Todo muy bien. Nos dieron una habitación en un primer piso y al descubrir que había ruido de la calle, pedimos pasar a un piso más alto y nos cambiaron sin problema. También tuvieron nuestras mochilas todo el día siguiente luego de hacer check out para poder subir al Machu Pichuu. Buen desayuno !

Hotel Luz Garden was such a joy! It is just minutes away from the Aguas Calientes train station (ex. Local, Inka Rail, Perú Rail) and also near Ministerio de Cultural office if you need to buy a last minute ticket to Macchu Picchu. The staff and hospitality at this hotel was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and they have a storage room for your luggage. The rooms were clean, had Inkan decor, and most importantly, heat! I went August 2025 so it was definitely chilly in town. There is an elevator to take you to your respective floor. Only cons is that late at night, I did not see a 24/7 security guard or receptionist at front desk. It was simply left unlock with lights off. Additionally, though the location is minutes away from the Main Street of dining and nightlife (about 6 min walk) it is in a hidden street, my friends had to walk me to my hotel after midnight hours just to ensure I was safe. Nonetheless, a great stay and it is right next to economical dining options and snacks (2 soles for emoliente and late night snacks etc.) Would definitely recommend!

Hospedagem excelente, por menos de 45USD tem um quarto muito confortável, ótima cama para descansar depois de andar quase 5h em Machu Picchu. O hotel é muito bem cuidado, super limpo, com elevador e tudo. Além disso, o atendimento é muito solícito e simpático. Por fim, café da manhã bom.

Nuestra estancia fue excelente. Llegamos dos horas antes del check in y nos dejaron acupar la habitacion sin problema. La habitacion muy bonita y comoda, además de que el desayuno es tipo buffet y muy rico, nos tendieron muy bien. Te dejan guardar tu equipaje despues del check out. Lo recomiendl mucho

Bom hotel, parece ter sido recém reformado, possui elevador e boa localização! Muito perto da estação de trem e também da para ir a pé aonde pega o onibus para Machu Picchu. Quarto aconchegante, camas confortáveis. No quarto sentimos falta de um espelho de corpo inteiro, e no banheiro a pia foi colocada distante da torneira, e acaba molhando muito, poderiam rever isto. Não tinha pano de piso no chão do banheiro. Bom café da manhã, várias opções de frutas. A moça que prepara o café da manhã é bem simpática. Recomendo e voltaria a me hospedar.

I stayed here for one night to buy my Machu Picchu ticket in person, and this hotel turned out to be a great choice. Staff is excellent. I was greeted by someone at the train station and escorted to the front desk. The room was ok, there’s construction so everything has dust on it. The bathroom is normal except there’s a window and it allows you to hear everyone else. It’s super loud when ppl next room over are playing music taking a shower or something. You get it. Also it’s congested so tourist having a good time create noise that echos into your room at night. This is not the staff’s fault but somebody’s gotta be blamed.

The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. Our room faced the 'street' and was pretty noisy until about 10:30 pm. A bath mat in the bathroom would be nice, as the floor can be slippery when wet. The beds were very comfortable.

We booked the room because we saw such high ratings online. When we arrived, we waited 20 minutes at the reception for the receptionist to arrive. When we got the room, there was no running water. We asked to change rooms because they said it would take at least 30 minutes to fix, they said there was no rooms available, yet they show availability online. On top that, the bathroom light was flickering non- stop! Lastly, there was a lot mold in the shower! I really don't know who are providing these high reviews, maybe bots? Breakfast was ok.

The staff was excellent. They went out of the way to make our stay outstanding. We had a long wait for our train departure back to Cusco and they helped us out with our checkout and allowed us to stay in their lobby. Room was very clean and comfortable

5-star room and service! The bed was literally a dream to sleep on, wide also! Big bathroom with plenty of hot water and great shower pressure. Everything was extremely clean. Buffet breakfast included fresh tropical fruit, abundant scrambled eggs and freshly sliced avocado. Don't think it over: just book here!

The lady checking us in was efficient but slightly rude and patronising. The room was excellent the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was good however the shower curtain was too short so the bathroom flooded when the shower was on. The hotel was in an excellent location but the town is tiny so all the hotels are in good locations. A fan in the room would have been nice. The breakfast was a catastrophe it was inedible there was hardly anything left and it was nasty cheap food that no one was eating.

We stayed here for 1 night. We were heading to Machu Picchu the following morning. Since we had to head out early for breakfast, hotel offered breakfast to go. It was unexpected but such a nice gesture. Rooms are nicely decorated. No A/C in the room but we were still comfortable. Recommend taking shower at night while there is still hot water. Morning shower did not have hot water.

The staff are so lovely. Their breakfast is simple but made with love. They are helpful and kind. Room is clean but quite small, which is totally ok. I reduced the stars to let someone who wants to stay here know that the windows face the street below and it is super bright lights through the windows and people are loud all night long. You likely won’t sleep well so Bring eye mask and ear plugs.

Péssimo hotel. A água do chuveiro não esquentava (tivemos que reclamar 3 vezes), o banheiro molhava todo, não tinha toalha suficiente para o número de hóspedes (tinhamos que solicitar diariamente), café da manhã lamentável (café frio, sem reposição de ovos, pouquíssimas variedades), muito barulho (nos corredores do hotel e na rua, pela janela), a janela fica de frente para a janela do outro hotel (sem privacidade), não tem ventilador, ar condicionado ou aquecedor no quarto, não tem stream na TV, sabonete do banheiro muito ralo. Enfim, detestamos.

The reason for 4 stars is the noise in the building. The rooms have no outside windows but the window is into a small courtyard and the noise travels up very easily. Also the noise from the hallway echoes into the room. My husband slept through it but I was awakened quite a few times. Otherwise was a really nice place to stay.

The property was pretty decent though - likemost of the properties in Machu Picchu Village - noisy until early in the morning. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had no vents so when you put the shower, everything will get steamy. Milo review comes from one thing right at the end of the day we had checked out and left our bags for them to hold while we went up to Machu Picchu. When we got back, they showed us a telephone picture of a barely visible yellow stain that was on one of the towels. And shirt they were implying that we had stained them somehow though they never outright stated they wanted to charge us something that’s what they implied my opinion or trying to extort money. They kept repeating the same thing about the same for like 10 minutes until we finally got tired of it. We told them the stain could’ve been there before, it could’ve been on the floor or we put it to keep herself from sliding over the steamy floor, but also no uncertain terms that we are not caused it and they finally gave up and the scam they were trying to run. This is the first time I have ever run into this at any hotel.
The property was pretty decent though - likemost of the properties in Machu Picchu Village - noisy until early in the morning. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had no vents so when you put the shower, everything will get steamy. Milo review comes from one thing right at the end of the day we had checked out and left our bags for them to hold while we went up to Machu Picchu. When we got back, they showed us a telephone picture of a barely visible yellow stain that was on one of the towels. And shirt they were implying that we had stained them somehow though they never outright stated they wanted to charge us something that’s what they implied my opinion or trying to extort money. They kept repeating the same thing about the same for like 10 minutes until we finally got tired of it. We told them the stain could’ve been there before, it could’ve been on the floor or we put it to keep herself from sliding over the steamy floor, but also no uncertain terms that we are not caused it and they finally gave up and the scam they were trying to run. This is the first time I have ever run into this at any hotel.

Me parece que deberían actualizar su teléfono de contacto ya que íbamos a llegar una noche después de lo agendado por problemas con la aerolínea y nunca pudimos contactarlos. Pedimos ayuda a hotels.com y tampoco ellos lo lograron, dejamos mensajes y no los vieron hasta después que llegamos. Esto pasó en Domingo, sé que no es día laboral normal pero siempre debería haber personal del hotel disponible en todo momento.

They had issues with the rooms, at first thinking we had only reserved one room, instead of two. We paid for just one room the first night, then the next morning, we paid for three nights. I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, but they we’re demanding we pay more. We ended up leaving and I overpaid by an additional night to get them off my back. In the end, they ripped me off and charged double the advertised price. Perhaps stay elsewhere…

This place was great! Recommend to all. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. Clean, solid breakfast, very kind staff who asked us every time they saw us if we needed anything (and offered toiletries, towels, room cleaning, directions, advice). The polla a la brassa across the street was very good and only 30 soles per meal--don't get ripped off by the tourist restaurants on the main street.

Everything from the beginning was wrong with this property. The weight looks at the front desk, the cleanliness, the staff. The hotel is extremely noisy and has a terrible sound insulation. Our room was smelly and dirty, and also was hot with no ventilation. At night the staff made noise until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. I had to come down twice to tell them to be quiet and stop the music they were playing at the front desk and in the kitchen. I had to ask for a refund and leave the hotel the very next day. Terrible experience.

The staff was excellent. They went out of the way to make our stay outstanding. We had a long wait for our train departure back to Cusco and they helped us out with our checkout and allowed us to stay in their lobby. Room was very clean and comfortable

Rooms themselves are really good. Very comfortable beds, powerful shower and nice shower towels. Staff were a bit of a let down. We felt mislead on our second night as there was a big festival happening on the soccer pitch at the end of the road. They said it would end at 7:30 and it stopped at 3am. There’s no way the staff didn’t know this as half the town were there. We could have moved to a quieter end of town. It was also really noisy with drunk locals going home until the early morning the night before so we had two terrible nights sleep for our Machu Picchu hikes. We also arranged for an early breakfast on our first day and turned up to find the kitchen/diner in darkness and we were slightly late. The lady who was both the cleaner and cook was very accommodating though for our dietary needs. The reception is not manned 24hrs and they didn't give us a contact number incase of an emergency. Finally they leave the front door unlocked with no key to open/ unlock it which was really bad from a security point of view. We wouldn’t recommend this place.

Gostamos muito do Hotel Luz Garden! Ele está muito bem localizado — a menos de 4 minutos a pé da estação de trem e também próximo de ótimos restaurantes. Assim que saímos da estação, foi muito fácil chegar até o hotel. Como nosso passeio para Machu Picchu era bem cedo, o hotel ofereceu um box lunch (lanche para viagem), já que o café da manhã ainda não estava disponível no horário da nossa saída — um detalhe que faz diferença e mostra o cuidado com os hóspedes. O quarto era bonito, espaçoso e confortável, com uma cama ótima e um chuveiro excelente. As pessoas que nos atenderam foram muito atenciosas e simpáticas. Foi uma excelente escolha de hospedagem e com certeza eu voltaria a me hospedar ali novamente.

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and it is just about 2 minutes walk to the Inca rail and Peru rail, about 5 minutes to the bus going to Machupicchu. Very convenient walk to the shopping area and also small groceries just outside the hotel . Restaurants are situated everywhere and there are a lot of options . Staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is easy to find and a short walk from the train station. Ask for a room with windows facing the inside courtyard (not the outside) for a quieter experience. The rooms were clean and sufficiently spacious. The staff was cordial and the breakfast provided was great! After checking-out, they allowed us to store our things at no additional charge. I would recommend it.

5-star room and service! The bed was literally a dream to sleep on, wide also! Big bathroom with plenty of hot water and great shower pressure. Everything was extremely clean. Buffet breakfast included fresh tropical fruit, abundant scrambled eggs and freshly sliced avocado. Don't think it over: just book here!

Todo muy bien. Nos dieron una habitación en un primer piso y al descubrir que había ruido de la calle, pedimos pasar a un piso más alto y nos cambiaron sin problema. También tuvieron nuestras mochilas todo el día siguiente luego de hacer check out para poder subir al Machu Pichuu. Buen desayuno !

Passamos uma noite de descanso ótima no Hotel Luz Garden, fomos muito bem recebidos, o quarto muito confortável, ducha excelente e o café da manhã muito bom e servido no horário que marcamos pois nossa saida foi bem cedido. Deixamos nossa mochila para retirada mais tarde e foi ótimo para não carregarmos peso. O Hotel está pertinho da estação de trem para retorno, muito bem localizado. Recomendo e volto com certeza.

I paid via Expedia and then upon returning from dinner was forced to pay again or they would not let me back in my room. In the morning the cleaner had music blasting right outside my room as I was trying to sleep. The breakfast was pathetic. One stake bread roll and a dry piece of ham with cold coffee. I would not recommend this hotel.

It’s exactly what you need for a one or two night stay if you’re doing Machu Picchu. A 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the bus station that takes you to the top. Clean room, hot shower, and I felt perfectly safe walking there at 10 at night when my train arrived. I also walked to the bus before the sun was up and felt safe. The BEST part was breakfast starts at 5:30 but I told her we’d be leaving at 5am so we wouldn’t need it. She said she’d pack us box lunches to take with us in the morning. We left about 15 minutes earlier than planned and no one was there to tell but there at the reception desk were two bags with our room number on them filled with fruit, sandwiches, a granola bar and giant water bottle. So incredibly thoughtful to have gone out of their way to put these together for us. Very pleased with our stay but that made them stand out!!
