We arrived around 11pm and left at 4:30am to catch our flight. The brief stay was perfect for our needs, the room was modern and clean. The reception was friendly and there is a pool table and table tennis if you want to chill out as well as a small bar for food and drinks.

Does what it says on the tin. A small, clean room which does the job to stay in the night before flying from the airport. Aircon was quite poor and room got warm through the night. The lifts are very poor and seem to do whatever they fancy. Bed isn’t the biggest and doesn’t really provide any luxuries but as a cheap option as a pre flight hotel it is fine.

The receptionist forgot to give or even offer the wireless code. When I went to the room, I did not realize that all wireless transmissions were blocked. I was too exhausted to go back down to the reception to ask about it, and, there was no phone in my room so that I could call for assistance. The end result is a Health and Safety issue. Not having a phone in the room and not having access to telecommunications, and, not being automatically given a code for wireless in a hotel mean that I could not call for help if I needed it. Incidentally, the food service was dreadfully slow and I had to remind the staff of my order for a pizza, and then again for my order of a dessert. It was not a Quick Bite to Eat. Everything was else was very efficient.

Stayed here for one night for the last Oasis gig at Heaton Park. Great little hotel for the price. Rooms are small but perfectly formed, very clean, and surprisingly comfy beds. Nice reception area with a brilliant ‘auto snack bar’ vending machine set-up. Easy to get an uber to Heaton Park (cost c£20 one way and c£35 coming back afterwards). Would definitely stay here again when flying from Manchester. Only slight moan is that £25 for one night of parking is very steep, and wasn’t communicated to me until a day or so before our stay. I understand they have to put people off leaving their car there whilst on holiday, but just seems a bit over the top when the rooms only cost £100.

room was tiny and not very clean. There were hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor. we reported this to the manager who said there was nothing they could do as there was no cleaners available. The room was cheap but cleanliness in a hotel room should be a given.

First time here and as a couple with 2 bags plus carry ons no facility other than floor for opening suitcases. Bed access was ffrom 1 side only Maybe family type room for a couple and 1 or 2 children has more space. Limited food but suitable for 1 night before a flight. Ideal for T2. Likely try another option next time.

Stayed here on 3 occasions now and it's perfect for early morning flights. The rooms are small but have what you need. Don't stay here if you want space to walk around your room, if both people will want to easily get out of bed (one person will be sleeping against the wall) or if you have a lot of luggage. Do stay here if you want somewhere close to T2, where the staff are friendly and efficient, where it's a decent price and where there's a friendly communal space that serves food and drinks

I’ve stayed here before and found it really convenient. This is the first time I’ve paid for breakfast. Although the food was okay, plates weren’t cleared or tables wiped down. Reception staff stood around talking rather than dealing with this.

Check in was terrible. 11.45 at night. Been travelling for hours, huge queue to check in and one of only 2 staff decides to go and start serving at the bar while the other one ( who has already been dealing with the same person for 15 minutes) is left to deal with the ever growing queue. Absolute nightmare.

My husband and I had returneded to Manchester Airport following a thirteen hour flight from China, we were extremely tired and hungry. We went to order a pizza before going to bed, to be told at 3 minutes past ten that "I am sorry we stop serving food at ten o clock". I replied that I Had been waiting in the queue since 9.45 pm and due to only one person serving and taking so long it is not my fault. I explained we were hungry and tired, when the Manager came across and explained we stop serving at ten o clock but you could get something at the hotel across the road. I found him unreasonable and uncaring demonstrating no empathy for the need of his customers. I will not be using this hotel again.

Stayed at the hotel for one night. Was expecting noise from the airport but couldn’t hear anything. The continental breakfast is a small selection with not much on offer, although it was nice enough. The bedroom was clean and had everything you need. The bed was reasonably hard and slightly uncomfortable, but it was fine for 1 night. Hotel was nice. The Turkish restaurant in the holiday inn across the road was nice and the bar is a lot better than the one Ibis offer.

I ate at the Ibis Budget and timed my meal to order before 6pm to get the 15% off. To my disappointment the lady on reception said it was for the hotel across the road. The meal was very nice, however going back to my room there was a notice in the lift about getting 15% off. I took a photo of it. This is misleading customers. 15% off meals and drinks would help families. Please get in contact if you would like me to send the photo of the offer. Otherwise a very pleasant stay

Small but comfortable room. Perfectly adequate for an overnight at the airport. Decent bathroom and good sound conditioning. Basic continental breakfast, with plenty of cereals, pastries, cheese, ham, fruits, yogurts etc, which was good value. Very easy walking distance to the airport terminals.

This hotel is extremely close to terminal 2 but you cant hear any noise from the planes or traffic. You dont hear people on the corridors with cases either. The pizzas served here are excellent and although usually small the rooms are clean and have everything that you need. We have stayed here several times before a flight and will definitely do so again.

The room is very small but you get what you pay for. I was half board. The only choice was a pizza or lasagne. The breakfast grab and go was terrible. A couple of pieces of fruit on offer and a couple of pastries. There is a marks and Spencer in terminal 2 land side which had more appetising food on offer
