We stayed here a few years ago when this hotel first opened and it was amazing. 1000/10. We decided to come back now only to realize somehow it is being run down, bathroom shower was rusted on all the metal, had some mold as well. Bathroom door was getting stuck and would come off the track when trying to close. (Luckily it was my husband and I so lt was let a huge deal). Tesla chargers were not working the whole trip, (one of the main reasons we booked this one again). Had to pay for charging elsewhere. Someone decided to smoke on the 3rd floor and there was a horrible cigarette smell the entire weekend in the hallway. ( I know this isn’t the hotel fault but it still was bad ). All in all, the hotel is beautiful and in a very convenient location BUT could use some upkeep to prevent such a beautiful hotel to look so run down in such a short period of time.

Property is perfect location easy walk to the trolly. Super clean and the staff are human and caring. Enjoyed the ev plug in for free. Nice stocked food beer and snacks in the lobby. Breakfast is over priced and under developed.

This Hotel was almost perfect in every way. Nice, Large room, clean, and my room was close to the elevator. The staff from the desk to the waitress to the housekeeper were all very friendly. I would say that the only downside was the $25 a night parking fee. I was there 3 days, and that's $75 plus tax for me to park my own car. I would rather have paid $ 25 per STAY, not per night. That's it, my only complaint. Would stay there again.

Got up to our room and all u hear is a dog barking and scratching from a near room. Go in, was given the wrong room, no problem , got it resolved and headed to the right room, different floor, all u hear is multiple dogs barking in different rooms. Wasn’t expecting that and was annoyed when u could hear it while in my room…. Building is beautiful though. But they need maintenance done based off other comments and my personal experience. Mini fridge didn’t cool anything and 2 different lights in our room didn’t work. Seen that in previous reviews but figured it would be something that’s fixed considering the price tag. Also $20 parking per day . Not advertised, nor do they tell u while checking in . While checking out I asked to receive a receipt of my stay printed or emailed, she took my email but I never received anything.

My family stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for two nights. We arrived at the hotel at 3 pm and our room was not ready. We hung out in the lobby and room was ready at 3:30. The lady at the front desk, Daisy, was very helpful and friendly. Our room was located on the 3rd floor towards the end of the hallway. We never heard noises from the hallway but could hear some noise from neighboring rooms (not a big deal). The room was clean and modern. It did have a slight dog smell though. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion. Our room only had three bath towels but we had four people. I texted the front desk and housekeeping brought an additional towel within ten minutes. We walked both days to the Historic Downtown. The walk took about 20-25 minutes each way. The Old Jail and and trolley stop #1 were close by (about 1 block away). There is a fee of $25 per day for parking at the hotel. I knew this before I booked the hotel but kinda annoying. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel or use many of the amenities. We glanced at the pool but it was closed while we were there. We did not include breakfast in our reservation so not sure how that is. Overall, our family had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The staff were all amazing. I was a bit thrown off when going into the room, the paint was peeling off the walls, kind of took away from looking out the window. The floors of the shower, while clean, were coated with something slimy we had to use a washcloth to wash away so we didn’t slip. Common occurance, I suppose, but as someone who is a fall risk, it’s dangerous. Walls are thin and it definitely not worth the almost $700 I paid for two nights between booking and parking (which they told us was additional $15 each night once we checked in.) Next time we will be going somewhere else.

It looked like nobody had run a vacuum on the carpets for quite some time. Not a good look or feel, and not what I expected. Several of the outlets and lights in the room did not work, as well.

The carpet beside the bed was dirty the floors were dirty ( walking from bathroom to bed in bare feet my feet were dirty from the floors) the bed was very hard. As a Hilton member I am very disappointed in this room.

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was excellent and pleasant. It was literally right by the Fountain of Youth spot which was nice. Room was clean as a whistle and the place looked very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend.

The location is the main reason we selected this hotel, besides the fact that its a Hilton property and the price was reasonable for our week of vacation. That being said, the room was spacious and comfortable except for the bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a steel beam every night. Both my husband and I were very sore each morning. Otherwise, our accommodations were nice. There was also never anyone at the front desk when we went downstairs for assistance during normal hours. Thought that was strange.

Great location. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. But one of the rooms didn’t have a functioning TV. The bathrooms had a barn door that didn’t close all the way so you could be seen and heard in the bathroom. Not ideal when traveling with kids. We turned off the master switch when we went to bed and it turned off the bathroom light and all our electronics didn’t charge over night. Some minor inconveniences but overall a good stay.

I really did enjoy the room and how large it was the convenience of the bar downstairs was awesome for me but the menu itself the food offering was not the best in my opinion you did have brunch in the morning which I did not try but the other additional menu items I felt like they fall short probably because the culinary program for the hotel is not the main focus or a pillar for the hotel but everything else is very good room could have been a little bit better with slight interior touch ups but besides that can't complain staff was great tend to go back just there

The front desk staff was very friendly. The elevator broke down while we were there. The room was ok, ceiling was painted two different colors, when the door shuts you had to pull on it to make sure it closed, soap and shampoo bottles were empty in the shower. The beds were not as comfy as I had hoped for a Hilton. The fire alarm went off this morning at 4:55am and we had to go downstairs, false alarm though. Breakfast was lacking.

Overall it was a great place to stay. Only complaint would be the sliding bathroom door. When shut all the way there's a gap between the wall and door allowing you to see right in to someone sitting on the toilet.

There was no hot water in the bathroom. Just slightly warm and the shower drain was very slow. Water built up in base. Guess it was good that the water was cold. We didn\'t stay in the shower for long. It was also very noisy. Our room was at the end of the hall next to the stairwell, back door and maintenance room. Doors were slamming shut continuously until after 10:00 PM. We mentioned these things at check out and no one really cared. Just said "sorry". I would definitely not recommend this particular hotel to anyone.

My family stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for two nights. We arrived at the hotel at 3 pm and our room was not ready. We hung out in the lobby and room was ready at 3:30. The lady at the front desk, Daisy, was very helpful and friendly. Our room was located on the 3rd floor towards the end of the hallway. We never heard noises from the hallway but could hear some noise from neighboring rooms (not a big deal). The room was clean and modern. It did have a slight dog smell though. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion. Our room only had three bath towels but we had four people. I texted the front desk and housekeeping brought an additional towel within ten minutes. We walked both days to the Historic Downtown. The walk took about 20-25 minutes each way. The Old Jail and and trolley stop #1 were close by (about 1 block away). There is a fee of $25 per day for parking at the hotel. I knew this before I booked the hotel but kinda annoying. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel or use many of the amenities. We glanced at the pool but it was closed while we were there. We did not include breakfast in our reservation so not sure how that is. Overall, our family had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.

From the room not being ready until late afternoon, to the ampunt of noise, and the conditions of the property, I would never recommend this property to anyone. I paid extra for a balcony room. Staff is great, hotel is clean and modern. Tellis at the front desk gave us map and told us what to do and where it was located, he was spot on.Really enjoyed our time in St. Augustine and at the hotel. We will be back.

Professionalism is undergrade. Lady on the front desk didn't know about pets policy and being a pets friendly hotel according to her I couldn't leave my pet alone in the room. After reading the policy to her couldn't find where the pet can't stayed by himself in the room. Breakfast service one of the worst, restaurant wasn't crowded but it took 10 minutes to get my order and 20 minutes more to bring a wrong order. After that 25 more minutes to get the order rigth. Very disappointing day we left decided to go to a different place to eat breakfast.

Alana (front desk) was AWESOME. My husband and I had just left Country Inn after a terrible experience, and she made checking in a breeze. She was friendly, empathetic, and efficient. Hilton Garden is clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms, and has a nice breakfast.

I am utterly upset right now with the way we were treated at the breakfast room .We have been a hilton honors member for a while now and have always been very happy with the staff and the service.Today we were reprimanded like a child with two other couples because we didnt wait to be seated at the restaurant by a very rude person called Trish .This woman came right in the middle of our breakfast with an attitude told us “ you know this breakfast is not free right” .I was speechless with the way she treated us as if we have killed somebody.We said we had stayed in the same hotel a month ago and the breakfast was complementary thats why we didnt know , but we said thats ok we would pay .Then she dragged the please be seated sign from a point further away and said this better stay here. I think this is going to be our last visit to this hotel , and will reconsider our membership.This is unacceptable

The customer service is horrible. I just called this morning to follow up on my deposit and I spoke with Sheila and she sounds like she’s very aggravated already early in the morning and I’m asking questions about my bill and she’s like I can send you your receipt so you can see the breakdown and then I’m like well I’m sorry that you sound very aggravated this morning. Just not an overall great experience when you drive hours to get there check in is at 4pm and you have to sit around for 2.5 hrs for a room you are getting charge for but they overbooked so no rooms available at the time.

Such a nice hotel with a great proximity to everything. It has a very posh feel to it. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The lobby had a nice restaurant and bar. Very friendly staff. Out the doors you are right at the Old Town Trolley tour and the Fountain of Youth. You can definitely walk into town and to St. George street. It can be viewed as a bit of a walk, but a lot to see along the way. Would recommend the old jail, museum, store and fountain of youth tour. Perfect if you only have 1 full day. We also loved that they accepted dogs (Golden Retriever) and were fine with him being left alone. Majority of the other hotels didn't allow dogs over 20-30 lbs and they weren't allowed to be left unattended. Main reason we went with the Hilton Garden. It did not disappoint.

Amazing hotel and location. Only about a mile from the historic downtown shops and restaurants. A bar and restaurant is onsite, parking is free and abundant, with an outdoor pool. The staff was great, our room was clean and comfortable, and any noise was minimal.

This property was amazing, the room was spacious with its own balcony. The staff is amazing, breakfast in the bar area was great. The bartender was pleasant to talk to and great service. Uber came and picked us up, took us downtown and brought us home. Don’t waste time trying to find a parking spot downtown. We grabbed a pedicab and he gave us a tour of historic St. Augustine. There's an amazing Italian restaurant within walking distance from the hotel.

It was fine for us to have a place to stay. I would stay here again if in the area. Nothing stood out to me as excellent. The service at breakfast the next morning was awful. Felt as though we were a burden to be there.

Stayed at the Hilton Garden St. Augustine for 2 days on the way down to Miami. Property seems new. Facility is clean and fresh, rooms are spacious. There's a nice hotel bar with surprisingly good food. Try the Pork Belly Tacos. Staff very friendly. It was NFL divisional playoff weekend, and the TV didn't work in our room. We sat in the bar, chatted with the bartender (Tony), who told the manager, who comped us for some snacks while we watched the games from the bar. Made an irritating experience palatable. Hotel location was great for exploring the Historical District. Hotel is located in uptown; maybe 10-15 minute walk from Castillo / beginning of St. George St. Far enough from downtown, without being too far. Parking onsite and free. Juniper Cafe is just a few blocks walk towards the trolley. It's a convenient program. Get up. Juniper for coffee. Trolley. Hop off trolley by the cathedral. Maple Street Biscuit for well...biscuits. Hop on trolley and stop at the top of St. George by the original gate. Goto Ann O'Malley's for a Guinness. Walk home. Fun. Stay here.

For this high end of a price tag, I expected more. The beds were rock hard, parking was limited but i was still charged $20 per day. At almost $20 a pop, the breakfast buffet offers only three silver trays of food. I spent over $300 and I might opt for Marriot or The Hampton next time. At least The Hampton offers free breakfast.

Checked us in to a room that had not been cleaned. When they gave us another room, the manager advised they would credit 50.00 towards the room rate. When I checked out after waiting at an empty front desk for a considerable amount of time, it was noted that no credit had been given. This then took more time to have it corrected. otherwise a good stay, clean hotel, friendly staff.
