Do walk away from this location you should run for your life. I will never return to this ran down poorly maintained & disgusting location. I stayed here cause Days Inn usually has high standards. The dresser was broken / falling apart, room was outdated & had dirty feeling. The hotel itself is dirty and smells horrible in common areas. Also they advertise WIFI but it didnt work during our stay. Asked front desk they had no care to issue & said it was user error. Even when i showed them in their lobby my phone wouldnt even connect. The staff had zero care or customer service. I also left very unsafe in the staying in establishment and the double locks on their lobby office area door i feel is just one sign they dont even feel safe during night hours in their own hotel. I could go on for a while but I'll save you. But as said before run like hell from this place. You dont want to stay here......

tthe property out side does not live up to the area it is in the building is very worn, as is the carpet throughout. it is a 2 story building and no elevator. there was little hot water to our second floor room and when i went to take my shower it was barely warm. the checkin process was not great, the attendant slapped the key down on the counter because he was talking on the phone to someone that was canceling their room. and then slapped the release on the counter and as i was trying to read it tapped it a couple of times when i did not sign it quickly enough he did it again. and the i said I am reading it and i sign nothing without reading it he finaly backed off, and changed his demeaner

This hotel was terrible! The window in my room had a hole in it! Stains on the bathroom counter? Room numbers written on the hallway wall with a black marker. No elevator! I will NEVER stay at Days Inn in Pocatello, Idaho again.

I booked this room to replace another one I checked out of due to conditions there on my trip. Front desk person was very nice and beyond apologetic for the hotel appearance. Said it was being remodeled. It was dirty pretty much everywhere. Looked unkept. Room and bathroom looked like it was just maybe wiped down from the last person. In the morning, there was no hot water at all for showering. Mentioned it on check out and person at the desk said it was a known issue and they need 3 more water heaters and the manager is aware of that. I guess guest comfort isn't that important to the hotel.

Not even close to the pics on the website! Breakfast was extremely limited, room was dirty and in disrepair, key card had to be reprogrammed every time I would try to get back into my room, outside security doors were broken or not usable, toilet seat was too small for toilet, freezer struggled to keep stuff frozen even on highest setting. Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had!

This place is run down. The outside areas were unkempt. Bathroom had hair on the shower enclosure. No hand towels, window didn’t lock and there were vagrants wandering around outside. The staff seemed uncaring. Two of them were outside chatting on a bench when I came to check in. They waited till I used the service phone to call them before they came in, even though they clearly saw me. The housekeeper was especially nice. She gave me another pillow when I requested it. Bed was comfortable and clean enough.

This property is old and in need of a huge facelift. The staff is friendly and accommodating but the first room we checked into was not clean. White pillow cases were all different shades of dingy white. When we pulled the covers back there were burn holes in our sheets. There was caked on dust in the desk chairs, debris on floor and the bathroom sink and tub had stains and cracks. We moved to another room and bed was clean but bathtub had so much built up scale and stains on tub that we didn’t shower. Conveniently located and price was affordable compared to other hotels that weekend. $89 versus $270 on up. Thus why we chose it.

When I got into my room the bathroom was disgusting was not clean dirt everywhere tub was disgustingly dirty there was black human hair in the sheets so the sheets were not changed on the mattress it looked like there was bed bugs or some kind of bugs went to the counter to talk to the manager and tell them about it to see if we could get a different room or if we could just get a refund and he fell out told me no do not stay at this hotel it's disgusting and dirty

The conditions were deplorable: hot water in sink runs constantly, lamps did't work, tv did not wotk, holes in walls plus some were crudely patched & unpainted, bathtub was slippery with no anti-skid mat'l, shower head could not be adjusted due to height, fixtures were corroded, caked and scratched, grout was brown stained and missing in places. Credenza drawer broken & hanging out, thus unusable. Seems to be a consistent & intentional lackmof maintenance. Falling down bed frames, toilets that don’t come clean, broken fridge knobs, “hovering employees”, shower heads that don’t move, very worn blankets, the shortest allotment of to I’ve every received upon check-in, cracked windows and hair left in the shower tub. The hair wasn’t mine, and there were also hairs “woven” into the towel in my bathroom. The bedside nightstand didn’t open and neither is the wardrobe drawers. You get what you pay for, but this was barely one step above camping. At least the air conditioning worked and I could cook my own waffles to have a “warm” breakfast. Even some of the outlets didn’t allow me to plug in my Apple iPhone/watch chargers. I made due for one night. Probably won’t stay at Days Inn again even though the “lights out” door hanger kept the hallway fairly quiet. Happy Father’s Day Pocatello!

This is an older property directly across from the University. The road can get noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. They sent us an early check in via text which was nice because when we drove up all we had to do was pick up the key. It was about 4 pm when we got to the hotel and no one was at the front desk, but there was a phone number to call, which we did, and the hotel clerk came out shortly. There were no hand towels or wash cloths in the room, so we had to ask at the front desk. They brought them quickly to our room. This property allows dogs and in the morning we felt like we were in a kennel with all the barking. The hallways smell, but the room isn’t bad. The mattress is very firm.

I am no stranger to dumps because I like a deal but this one irked me enough to review. The bed was simply the worst thing I\'ve ever tried to sleep on. The floor might have been a better option. I needed to refrigerate some things and just trusted the fridge. The next day, my items were basically room temp. For the cherry on top, the wifi was out. I can overlook run down features and the like but core things like a bed, a fridge that runs and functioning wifi need to be in place. This was a $50 room masquerading as a $112 "decent spot". Avoid it.

I was assured I would, but there was nothing put in the system that I had called them. Also, very limited parking was available so I had to park on the street. The room was cramped, uncomfortable and the bathroom was too small and not in good working condition.

First off, I could barely understand the person at the front desk and it took forever to do anything even after getting another person to help. Then they tried to tell me that I had to pay an extra $21 even though I'd prepaid on Expedia. They couldn't figure out for the longest time why the card they had on file was different than the one I showed them (Expedia uses it's own virtual card for each booking - something a hotel should know). Once I got to the room, it was filthy. Bed linens were stained, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned, and the shower curtain was completely missing. Every day I would leave early (no free breakfast because they didn't start it early enough) and when I got back my key card would not work. I would have to go back down to the front desk and get a new card. Despite leaving the "Do Not Disturb" tag on the outside of my door (which doesn't come with the room - you have to request it at the front desk), one day when I got to my room, the door was slightly ajar (I'm very paranoid about safety and always verify that my room is closed and locked when I leave). Thankfully, I didn't leave any valuables in my room while I was gone each day or I'm sure they'd have been stolen. Seriously, this place was a mess and if I could give it zero stars I would. I will definitely not be staying here again.

This is an older property directly across from the University. The road can get noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. They sent us an early check in via text which was nice because when we drove up all we had to do was pick up the key. It was about 4 pm when we got to the hotel and no one was at the front desk, but there was a phone number to call, which we did, and the hotel clerk came out shortly. There were no hand towels or wash cloths in the room, so we had to ask at the front desk. They brought them quickly to our room. This property allows dogs and in the morning we felt like we were in a kennel with all the barking. The hallways smell, but the room isn’t bad. The mattress is very firm.

The manager was very friendly, and helped us out by receiving a package for us. The facility was undergoing remodel, so although their were needed repairs, I think it will be fixed soon. The location was very convenient to the fine arts building we were visiting at ISU.

This isn't the Ritz Carlton, it's more like a worn out Travelodge. It's cheap and in rough condition, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. The location is great - close to some great restaurants and bars, and close to ISU.

Stayed here one night on a road trip. The check-in was fast and the room was easy to find with plenty of parking. Room was as expected. I did appreciate the large TV (55" ?). Room was clean and bed was confortable. I had dinner at Elmer's Restaurant next door, good meal and good service. I was able to walk to a grocery store for some snacks. The price of the hotel was in my budget and met all my expectations.

Best thing is that it was located next to an independent restaurant which had good food and service. This hotel is run down. Flimsy railings on stairs wobbled. Breakfast was a joke: only starches which were doled out after having to ask.

Overall my stay was good. My room did not look like the pictures but it was clean and had everything and more importantly I felt safe.
