden fast immer private Feiern (Hochzeiten,Geburtstage usw) statt. Dann wird es sehr laut und ungemütlich. Trotzdem würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen wenn der Preis passt, denn die Lage ist einzigartig.

Right on water so beautiful location. No amenities. Food not good. Room is terrible. Facility is terrible. Old, outdated place. Needa major repairs and upgrade.

The hotel is a lot more run down than the pictures suggest, however it was very clean and the hotel staff were very kind. You might want to bring your own towels because they have a shortage. The onsite restaurant is absolutely terrible. Food is overpriced and not cooked as described on the menu. Eating at the restaurant was my biggest regret on this trip. Excellent views also. Pool area was a bit dirty but it was also very busy with people at the time.

The architecture is outstanding. Maintenance is behind. Nice ocean views from rooms. On Sundays they have a self service for buffet which is awful, rest of the week breakfast is served and good.

Vintage appearance gives character & charm Absolute breath taking view from outdoor restaurant & ocean side rooms 1st nite stayed in ocean side room Had grandmas house feel Sadly overflowing toilet leaked down into bathroom leaving unbearable odor Shower and bathroom were nice and big Moved 2 room on 2nd floor of inside area that had balcony & nice view over looking pool area w ocean view in far background This bathroom was not as big but had a bidet I preferred the longer walk 2 the 1st room than the stair climb of the 2nd View from 1st room couldnt be beat Free breakfast equal to other 3 hotels Ive stayed @ in Sosua Wood fired pizza was by far best pizza in all of DR Id actually buy in America I will try another hotel my next stay but will definitely b back 4 the pizza Although I felt safe minimal security and is located @ a dead end of a long dark quiet street  Everything 2 enjoy in Sosua is within walking distance but a little further than the other hotels  Felt safe walking dim lit street Wouldnt want my lady to walk alone  Witnessed bushes being trimmed & pool area beautiful but this hotel is a bit warn down as an abandoned pool table sits out in elements, a 2nd swimming pool looks to have been out of order for decade, the lights climbing large staircase didnt work @ night & years of wear & tear & neglect make it unsafe for children and drunks near ocean Giving 5* which is what I gave other 3 hotels  Would happily stay again Unique place best view & pizza Most quiet

The Piergiorgio is a beautiful hotel in an incredible location! The hotel is older but there were workmen there cleaning and painting the whole time we were there. Yes, the mattresses are firm but I found them to be very comfortable. The sheets and bedding are not new, but they were clean. The grounds are meticulously kept, and the pool is very clean. Many of the staff have limited English but they were always friendly and helpful. There are plenty of breakfast choices and most are served with fresh fruit. The staircase and the hotel entrance are beautiful. The hotel is located on the cliffs overlooking the ocean and offers incredible views. There is a short 7-to-10-minute walk to the beach or the town. A car is not necessary. If you are going to Sosua, this is the place to stay! The price is very reasonable. I loved it!

Although this property is dated, they are slowly repairing things. Overall, my husband and I enjoy staying there because the staff is very nice and the view is spectacular. The winding staircase when you first walk in is a work of art!

Aesthetically the hotel is amazing. It has excellent views awesome pool. The free breakfast was was awesome. Location was great. the things that messed it up was the room. This must've been the worst room on the property! first off. It had no refrigerator. OK no big deal. We were there for one night but on top of that shower was leaking all night and you can hear it. No chair no table nothing in the room just the bed and the television, I paid for two rooms. The other room that we had, did have all of the following things that I just listed. Went to the front desk to see if they would rectify the situation, and they were unwilling to do so. Had the room been up to par this would've been awesome gem.

Locatie is super. Op loopafstand van het strand en het centrum straatje. Mooi uitzicht over zee vanuit het hotel en de kamer. Helaas is het hotel zo gebouwd dat het grandeur moet uitstralen, maar het is ontzettend verwaarloosd. Zwembaden waren niet schoon en werden ook niet echt gebruikt. De prijs was daar dan wel naar, dus een budget verblijf met de basis benodigdheden maar geen luxe stay.

Our room had smudges of multiple unknown things on the wall. There were cobwebs in the shower and the toilet seat wasn’t attached to the toilet. The doors all stuck and the French door glass had white paint all over it. It may have been a nice property at one time but is in need of some significant upkeep to make it right.

Very safe, clean, older facility, needs some tender loving care. What you might expect in Sosua for the price. Great location and terrific views.

I switched 3 different rooms because the curtains, pillows, sheets, bathroom sink was covered in mold! Very small rooms, no phones! finally, the third room was OK. My kids were afraid to take a shower. The locks on the door was very flimsy.

Hard beds cant sleep horroble tv couldnt watch most of the time young man at night was very helpful in getting tv to occasionally work older lady for breakfast with glasses seems to have attitude issues but place was nice

The staff is great but the hotel is in dire need of renovations. Everything is outdated and the walls are thin. I was on the first floor and I wasn't able to sleep because of all the noise from guest coming back to the hotel in the middle of the night. I had to wait 3-hour to get towels for my room. The best part of the hotel is the Ocean view and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

The hotel view was nice, but they gave me a room with the toilet block.. patio door lock had to be changed and they say they have wifi.. never worked in the room .. over all the staff was quite pleasant.

Good location - off of the busy streets but close enough to walk anywhere (Banco popular, Playa Alicia cerca) Good air conditioning, hot water, a little bit outdated but still beautiful with a gorgeous view. Nice pool and I could sit at the restaurant all day and work from my computer. I only ate breakfast here which was included and was solid :) I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in Sosua

I was really expecting more, the room was outdated the beds were very hard, the wifi in the room was not working. The food was decent not great but not bad.

It was a beautiful older property, need to upgrade the locks on room doors. Somewhat hard to unlock at times

This is a very old hotel/property, needs severe renovation. Locals might enjoy it for its antique look but this place would not be a comfortable stay for international folks. The room was very outdated. The furniture rickety and old, dusty looking. The bathroom was below average needing an upgrade on all fixtures. The shower head was missing and water would not reach a hot temperature. The fridge barely stayed closed. We spent one night only and moved to another place the next day. The view overlooking the ocean from the hotel is the only good thing about this place.

The staff amd service are wonderful! Its a beautiful venue with gorgeous scenery and in a great spot. Waking distance from 2 beaches and lots of good food and nightlife around.

They didn't have the room we booked available, we requested a superior room with an ocean view with 2 queen beds, and they only had rooms with 1 king bed, so we had to take a standard room that had 2 beds. The food is good, but the service is slow.

The Piergiorgio Staff was particularly kind and friendly. The hotel is extremely well located with only a short walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants. I had a great time and I would recommend it to those looking for an inexpensive, fun, getaway. 😊

They need to prepare the employees, to be more profesional, service is very bad, I never go back there. The place is beautiful, but the service is bad.

What a dump!! Nice location with views, but poorly maintained, dirty, shower was a dribble, bed like sleeping on a board, mediocre food, terrible service, very noisy all day and late into the night, and staff that really don’t care. I asked to get my room changed twice and was ignored. You can do better for less, the pictures don’t match the dilapidated condition of the property. Avoid this.

I had an ocean front view and it was amazing! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. There were a few glitches upon arrival, however the hotel staff promptly corrected each one. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Aunque el hotel tiene un estilo unico voctoriano y tiene mucho potencial, peeo le falta acondicionamiento en las instalaciones. Lamentablemente por inconvenientes en el camino con nuestro vehiculo, al llegar al hotel, hicimos late check out, la atencion de la recepcionista no fue para nada agradable. Quizás se estaba entrenando, pero no nos dio las informaciones requeridas. Cada pregunta que le haciamos, respondia con "no se". El aire de las habitaciones estaba bien, pero las instalaciones estaban en muy mal estado. En lo personal, pienso que necesita más atención en los detalles, por ejemplo; articulos o elementos rotos, deben ser reparados o retirados. No teniamos toallas en las habitaciones, tuvimos que esperar a las 8 de la noche para adquirirlas, y aún estaban mojadas. A la hora del desayuno, las mesas no estaban limpias, y la atención al cliente no fue satisfactoria. Ojala piedan tomar este comentario en cuenta.

The Piergiorgio Palace Hotel is close to both Sosua and Alicia beaches and several restaurants and shops. Most rooms are older, but quaint. The on-site restaurant food is good. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The views of the ocean and sunsets are amazing. It would normally be a peaceful place to vacation, however; some of the employees tend to crank the music up so loud that it is annoying and hard to sleep at night, depending on where your room is located.

Victorian style hotel, great character, could use a bit of paint here & there but views are amazing & proximity to Playa Sosua & Playa Alicia us price is not to be beat!

La calidad/ precio del hotel es aceptable. Las comidas del restaurante es buena y la parrillada mejor, los precios muy adecuados y el desayuno que lo incluye en la tarifa es rico y variado. La vista de la bahia es preciosa. Si algún inversionista lo pone como en sus inicios es un lugar encantador.

What a beautiful, quiet, well kept property. Its located 5 to 10 minutes from everything you need in Sosua, and the staff is unmatched! Free breakfast made FRESH every morning with fruit and a smile. It's impossible to beat the sunset view from any room at the Piergiorgio since its located right on the edge of the island. I recommend the Piergiorgio to ANYONE who wants an amazing, safe, and accommodating stay.

I was really expecting more, the room was outdated the beds were very hard, the wifi in the room was not working. The food was decent not great but not bad.

The outside of the property is amazing with the view and plant gardens. The inside of the building is nice with the Victorian era but the beds ate uncomfortable. The kitchen is to slow with orders but i definitely would recommend the hotel to others!

Room wasn't cleaned before I arrived. The toilet was bone dry and did not work. I have stomach issues from the food I ate there. Seems like old food was served. I will not be back.
