AC Hotel by Marriott Kingston, Jamaica

Hotel restaurant is open to the public. A few times no guests asked me to scan my room pass so they can access elevator, I said no. During weekends & at night there should be security to ensure safety. The elevator was broken & we got stuck a few times. We were stuck for more than five minutes each time. Power completely off & it’s pitch dark inside we kept running ringing alarm & nothing. I complain and issue was not resolved. This hotel is too busy.

Property condition was in excellent condition, beautiful hotel!!!! Not somewhere for peace and quiet it’s in the heart of Kingston and is the stomping ground for EVERYONE!

It’s pretty busy on most evenings especially on the weekends which sometimes make it hard for guests to have seating or dining at the hotel. The lobby is extremely cold but these are mere matters of preferences and do not detract from the otherwise excellent atmosphere and facility and the professional, friendly staff

AC hotel is in a good safe location, friendly staff. Great for family and singes. Entertaining. 24 hour pool and 24 hour gym.

Pool was closed and not reopened until December 23rd.

AC Hotel was phenomenal. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant had excellent customer service. They were friendly and approachable. The facilities were immaculate. The room was comfy and clean. We checked in on a Friday night and they had a DJ set up near the bar which was such a cool vibe. We enjoyed dinner and drinks with the music selection and it felt like a nightclub lounge atmosphere instead of a hotel lobby. The property is safe and secure with lots of parking options. I also loved that they have a Starbucks adjacent to the restaurant. My partner and I loved our stay and will definitely be returning.

Very clean modern hotel. It’s not the hotel to stay at if you want the resort pool and feels. I’d stay at S hotel. Has a pool bar and better pool

Chantel did a tremendous job tidying my room. The place is extremely clean and fresh. There could be nightly activities to entertain us. What I don’t like is that most times it’s hard to get a seat in the lobby because of outsiders.

They put low value on guess parking. Guess have to struggle their way to the very last part at the top of the parking lot while the more accessible are left for so called VIPs. Other Major hotels prioritize guests parking.

AC hotel is great quality l, safeand the staff are super friendly. There is a Starbucks on site and a nice restaurant across the street, Thai Mystic.

My recent stay at the AC Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica was disappointing. Despite a smooth check-in and exceptional staff like Jody, the overall experience fell short. Manager Justina attempted to address concerns, but cleanliness and atmosphere were lacking. The hotel felt more like a public lounge, uncomfortable for guests. The gym was decent, but the pool area was unclean and overcrowded with non-guests. Additionally, the ATM was out of order for three days without notice, inconveniencing guests. For $3000 USD, the value was poor. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for female solo travelers. Marriott should reconsider its affiliation. The lack of attention to detail, combined with the uncomfortable environment, made for a disappointing stay. There’s room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and overall guest experience. While some staff members showed dedication, others were lacking in professionalism. Overall, I expected more from a hotel associated with the Marriott brand. It’s essential for guests to feel valued and comfortable, which was not the case during my stay. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to improve future guests’ experiences good luck.

Love this hotel. The breakfast buffet, the clean spacious rooms. The bar is very popular (especially on a Saturday night). Best part of hotel is the Starbucks connected right beside it.

To be honest I didn’t know what to expect but was very impressed by the hotel and the staff, I found the cleanliness to be top notch and the staff to be very accommodating. I’ll stay again!!

The hotel looks sleek and modern. Hotel staff was very easy to work with when I my flights were cancelled and I needed to change my booking. The food was pretty good, and the costs were decent. The lounge can definitely get busy at night, especially on the weekends. The rooms were clean and cool, and the views were nice. I’d stay there again.

Nice beds and feather pillows. Great housekeeping. Modern design. Wish they provided a microwave.

Beautiful modern and classy facility, should be rated as a 5-star hotel! A good value for money. Super clean, spacious and comfortable room. Very tasty local dishes. Security is good, lively and professional environment. Responsive and caring management team. Fast speed internet, strong heated water source, daily complimentary bottled water and a nice variety of snacks and drinks from their concierge area. I can’t wait to go back, I will definitely recommend to all my friends, families and colleagues! Congratulations to the management team your doing an amazing job!

The hotel is nice, the AC on my room had a bad knocking sound it was making. It sounded like someone was hitting the door with a sledgehammer at times. The food was way overpriced and was not too delicious. You could order the same meal different times and it's still a hot or miss. The food needs to be seriously upgraded, or lowered the price of everything by half.

The accommodations were great. The staff was kind professional and attentive.

The property is excellent however the restaurant experience is slow often multiple asking if everything is ok yet our food took over an hour before it came out.

The atmosphere and location was ideal. The staff response to situations that I considered urgent was not met with same response.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff at the front desk who ensured a seamless check-in process. Their hospitality was unparalleled, and throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to check in with me and cater to my every need. recommending local hidden gems, their dedication to guest satisfaction was truly commendable. I must say a big shout out to Jhenelle at the front desk, and Prince, Shane, and Romaine at the bar, they are Amazing. The accommodations at the AC Hotel were simply exquisite. My room was a haven of comfort with a decent view of the surrounding landscape. Every little detail was carefully thought out, creating a cozy retreat where I could unwind and rejuvenate in the heart of Kingston. The food was also tasty, for a better experience please sit at the Bar, as the waiters in the lobby could do with a lot more traning. In addition to the decent accommodations and delectable food, to the small swimming pool to the state-of-the-art fitness center, I was able to relax and unwind during my stay. The best part about this property is that it has a nightlife. Most evenings you will have guests as well as other locals gather in the lobby and socialize. The AC Hotel will do even better if they provide Valet and Bell Hop Services. To park my car myslef or carry up my luggage to my room, takes away from an even better experience. Overall I highly recommended this property.

It is very close to the Embassies. I stayed at this hotel because I wanted to be close to the US Embassy for my appointment and it was straightforward getting there.

I would recommend this property for its convenience pretty close to everything but I wouldn't suggest walking the area because it is a very high-traffic area. The staff was very friendly and nice the property was very clean, especially our room, and our privacy signs were obeyed (smile). when the bar is closed you can get liquor from the front desk if you feel like drinking all night (smile). the elevators are spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kingston who needs a nice friendly place to stay.

The menue option was very limited. In addition, they lack to provide authentic Jamaican food. I called the front desk several times and no one answered the phone which was frustrating. However, the staff were all pleasant and accommodating. Bartender Prince and Odane were the most curtious to me and my family.

This is the newest hotel in Kingston. It's clean and safe, perfect for work. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is a DJ in the lobby. It gets pretty crowded and loud. The weak link is food. There is no room service, breakfast is weak, and lunch and dinner are okay, but the service is bad. I would eat out. Everything else is ok.

Beautiful property and very well located. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed and ordering food came with a long wait. Aside from that it was a great stay.

Service is not the best, there is no room service, water in the shower was not very hot and food options are very minimal. Not at the level of an ac Marriott
