Nice place to stay. Has a bar located downstairs, which has a nice selection of drinks. Room was very clean.

Overall the hotel is at a very good location. Breakfast is nice We stayed in the other block with only 1 lift and waiting for the lift is a bit long and exit from the hotel is also a bit troublesome as we have to cross over to the next block for exit.

Lovely hotel. One niggle is the long wait for lifts which meant having to go outside & across the road for breakfast rather than the 2nd floor walkway to the restaurant.

Sign posting to the dining area across the road was appalling . Repeatedly I came across groups of people confused in signless corridors over which corridor to go down. In the end on my return to my room a helpful assistant in the restaurant showed me a lift which took me to the fifth floor . The original info I had been given directed me to a route from the second floor. If it hadn’t been for this later info being provided I would never have returned to stay in your hotel.

Good customer service. Overall is good except the exit to the street level for people staying at the other block. Is really very inconvenient.

Could not fault the hotel for cleanliness, and service ...my only reservation was having to walk out of the hotel ...across a busy road to have breakfast ....also warm plates would be lovely....also not so good the coffee for breakfast ....but the selection of food was amazing and delicious

I recently stayed here and overall had a good experience. The service was okay, with friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel itself is neat, the breakfast was really nice, and I liked that checkout time was at 12pm. Since we mentioned we were having a wedding, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolates, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel is quite big, and finding some of the rooms isn’t very straightforward. Unfortunately, there’s no parking on-site, and carrying a lot of luggage can be a bit stressful, especially since some rooms require quite a bit of walking after getting off the elevator. Thankfully, one of the staff members, Marios, went above and beyond to help us carry all our luggage to our room, his assistance really made a difference and was much appreciated.

Room was spacious and new. Towels were thick and clean. Hot water for shower were almost immediate unlike certain hotels that take a while to heat up. The breakfast selection must be one of the best around. In terms of location it’s very convenient and about 3-5 min to Victoria station where you can catch a train to Gatwick Airport. The bus terminal located here also means many buses end here. Becos the hotel is rather big and strangely designed, it can be a challenge walking through a maze of corridors to find your room.

The room and the building were clean. However, we had to go through an incredibly uncomfortable and long maze from the main building to get to our room. The only elevator on our annex building broke down on the first day and we were forced to take the stairs. Additionally the room key mysteriously stopped working. So after already taking the long hike to the room I had to then go back to the lobby get the key fixed and again make the hike back to the room. When they explain it they make it sound like it’s a simple straight corredor you take to the room but that’s a lie, it’s literally a maze and with luggage it’s incredibly uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Hotel was very clean, beds were very nice and comfortable, good and necessary amenitties. Good breakfast buffet, overal a very good hotel!

Extremely clean and modern room. The room was Also decent size so we weren’t cramped up on each other. I also want to say that every staff member was friendly and helpful and the bellman Mairius was amazing!!! I will return when in London. The location is also great!!!!

The property has many steps. Not accessible for handicap at all. Very tight. Air cooler could not be adjusted. It smelled like mildew in the room.

Pros: Room was clean. Elevator was fast. Cons: Shower floor had broken tiles coming up and was missing grout. We asked to be moved to a different room. The shower in the new room was also missing grout and did not properly drain. We would be standing in inches of water, which felt gross. Pillows were flat and only one per bed. No extra blankets.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Riu Plaza prior to going on a cruise. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed at over our 49 years of marriage. The staff is great and very helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices for everybody. Location near Victoria Station was convenient and the local restaurants were very good. Only downside is the night light in the bathroom (motion activated) which shines into the sleeping area thru a frosted window next to the shower. Should put a shade on the bedroom side to not wake up people sleeping when someone uses the bathroom during the night.

What an amazing stay at the Riu! Breakfast was top notch. Everything from our room to the dining room to the hotel lobbies were spotless! Location across the street from Victoria Station was so convenient. We were able to use the tube for all of our travels around the city. I would not hesitate to book a stay here again. Clean and spacious rooms. Only a few minutes walk from the tube station. Breakfast variety was good. The rooms did not have carpet so may have helped to provide some slippers.

Breakfast starts too late, and the room was tiny and no way was that a double bed. Like a large single. Very poor value for money.

Jolly went above and beyond helping us. We are seniors and he helped us with all our luggage, helped with suggestions and answered all our questions. The hotel, we asked for a room with a view and it didn’t disappoint! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was happy to find a very fluffy extra pillow in the closet.

Room was small and could hardly be des robes as a family room. Not great value for £340 per night. Hugely disappointing

We did not get the same room as advertised it was a closet sized room with NO WINDOW. The room and sheets were dirty and the lighting was awful.

The hotel is very all over the place, bridging a road. If you are on the far side, it's like walking through the corridors of a cruise ship, hugely complicated and a long way. Our room had no out door window (big negative, I'm not paying to live in a cell)! The WIFI is a nightmare to get on to.

Nice hotel in a good location. Breakfast is fantastic. Bell boys and house keeping staff are outstanding, however, front desk personnel really need extensive training in customer service. Their way of supporting guests is far from friendly and proactive. I have visited many Riu hotels in the past and this is the first time that I encounter such bad attitude and lack of interest from front desk personnel.

Probably the worst check-in I have experienced. She did not look like she wanted to be there, she was dismissive, very unpleasant. Beside that breakfast buffet was good, a lot of options. Location is very good as well. Near a train station.

We were so disappointed with our stay, specifically with the staff. We checked into the Presidential Suite. The check-in process was smooth but we did not receive any of the amenities that were included in the rate. When later asked if we were satisfied with the amenities package in our room, we were shocked as there was nothing in the room, not even enough towels. The desk manager explained that with the suite we should have received a basket, as well as vouchers for dinner and drinks. We received none of the above (except later two vouchers for drinks). The manager apologized and said that we would receive all of the amenities before we checked out the next morning. We never received anything. I did mention this again to another front desk manager who made the same promise, only to receive nothing. There also was never any mention of or attempt to rectify that we never received dinner vouchers (since the hotel no longer has a restaurant). We paid for the Presidential Suite, but never received all that we paid for. Only platitudes and empty promises of addressing the shortcomings. Nothing was ever done. In addition, we had trouble reaching the front desk by phone. I called seven times without any answer, my wife over ten times. I also asked for towels. Two bathrobes were delivered instead. Bedding for the sofa bed came, no pillows. Our breakfast room service was late and the order incorrect. Overall: very poor service, bait and switch room amenities. Bad.

We had some difficulties with getting access to the internet, getting our TV to operate Netflix and getting the the room temp. down. We called the front desk and an unfriendly guy kept telling us we had already gotten into the Wifi and had changed the password. He finally came up to the room and made us feel like idiots. He was condescending and continued to tell us that we had changed the password and when he did get it working he told us we had set it to 1234, we didn't do that, but his goal was to make us feel stupid. He then told my girlfriend that he was able to get into Netflix on his phone and that she was doing i wrong, she tried multiple times and he continued to tell her she didn't know what she was doing and then asked us if we were from the US, we said yes and he then told us that was why it didn't work, no apology for berating her. He was about as unprofessional as he could be.

This is a great walkability property. It's about a 5-minute walk to Buckingham Palace. A 30 second walk to Victoria station. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The included breakfast was always great with a bright street level dining facility. Easy access to Victoria station. The vicinity was walkable to many historic sites.

Great location in proximity to the Victoria Underground station. Staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast was awesome.

Amazing hotel by Victoria station which was super convenient as it is a transportation hub with buses, trains etc. Lots of restaurants and take out options and walkable to Westminster and Buckingham. The hotel itself is newly renovated, modern, clean, and our room was spacious. Breakfast included was a plus with lots of options. Would highly recommend the Riu hotel.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—right next to Victoria Station, which made getting around London incredibly easy. Despite the central location, the room was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was of good quality—both contributed to a great night’s sleep. I’d definitely consider staying here again!

Right close to everything in Victoria. Place wanted passports to check-in. If you aren’t a customs agent or an airline or cruise ship, you’re not getting my passport. Place smelled like smoke. Breakfast looked amazing but all the hot food was cold. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Location for a short stay was perfect with Victoria Station so close. The buffet breakfast included was excellent and added great value to our stay. I mistakenly thought there was a restaurant on site for later meals and room service. Meals and room service when travelling are important to us. For this reason only I may not stay there again.

Overall happy with our stay. The staff was for the most part very friendly, unfortunately one guy wasn’t very nice and gave us the wrong bed. However, the hotel was very fresh and clean, as well as the restaurant. The breakfast was overall good expect for the waffles, pancakes and donuts. They were still slightly frozen both the times we ate there. Otherwise the breakfast buffet was very good.

The breakfast was very good , rooms were tidy and comfy. Location of the hotel was great. The internet connection was por though, and we would definitely see a channel that broadcasts in Turkish language. If we come ti London again we will definitely stay at this place again.

Like: - Cleanliness - Breakfast was great! - Gym was small, clean and modern - New - Proximity to Victoria station Dislikes; - Price (533.00) - Deluxe room was tiny. We barely had room for our luggage. - Queen size bed, small for the price we paid - Not clear that the Deluxe room potentially may be in the basement with "no windows". We were offered an upgrade, however, again the room was very small.

I would have given this a perfect rating if they had a lunch/dinner option at the hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent!
