Pretty cool mix of Chinese and western style with polished concrete floors and almost warehouse style ( which I like) staff very friendly and the room was a nice size . Free shuttle to the airport and they got the driver to take me earlier than booked . Very convenient .

Reception and restaurant are both sincere and good. Just the airport pick up service, the driver was not come on time and they grouped 4 customers from different terminals together that created some risk on late arrival. Finally on time but not felt well on the whole journey.

This is a convenient hotel if you need an overnight stay for flight connections at Pudong Airport. The airport shuttle is highly dependable and wonderful, as the hotel offers individualized pick-up and drop-off, so just call/email before your arrival or let the front desk know your departure time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including shuttle drivers! The hotel and rooms are artistically and nicely designed and decorated. Stores and restaurants are nearby, including a nice Yunnan mushroom hotpot place right next door.

Be aware that the noted 24-hour shuttle does not run 24 hours. They picked up our phones during the trip but did not show up to pick us up. And the food is not as good as many other 4-star hotels. Better to stay away from it.

Stayed for a transit stopover (obtained the 24hr. visa to leave PVG). Was a little difficult in organising the shuttle to the hotel - the number provided didnt work, and when I did get through, turned out they charged for post 11pm pickups. Took a taxi - showed chinese address - took just under 20 mins, 60RMB (take cash) At night it looked a little weird, the hotel seems to be part of a mall complex, and setback from the main road. However, the photos are accurate - the reception guy didnt speak English, but was very calm and proficient with the translation app - so checkin was no problem Room/building is excellent - my bed was huge, mix of large and small pillows, quiet, very clean. Breakfast was quite nice - was an egg/noodle station (that I didnt avail of), and a small but good selection of hot/cold foods. Shuttle to airport came promptly on time at 9am - journery to T2 took around 16-18mins. Overall would strongly recommend - would suggest the hotel put an email address to communicate beforehand, and put a google maps profile.

Lovely spacious and clean room, excellent shower and pressure. Very quiet especially considering location. Only 15/20 min Didi ride from airport. Friendly staff. We didn’t have the breakfast due to prior arrangements but it looked good and very much appreciated it being free. Would definitely stay here again should the need rise.

I love the hotel decor and bohemian theme. Rooms were spotless. Staff were very nice! Breakfast was amazing, and reasonably priced. The only negative is the hotel was a bit warm, especially in the community areas. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely come back again! Thank you Manli staff for making our stay comfortable.

I like to be honest, the area is not good, surrounded by some very small shopping mall, and very noisy in the evening that about one hundred people mostly middle females are dancing on the plaza. But staff they are very friendly, breakfast use also very good I could give 4.5 star ( star hotel standard). It’s a pity that we book the room with a balcony which is not well maintained, feel not cozy and clean enough to spend time there. Overall feel good about this hotel.:-)

MOONLO Hotel is great. It is a quick shuttle ride away from Pudong International Airport. The hotel had a relaxing vibe, a nice atmosphere, and unique aesthetic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was good and there are nice areas around the hotel to relax. They let us check out very late for a modest fee. It is situated with many restaurants and grocery stores right outside. I highly recommend this place.

The room was freezing upon arrival, took several hours to heat up. Service was helpful and friendly. However, I tried to message them about a transfer days before, which was not easy because they only provide a phone number as contact - but phone did not work for me. Got no response and ended up exhausted and lost at the airport and overpaying a driver just to finally get there. The hotel decided to message me hours before check in which was way too late because we were already on the plane.

We stayed during a 28hr stopover in Shanghai - apart form being a little tricky to find (there’s signs for Moonlo hotel and Manli - the reception staff referred to the hotel as Moonlo) it was perfect. The room was nicely decorated, spacious, and very clean. Bed was super comfy. Also stocked with everything you could need! 10/10 - I wish we could have stayed a few more nights! Friendly and helpful staff that allowed us to check in early (for a small fee)

I was quite surprised when I checked in to this hotel. I didn’t expected the room to be this large. I like its comfy and bright. The property is spacious and offers a Very relaxed atmosphere. I am very pleased with my stay. I highly recommended.

The hotel is very nice and beautiful but the airco was not working or not cooling down the 30 degrees of the room and very noisy so it was very difficult to have a good rest in that conditions. Nice to stay in order to go to the airport but far from the city center if you want to sight seeing. The personnel is super nice and helpful and the decoration amazing :-)

We’re so satisfied with the staying at Moonlo Hotel. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Their Driver went above and beyond for us. We lost our luggage at the airport and he drove us to 2 different terminals and went in to the airport with us to make sure we found our luggage and head to the right direction for our next flight. The hotel itself is very quiet and clean. The atmosphere is very culturally in depth, but includes modern features as well. We are so grateful for everything and everyone there during our visit and definitely will recommend it to everyone.

However, I tried to message them about a transfer days before, which was not easy because they only provide a phone number as contact - but phone did not work for me. Got no response and ended up exhausted and lost at the airport and overpaying a driver just to finally get there. the best stuff in this hotel r the best very helpful, kind, very professionals how to deal with some who lost a passport in a different country with not that much of English, where the google is restricted in China. the hotel is very nice and close to the Pudong Airport that they offer shuttle to the airport, and no need to orders a taxi. highly recommended to the traveler's with the transit to a different airport this hotel.

Great service and excellent spoken English by Thomas at the front desk during our late check in. Hotel is beautiful and not your typical chain hotel decor, which was a refreshing change. Small kids play area in the lobby area, where one can enjoy tea as well. Convenience stores, Burger King and multiple dining options right at the doorstep. Take note that the hotel does not have a car front porch, you have to alight by the road and pull your luggage in about 30m (1-2 min walk). I did not really see how wheelchair accessible this was. Make sure you get name and address in Chinese as the google translator could not give the taxi driver the address. Had to get the train from Shanghai to airport and try from there. Taxi driver called hotel but no answer. After 2 hours we eventually got there. As we were flying out the next morning and leaving at 5.15am there was no breakfast or airport transfer available. I wished we had booked an airport hotel as it would have been so much easier. Had dinner in a nice restaurant next to hotel. Hotel room was huge and. was a bit tiered looking. Had a deck outside which we used and it was nice and quiet. Not sure what was near the hotel as we didn't get to have much time there. Looked like a very family area with lots of children about. I like to be honest, the area is not good, surrounded by some very small shopping mall, and very noisy in the evening that about one hundred people mostly middle females are dancing on the plaza. But staff they are very friendly, breakfast use also very good I could give 4.5 star ( star hotel standard). It’s a pity that we book the room with a balcony which is not well maintained, feel not cozy and clean enough to spend time there. Overall feel good about this hotel.:-)

I love the hotel decor and bohemian theme. Rooms were spotless. Staff were very nice! Breakfast was amazing, and reasonably priced. The only negative is the hotel was a bit warm, especially in the community areas. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely come back again! I loved everything about this hotel. My stay was very short - only one night because I was in Shanghai for a layover. But I wish I was staying longer. Everything was great. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. But thing that made my experience extra special, was the morning right before I checked out. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant lady was the sweetest ever and made me an amazing wonton soup. It felt very welcoming. Check out was seamless and the front desk staff helped me carry my luggage to the car. Definitely have to come back and stay much much longer!
