Loft Hotel Malecón Vallarta

Friendly staff. Clean and new pool area with umbrellas and loungers. Room was clean and they upgraded us. Cold AC. Yummy breakfast. Shower was a bit wonky but thats all. For those who are noise sensitive, this is a busy area on most sides of hotel so bring a sound machine ;)

el hotel esta muy centrico, a unos cuantos pasos del malecon y de la playa publica, en general todo muy bien para descansar, muchos lugares para comer ahi cerca y pasar de fiesta, no tiene alberca, y te piden un deposito por la estancia

El lugar es cómodo y tiene lo necesario. Muy buena ubicación para salir al centro, malecón, mirador, etc. Pero la alberca estaba en mantenimiento y eso resto puntos. Es un lugar pequeño agradable y limpio para llegar a descansar.

The hotel is clean and easy to find. There is an elevator if you can’t walk the one flight up. There is parking under the hotel. A small but comfortable pool. The staff are very friendly. The room was large but easily cooled with a quiet air conditioner.

Yes, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms

There was construction around the building. Very noisy area. Paper thin walls. I had bugs all over and lots of them. I told them and they came and videoed them and i checked out.

The hotel is clean and easy to find. There is an elevator if you can’t walk the one flight up. There is parking under the hotel. A small but comfortable pool. The staff are very friendly. The room was large but easily cooled with a quiet air conditioner.

When the cleaning staff did come to do our room they didn’t change our sheets or clean the bathroom. They didn’t wash the balcony floor once during our 2-1/2 week stay. Also, the cleaning staff never washed the washroom floors in the pool area or the sink area. The pool man gave our towel cards to someone else so when we returned our towels he couldn’t give us our cards back. This was a problem because when we checked out we were supposed to return the cards so we didn’t get charged for the towels.

We liked that we had 2 queen beds and they were in seperate areas. We had 2 tvs too. We had a nice size fridge. The staff was really friendly and let us check in early as the room was ready. We didn't like that it was in an area that's across a plaza and it is noisy right up until 2 am. Other than that it was really comfortable and convenient. Walking distance to all the restsurants and the beach. Would stay again.

The hotel description and the room I booked and the room I got was not the same nor is it anything like the photos. Very disappointed

The original room we were put in was atrocious, gross, unsafe and not AT ALL what was represented on the hotel's website or social media. It was horrible. And when I spoke to the front desk staff she was incredibly rude and REFUSED to help me or change rooms. Later the night manager called us and put us in a better room

We booked two rooms the first was the sea view room with king bed. They gave us a old room with two twins which was listed as much lower than I paid. The second was correct.

Positive: Good location, friendly staff. Negative: We never got hot water, some rooms have a window to the aisle only.

Everything was as expected and more. Only stayed for a night but the room I had a very nice Kitchenette with twin beds which could make for a nice place to stay for an extended period. Close to main tourist section of Vallarta. Internet was fast (100mbps) which could make for a spot to work from as well.

The room was clean. But we had an ant problem the first 2 days. The staff was good except the main check in lady. She had little interest in helping.

It rained one day and the room leaked however, the staff was helpful in placing us in another room to sleep for the night.

We stayed twice at Loft Malecon within one week, in different rooms. The location of the hotel is fantastic (despite sewer work going on in the street in front of the hotel during our stay), but you have to be very careful about where your room is within the hotel. On the plus side, the rooms were reasonably clean and the beds were comfortable. On the downside, several rooms overlook the inner patio/restaurant/pool area and can be very noisy especially in the morning when the restaurant starts up. Also, our 2nd room had a large toilet paper hold in front of the sink which made it really hard to use the sink since there was only a narrow area between the wall and the huge, locked (why?) toilet paper dispenser. Also the 2nd room didn't have an in-room phone to reach the front desk and the towels didn't include a mat for the bathroom. When I asked at the front desk, they looked at me like I was asking about very unusual things. But these things were in our first room earlier that week! Unusually for Mexico and Puerto Vallarta in our experience, staff were not very helpful. In addition to the above example, they didn't provide basic information at check-in about the breakfast that came with the reservation. We weren't told that coupons are needed which are only obtained from the front desk and that only a few items on the menu are included. The restaurant staff spoke almost no English so this information is only available from the front desk.

I loved my stay here, they are all about helping you get what you need. The front desk managers were so very helpful. If they can upgrade you for free or save you money, They will. I will definitly be back.

The room was clean but the hallway noise and construction noise was beyond terrible and the woman checking us in appeared annoyed with pretty much every guest. Not helpful. Said there was no airport shuttle even though it is clearly marked on hotels.com then absolutely uncaring that we were having difficulty finding a cab for so early the next morning. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Great location, comfortable and affordable. Hotel itself has a small cafe but many options right outside the hotel doors. Our room was spacious and beds were pretty comfortable. Hotel was clean, our room didn’t have the best lighting but the AC unit worked great. Can be a bit loud since it’s in the heart of the Malecon area. I was happy to find this hotel and would definitely recommend and stay again.

Located in a great area - next to all great beaches and downtown Vallarta. Get the best of all worlds.

Great Hotel, with kitchen in door, air conditioned, nice hostess, great ubicatión, 2 minutes walk to malecón, 3 minutes to near beach shrimps, accesibles rate's prices. Parking area, cofee free every morning. Total recommend

We booked in January for our February 13-20th stay. There were only two rooms available - now we know why! It is an amazing place. Central to all the action. Yes you hear noise from the cars - but you are in the middle of a big city! A pair of earplugs and the sound of fan/AC was enough to sleep soundly. Stayed in room 107 - two beds and a fridge. No coffee maker, couch or balcony. No problem though, as we used the room mostly to sleep. We didn’t use the loft. Little afraid of the stairs after a night of margaritas, as they are steep, open and railing little loose. We didn’t have hot water the first morning but mentioned it to Felipe and it was rectified as soon as maintenance came in that day. Even though they are short staffed, the cleaning team did an amazing job. Room was spotless and beautiful. Service was top notch - everyone was friendly and attentive … Seeing Felipe (morning) and Victor (evening) at the front desk made our days that much brighter. We had an issue with an adjacent room partying through the night. In the middle of the night I went to reception to mention something and security attended to it professionally and immediately. No issues after that. We will be returning - hopefully booking soon enough to get a pick of the rooms!

Very nice place to stay in PV. All staff are very friendly, helpful and the rates were quite reasonable. We booked ours in March 2024. The Rooms, hallways & patio veranda are very clean. It is located in good location. It’s just before the 1 mile Malecon begins and is right across the street from the Rosita. There is no restaurant but a Fridge, microwave pans/ or a cooking stove are included in the suites. Coffee is also provided between 7-11am. There are so many wonderful restaurants to eat in PV. I definitely would stay here again. We did walk across the street to the Rosita a couple times for an easy breakfast. ( We stayed at the Rosita last year).

The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was comfortable and clean overall. The only issue I had was that the AC was needed for circulation but it blew super-cold right on the bed, even when we adjusted where the vent was pointed. The hotel is doing improvements, and it is turning out beautifully. I'm sure it will be even more impressive when it's done. The neighborhood (right at the start of the Malecon and facing 5 de Deciembre) is perfect for experiencing culture (there was a band playing in the park) and food (amazing taco stands in 5 de Deciembre). I'd definitely stay there again.
