A Little outdated however the rooms were nice and clean. We traveled for an expo and was kinda a hassle there was no elevator to carry heavy stuff up and down the stairs. But accommodations were made to have a room close by the doors. Nice getting a cash back rewards upon checkout.

This property is under major renovation!!! Owner is very friendly & clearly hoping to build a clientele base while rebuilding the property!! As expected everything was clean!! Everything was worn out but we were comfortable!!

We stayed here for the weekend for a basketball tournament and everything was great!! There is renovations going on, but not an inconvenience at all. Price is good and our room was very clean, cleaner than I expected!!! The owner and his family were beyond amazing and nice!! They made sure we felt welcomed and were there for anything we needed! Definitely would stay here again!!

If you're looking for a place to just stay 1 night, this might be it, but don't recommend. Bottom level was blocked off, for some reason, with caution tape. Old wrist bands, a hat and unknown items, from previous people, were left behind. And this may be because they encourage you to not need a housekeeper during your stay. AC had broken buttons, making it hard to adjust temperature

The hotel looks like it’s under renovation. There’s a lot of old toilets outside.The room itself is not like the pictures at all. Our room had old, gross carpet that desperately needed vacuuming. The bathroom had tiny black bugs (I think they are springtails). The bed was comfy, needs better pillows. The fridge and microwave were dirty. We bought wipes and cleaned them ourselves. Breakfast is very limited and there is limited seating as well. We actually didn’t eat breakfast so not sure what they serve, but looks like it’s just waffles and cereal. The one thing that was good is the staff. Very friendly. Oh and if you don’t request housekeeping they give you back money. We stayed for 2 days so we got $10. Most likely won’t stay here again, or until the renovation is complete.

The front desk staff was friendly and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Hot water was horrible and the walls must be paper thin because I could hear the people across the hall talking and their children screaming and running up and down the hall. The hall also reeked of pot.

The room, the linens and the bathroom were all clean, and I have no complaints there. The hallway steps were somewhat run-down on the verticals sides of the steps, but the horizontal sides were in good shape and had slip guards, so there was no safety issue, only an aesthetic one. There were aromas of pleasant air fresheners in the hallways, but the more pronounced odor was leftover curry or some other kind of food smell that I found unappealing. Again, though, there were traces that attempts were present to sanitize the odors that lingered. in the hallway of the first floor. There were no unpleasant odors in my room.

The staff was friendly. But the hotel was dirty. The walls were stained with I don’t know what.. both queen beds were extremely stiff as if I was sleeping on the floor and the tv had very limited channels. I won’t be staying there again.

The mattress was very uncomfortable. The room smelt so bad, we had to go buy air freshener. The bed sheets where clean and so was the bathroom but the carpets did not look clean. Overall I do not recommend.

The room was crowded, very small for a king bed and a big recliner. The air conditioner was window unit and very noisy. The sheers at the window were in tatters. We found a sock under the recliner when we had to move it to hang our clothes. The ice machine was freezing over and jammed. Overall not a good experience.

Motel offered a little money back deal;if you stay 2 nights or more without housekeeping and everything is clean when you leave they pay you for it. Comfy beds, super wonderful bathtub for us tub soakers, and it filled a need. Obvious renovations happening. Good side,get paid for not using housekeeping services. Bad side I'm a tub soaker, so when you go to relax ,you look around and ...mildew under the rim of toilet,long black hairs were left unwiped on the shower walls,tub drain stopper doesn't work ( I just used a cloth) and there was urine on the base of the toilet.

Room was not set up well. Sink too low. Huge chair blocking where garments hang. Light fixture missing. Bare wire showing. No bed side table on left side of bed. Back entrance door would not lock. No elevator. Work crew sitting outside of entrance drinking alcohol beverages and loud music playing. Curtains ripped.

It's not the Ritz, but for the price it was an outstanding stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfy enough. I slept well even though the heating/AC unit was a bit noisy when it would cut on. Once I got used to it, it wasn't an issue. There isn't an elevator but I was on the second floor and there are only a few steps so that wasn't a big deal. It seems to be located in a pretty good location which I liked. The location is next to a mountain that looks dark and imposing at night but if you see it during the day, you realize it's just a place where people live so that wasn't a big deal. Overall, for $59 when I stayed, it was a very pleasant surprise!

The owner was awesome. They have Veteran Parking spots but he insisted I park my motorcycle under the front canopy just in case of rain and since he has a good camera watching that area the whole time. It’s little things that really mean a lot.

Stay was comfortable and quiet. My wife forgot her phone in the room when we left, and the front desk took the time to call us to let us know that our phone was at the front desk. This is the only hotel that ive stayed at that has ever done that. I highly recommended this hotel. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in town. Customer service was excellent.

The staff upon arriving was very accommodating to my needs! I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds and I asked when checking in if they had any multiple bed rooms available. Sure enough they did and they upgraded me free of charge! It worked in our favor and will be coming back for sure.

I reserved the room for a one night stay and the room was clean and in a good location in Ruidoso. Unfortunately I had an emergency and had to return home and couldn't complete my stay but the customer service was OUTSTANDING! I say that because I booked that same day I knew I couldn't get a refund BUT the Manager was very awesome and gave me a great discount for my next visit. Will be returning soon!

Refurbished Super 8 - Great stay for the cost - Rooms were newly remodeled and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was meager but perfectly acceptable. We thought it was a great find compared to others rated the same (or worse!) and cost significantly more. Our only hint to others is to know that this hotel is at the southernmost end of town (near the racetrack where many other hotels are located), so allow time to go through town if your event is in Alto or the northern area of Ruidoso.

My family of 10 stayed here during the weekend and it was disappointed. The place is so outdated. In our room the AC unit is so loud every time it turns on. And for the price per night is not realistic at all. Carpet looks so old. They offer continental breakfast but they don’t have a lot of table and chairs for you to set. They have 3 tables and 2 chair each that’s it.
