TownePlace Suites by Marriott Oshkosh

Several issues: 1) bathroom shower was not handicapped. There was only one safety bar, a considerable distance from the shower head. The floor of the shower was rather slippery and the office said that they are not provided any type of maths to make this a safer unit. 2) cleaning lady did not not replace in room coffee. Only changed the beds once. The top sheet did not fit the bed.! It appeared that it was a queen size sheet on a king's size bed. Laundry facility was fantastic. Breakfast was very good..

My 2.5 year old and I stayed for a night before seeing family after a long flight. We were able to snuggle right in with a warm shower and then wake up for pool time at 6AM and breakfast at 7AM. We were so happy with all of it- simple, clean, happy and cleanly people and surroundings. It felt like home.

Overall I would stay there again. I was here for a work trip and the room was bigger than expected with a separate bedroom and a nice sitting area and half kitchen. It was super convenient and there was lots of parking. The only complaint is when I pulled back the sheets I found a black hair that was not mine, but again overall I would return.

Loved the swimming pool. Wish there was a hot tub included.

The staff was great! The room was a nice size. Not crowded at all and new. The gym/pool were excellent and plenty of food places in walking distance. Downtown is neat and 8 minutes away by car. 20 minutes to Appleton and Fon Du Lac and 45 to Green Bay. Highly recommend!

Excellent amenities, spacious clean rooms, great breakfasts and staff, fantastic fitness room equipment. There is a nice pool, note the maximum depth is 4-1/2 feet, there is no hot tub. We stayed 14 nights and must mention that the bed was not comfortable for us. Was not soft or plush. I asked if they might have a foam mattress cover available, but they did not. Other than the bed, we loved our extended stay!

Very nice, clean hotel. Pool is a little on the small side but the kids had fun! No hot tub. Breakfast was great! I didnt have time to go down but my husband was able to grab a couple breakfast sandwiches for me and my son. Full kitchen was nice we were able to make alfredo and have plenty of space in the fridge for fresh fruit and whatever else we were traveling with. I would definitely stay again, my only complaint was the bed was pretty stiff for my liking, and we couldnt find extra bedding for the pull out couch, which my daughter loved.

Where to begin… First we had to request for linens for the pullout couch for my daughter - nothing left in the closet for convenience. Second, there was a master switch for the lights. Very discouraging when trying to get a toddler to bed as well and figure out the lighting. The pullout couch was terrible and not good support for anyone to sleep on. The master bed was terrible as well. The shower had no door. Just walk in and you will have an amount of water pooling outside of the shower getting the bath mat wet as well. Also, staff placed us on the second floor (that was not an issue) above the patio that is available for everyone to use, complete with fire pit and grill. On Saturday night of our stay, we were kept up all night (including the toddler) with the people using the space. It would have been better to have families placed on the other end of the hotel away from that additional noise. The breakfast was terrible. Microwaveable bacon, styrofoam eggs and preservative packed muffins. Also using the waffle maker, the associate in charge of the breakfast, the spray for the waffle maker was not placed out. Instead of waiting for me to step to the side, they said “oh excuse me” and completely blocked me in pushing me up against the counter with their waist/groin to reach into the cupboard up above for the spray. I felt highly uncomfortable and did not appreciate this rude and unwanted advance from your associate. Borderline sexual abuse. Please talk to your staff.

The suite was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and staff were consistently friendly. Our well-trained dogs were made very welcome, and there is an extensive walking trail/park right across the street. We didn't make use of the outdoor leisure facilities (luxury grill, fire pit, and sitting areas), but they looked very attractive. Breakfast options weren't as good as we hoped (no waffles during our stay!) but still above average, and pillows weren't the greatest, but overall, one of our best experiences.

What a nice feature….to have 2 large grills and tables and chairs as as alternative to eating in a restaurant.

I’ve stayed here several times before and have always thought of it as a beautiful clean hotel. This last stay the tv in the living room didn’t work, toe nail clippings behind the couch, toe nail and litter behind the bed side table, and the blind had dead bugs rolled in it. Very disappointed in this room.

2nd stay. Place is immaculate. Studios are amazing. Great showers, beds, large tv…kitchens are well stocked with things you need. Closets have organizers. Perfect place for one night or one month!

The property is very nice and new. The one bedroom suite was spacious. However, even though they had a wonderful kitchen, they did not have a dining table and chairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The mattress was so hard that I couldn’t sleep either night. I’m a side sleeper and my hips ached as a result. Nothing else matters if the mattress is uncomfortable. I asked the staff if they had any softer mattresses and they didn’t know. Ugh!!! Good place in every other way.

We chose this hotel because we were just doing a quick overnight and didn't want to invest in adjoining rooms to give our teen space. The 1 bedroom suite with pullout couch in a separate area seemed perfect. But it wasn't a traditional pullout. It flipped over down to the floor and was about as hard as the floor. It was the strangest thing we've seen. The regular bed wasn't terribly comfortable either. But if you plan to use the pullout for your family, do not stay here

Everything was lovely. The shower needs improvement we felt bad that it sprays out the door and doesn’t have a fine adjustment. We didn’t get a handicapped room but my husband would have liked a bar in the shower.

Outstanding property, outstanding staff. I have stayed here 4 times in the last 4 months. Excellent in all facets!!

Room was excellent, and truly appreciate all of the different locations of plugs and usb chargers. Plenty of dishes in the kitchen and options to borrow from the front desk.

The hotel made a mistake with my bill, and even though I had a receipt from Expedia, they were unable to resolve it because the manager was not there over the weekend. I can’t get this resolved for two days until the manager is back at work.

Everything was great about out stay. The only issue was that the hotel ran out of towels for their guests which is an issue as the weekend we stayed, the hotel played host to multiple volleyball players as about 3000 were in Oshkosh for the worlds largest grass volleyball tournament. Having access to clean fresh towels would have been nice.

Carissa was a great customer service person and welcoming, accommodating and friendly with the biggest smile. First time and will be returning.

The room surprised me having a kitchenette. The staff was super nice. The location was close to everywhere that I had to be.

Booked my room almost 2 weeks ago. I get to hotel and they give me a queen room and my reservation says King roo.. she tells me thete out of king rooms. How could that be when i booked a king room 2 weeks ago and it says so on my reservation. Sorry she says i just have a note here that says we are out of king rooms. That a lie. They sold my King room to someone else and lied to me because i booked with Expedia.

We were in town just overnight for a funeral. The hotel was in the perfect location, clean, new, and comfortable. I loved having a suite with a kitchenette. There was plenty of space to spread out, warm some soup, keep water cold, etc. The closet was awesome. Everything was great. Perfect for our needs!

Walking distance to a restaurant. Pleasant staff. Ease to the interstate.

Very nice new place to stay. Rooms clean and spacious. If you’re planning on breakfast you might want to make other plans. Just not very good. That being said I’ve stayed here multiple times and will be back. Thanks !!

Very clean, helpful employees, and a nice variety of foods for the FREE continental breakfast. King size bed was extremely comfortable. We had enough room to set up our pack and play for our 10 month old. Easy check out process. Would stay again.

Only thing about this property that needs to improve is the breakfast. EVERYTHING else is perfect.

If you are visiting UWO, please stay here. Great hotel. Beds are comfy. Breakfast, however, could be better-meat selection was questionable.

Nice modern new building. Very helpful staff and check-in was a breeze. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but a problem with the chafing dishes made it cold. Still tasty.
