accessible in everything,parking is great,you dont have to worry its infront of your room..so quiet and safe, staff are accomodating,room was spacious and clean (except the microwave, plate was dirty and oily probably forgot to clean it) but to sum it all i’ll still be back and book my stay. like it here!

Excellent economical motel. Exceptionally clean, a bit sparse on amenities, but had mini-fridge & microwave. A what appeared to be a recent renovation. I definitely will book again my next trip to the area.

Rude desk person at check in and this was at about 4pm in the afternoon. There was no wi-fi available. There wasn't even an alarm clock in the room. They had soap but no shampoo and there was no in room coffee which is a standard at every hotel. Basic at best

this is a little gem of economy lodging, though an antiquated motor hotel type facility, it has modern, updated bath. being economy, it is spartan, has microwave and refrig, but bring your own coffee maker or french press. bed could be a bit newer with firmer mattress. overall, very satisfied and hostess was smiling, personable, and helpful.

It’s a quaint little motor court motel from, I’d say, 40’s or 50’s if I had to guess, but it’s clean and in good repair. Good location for my needs. The area feels safe to walk around. There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. The rooms have been recently renovated, walls, floors and bathroom are clean and nicely done. The furniture is dated but it works. Nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave. There are no closets in either of the rooms I’ve stayed in, only one had a rack for hanging clothes. The Wi-Fi is good when it works, I experienced a lack of service one evening of my stay but that’s not too important for me. It would be a problem if I had to rely on it. I’ve stayed here twice already and it’s become my go-to place to stay while I work in the area.

Beds were comfortable enough for a few days (a bit soft for us but truly quite comfortable). Pillows are a bit flat - we brought our own and my parents asked for more. The in room refrigerator and microwave makes a lot possible for cutting costs when it comes to eating out. No coffee maker, but with Safeway and Starbucks across the street - and budget friendly Minutemart next door - that's an easy fix. Rooms were super clean, bathrooms were friendly to my dad who uses a shower chair and cane to get around. We appreciated the minimalist hangers & rack for our event clothing. There is a beautiful park just 2/3 of a mile from the location that we frequented. My parents stayed in 1 room and my partner and I in a separate room. Sun Valley Inn - good for an overnight. We attended a nearby concert, so we stayed here. room is adequate, average, clean. the front door opens onto a motor court. the room has no amenities so bring whatever it is you need, from sundries to coffee. Option is run across the street there is a Starbucks, Café and a Grocery Store.

Prose.... The room was very spacious and had a microwave and refrigerator which was very convenient. Nice TV with cable channels. The room looked like it had just been remodelled and updated, it was very nice....the staff was soo nice too! 10 stars!!! Cons......the beds are sooo old but not bad. When pulling back the blanket I see 2 thick black hairs, so i move the pillow and see crumbs and more hair under it. I did see this on another review so i came with my own pillow and blankets. The room only had a shower, no tub. It had hair in it and I had to rinse it out before I used it. With new really nice rooms they should clean it a little bit better and this would have been an all proes review. Someone else hair is one of the nastiest things to come across in the bed, floor and shower you are to use!!

Check in was easy fast and friendly, the staff including cleaning staff was nice and accommodating. The room was basic but super clean including a good size refrigerator and great value for the price. I was worried about it been clean fresh and modernized since it was so cheap but it was perfect and a great value. Cleaner then many I’ve stayed at that were significantly more expense great experience!

The overall was pretty good for the price we had payed, the only thing we need to report are the towels in the bathroom were really bad not look clean at all, thanks god I brought my own but the rest was pretty well clean really big room with fridge and microwave, quite and really pleasant costumer service, we will be back

The white towels were dingy grey. The bath mat towel was dirty; had food on it. The curtain was partially disconnected and bright light came in so no rest. And super small round thin bar of soap. And the lady at front desk was very rude.

The rooms have been recently renovated and nicely so but the furniture is dated but completely serviceable. The area is very nice and clean, Pleasant Hill is pleasant. There are stores, restaurants and shops within walking distance.

It was pretty bare bones. Furniture and towels were old. Bathroom was redone and newer. Had noisy trucks leave at 4 and 5 am each morning. Except for that pretty quiet. Didn't connect to the wifi.

This property provided the bare minimum, the room itself didn’t provide any closet space, the bathroom had filthy towels, a bar of soap and toilet paper, no cable or even basic channels on the tv, and the worse of it all was the bed, super stiff and the pillows had no support. I would never stay at this motel again even for its cheap price.

Staff was very rude and noisy. I left my new 1400 dollar phone in the room and came back an hour after checking out and tracking it back to the room on my find my phone app and they lied about it. I had to make a police report. Thieves, very rude and rooms are very dirty with a lot of sketchy people in and out at all hours

I know it was cheap but so inspiring. On check in, I was greeted as if I had popped by to ask directions. The lady did not smile and just pointed to a check in form rather than taking to me. Room itself is old, basic but clean. I’d give this a miss.

Very quiet and safe feeling area. Downtown area is right around the corner with everything you can think of. The people here are extremely nice! Very glad my coworker and I chose this place.

The white towels were dingy grey. The bath mat towel was dirty; had food on it. The curtain was partially disconnected and bright light came in so no rest. And super small round thin bar of soap. And the lady at front desk was very rude.

accessible in everything,parking is great,you dont have to worry its infront of your room..so quiet and safe, staff are accomodating,room was spacious and clean (except the microwave, plate was dirty and oily probably forgot to clean it) but to sum it all i’ll still be back and book my stay. like it here!

Just finished a blistering hike of Mt. Diablo and this motel had everything I wanted in an expensive motel - hot shower, large bed, Law & Order on tv, and cheap food within walking distance.

Very quiet and safe feeling area. Downtown area is right around the corner with everything you can think of. The people here are extremely nice! Very glad my coworker and I chose this place.

The rooms have been recently renovated and nicely so but the furniture is dated but completely serviceable. The area is very nice and clean, Pleasant Hill is pleasant. There are stores, restaurants and shops within walking distance.

It’s a quaint little motor court motel from, I’d say, 40’s or 50’s if I had to guess, but it’s clean and in good repair. Good location for my needs. The area feels safe to walk around. There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. The rooms have been recently renovated, walls, floors and bathroom are clean and nicely done. The furniture is dated but it works. Nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave. There are no closets in either of the rooms I’ve stayed in, only one had a rack for hanging clothes. The Wi-Fi is good when it works, I experienced a lack of service one evening of my stay but that’s not too important for me. It would be a problem if I had to rely on it. I’ve stayed here twice already and it’s become my go-to place to stay while I work in the area.

Sun Valley Inn - good for an overnight. We attended a nearby concert, so we stayed here. room is adequate, average, clean. the front door opens onto a motor court. the room has no amenities so bring whatever it is you need, from sundries to coffee. Option is run across the street there is a Starbucks, Café and a Grocery Store.

Not fancy but a fridge and microwave. VERY reasonable for the area !! The location is perfect walking distance to food and drinks. To me location was 5 minutes to everywhere I needed to go 👍 very quiet at night 🌉

What a pleasant stay. It has been a while since I stayed at a motel and forgot how convenient and easy the experience is compared to a hotel. The room was clean, spacious and honestly a delight for just $80 a night. No rowdy neighbors, no loud noises keeping me up, newer A/C unit, remodeled bathroom, large fridge, decent desk. Bed was mediocre in comfort and the typical freebies like shampoo and coffee are not provided, but again for the price not a problem! Convenient location to walk to grocery or restaurants. I thought I was taking a bit of a risk with the low price but the reviews were 8 out of 10 so I decided to take the chance and was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience! A true 8 out of 10 when we consider the price :) well done!

Our experience at the hotel was good. It’s a bare minimum hotel which is fine for a business trip. Our only problem was with housekeeping entering our room even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door.
