We stayed at Canto Del Sol in a 2-bedroom luxury suite for the second year in a row. Huge shoutout goes to buffet servers Miguel and Jesus, pool server Gladis, omelette maker Monica and concierge Leonel. Great family resort, consistent food throughout. Great location, close to downtown and the airport. Only complaints this year were the terrible wifi and hard beds but we will return with our family again.

The kitchen in our room was bear. No dishes, TV remote, safe was locked, no luggage holder, AC noisy. Front door lock broke. Other rooms appeared to be okay with all amenities described in website. We just had a lemon.... Staff was very responsive.

NO Kitchen, rooms are so far away with NO Elevator. Old & Crusty Hotel. Would Not Stay there ever again. Pictures are so far from the truth of what this is really like. Some and I do men some staff were great, others lazy, we speak Spanish, English problem they do not Americans. Dinner reservations are a complete joke.

They try hard to maintain the quality of hotel. However, 70% of staff doesn’t speak English. WiFi not strong enough. Restaurant food wasn’t good.

Excellent experience, very accommodating staff. One day the main pool was closed due to weather and they moved the bar, food, umbrellas and music to the other pool, it was very cool! Room air conditioning didn’t work great but food, service and amenities were awesome!
