Excellent Stay with Exceptional Host We had a wonderful stay here! The owner, Ditto, was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to help us during check-in—he even carried our luggage and shared great tips for touring the town. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and beautifully renovated. The bathroom was also large, modern, and sparkling clean. Everything felt brand new. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented as well. The location is perfect if you’re arriving on foot or by taxi—everything you want to see in town is within easy walking distance, and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. However, if you’re driving, finding parking can be quite challenging unless you’re familiar with the area. Ditto kindly provided parking information and helped us through the process, which made a big difference. Thanks to his warm hospitality and assistance, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous hotel right in the very heart of the historic centre of Palermo. The rooms are comfortable and surprisingly quiet given how close to the centre of the city it is located. The roof terrace is a fantastic place to start your days with breakfast being taken together with a stunning view over the rooftops of Palermo. The hotel is situated in an ancient palazzo and there are stairs to negotiate. This may not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues, but climbing the stairs is a good way of working off some of those gelato and aperitivo calories! Highly recommended.

We had the basic room but it had all the amenities we needed for our one night stay, and it was impeccably clean. The hotel is located up a flight of stairs (second or third floor), but our room was a half-floor above ground level which meant we didn't have to carry luggage up so far. When we did have to check out we stored our luggage with the front desk for a few hours, and staff came and helped carry our heavier bags up! On that note, the staff at the hotel we're amazing- kind, helpful and super knowledgeable about the area. Lastly, the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely with great selection, a friendly ghost, and amazing rooftop views. I would stay here again! Two things to note! The shower is tiny in the room we had and getting into it was a challenge as the door doesn't open very wide, and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible if that's a consideration for you.

Small, boutique accommodation in the heart of Palermo. Convenient location but can be a little tricky to find. I'd recommend getting there via taxi. Large, clean and comfortable room. Great terrace for breakfast with an amazing spread of food. Be aware that there is no elevator and reception is located on the second floor. Rooms are on floors 2 and 3.

Lena is the real star of this show! Her cute little face is there greet everyone. She even outshines the stunning view from the breakfast rooftop, which is tough competition. The owners are wonderful! They’re so kind and helpful! Their directions are clear, and we had a lovely stay. The woman who serves breakfast is also wonderful! We loved staying here. The location is great too. For those who struggle with steps or carrying luggage up multiple flights, you should stay elsewhere. Otherwise, stay here.

Great location in heart of old town palermo. Location hard to find as no signage. If cabbie had not carried bags to door we might not have found! Staff was very friendly and helpful. No elevator so 40 to 60 steps up to lobby and 3rd floor. Nice patio for breakfast with a view over the rooftops and large comfortable room.

Highly recommend the property. We had a nice and large modern room with a/c and heat. Kettle and tea. 10 minutes to train station Centrale, where you can also take the airport shuttle and buses to everywhere. Breakfast on rooftop with spectacular views. Everything touristic easily walkable, restaurants galore. The only issue for some people would be that you have to walk up to the third floor, no elevator in the old palazzo. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were not disappointed with any of their recommendations. We would certainly go back, if our paths lead us to Palermo again.

Udsigten fra altanen er spektakulær! Værelset var rent, fint og havde en dejlig altan man kunne komme ud på. Sengen flot redt. Eneste lille minus var at køleskabet ikke fungerede og at det lille lys på badeværelset (over spejlet) ikke duede. Medarbejder Chitty var en perfekt værtinde! Hun står med morgenmaden og gør værelserne rent. Hun var glad, venlig og super serviceorienteret. Stor ros til hende. Check ind og ud gik super nemt.

Beautifully clean and friendly place in a great central location which felt very safe at night. It's not 24 hour reception but communication was excellent and codes worked perfectly. Place was immaculate and modern. Fridge and kettle in room with tea etc big bonus. Ear plugs provided though I didn't need. Note if you arrive out of hours you will need to carry your suitcase upstairs so don't over pack. Breakfast on the terrace with some great pastries etc.

Olvidé el nombre del chavo de recepción, pero era INCREÍBLEMENTE AGRADABLE. Muy linda persona, nos explicó toda la zona y fueron muy útiles sus recomendaciones. La zona donde nos quedamos es excelente, ya que queda todo cerca y a caminata. Le pusimos 4 estrellas (que en realidad le pondría 4.5, pero no se puede) porque las almohadas estaban un poco sucias y eso nos dio un poco de desconfianza, pero fuera de eso todo excelente.

Staff was very welcoming and also super helpful. They helped us navigate the city on a map and also called a taxi for us for the airport, and helped us with our luggage. Rooms were spacious and clean. Area surrounding hotel wasn’t the nicest or cleanest but still felt safe.

Right in downtown, the room was good, wifi was great and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the mountains was a $1 million view. Close to all restaurants and walking section of the city. Staff were friendly, communicative and very helpful.

La Terrazzo Sul Centro exceeded all our expectations. Our room was lovely and had a beautiful view over rooftops to Il Gesu church, it was also very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel location was fantastic, in easy walking distance of Palermo’s main attractions. The staff made us feel very at home and the breakfasts were excellent with stunning views from the roof terrace. We definitely recommend and look forward to hopefully returning.

The owner, Ditto, was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to help us during check-in—he even carried our luggage and shared great tips for touring the town. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and beautifully renovated. The bathroom was also large, modern, and sparkling clean. Everything felt brand new. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented as well. The location is perfect if you’re arriving on foot or by taxi—everything you want to see in town is within easy walking distance, and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. However, if you’re driving, finding parking can be quite challenging unless you’re familiar with the area. Ditto kindly provided parking information and helped us through the process, which made a big difference. Thanks to his warm hospitality and assistance, we truly enjoyed our stay.

The million dollar view from the terrace is good enough to compensate for any issues. Vita, the manager, provided excellent and unending recommendations with a patience blordering on the the miraculous. You'll be pressed to find better value during your travels. While the breakfast may be simple, it is sufficient and catered with a smile by the delightful signora who packed us a "pocket" breakfast on the last day.

Very clean and safe and walkable area. Staff Emiliano and Vino are always there to help and guide you when needed. Vino is very informative and knowledgeable about his area and eager to share with you. They are always approachable and meet any need you might have. The breakfast and view was great but the season I chose to visit had 2 days of rain so I would have like to enjoy the terrace some more without the rain. Breakfast was excellent. I realized that breakfast with bacon and eggs is just an American things and the rest of the world doesn’t do that haha. I did enjoy the Sicilian style of breakfast. Would definitely go again to this place

We stayed at this property twice, once at the beginning of our trip and once at the end. On both occasions, "Vito" the check-in agent was outstanding. A very nice guy who was a wealth of information and extremely helpful, patient and kind. The rooftop breakfast served every day was amazing and the views incredible. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay! The hotel is very centrally located, which made it easy to explore the city. Emiliano went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—he personally greeted us on Sunday when we arrived, even though it was outside regular hours. What truly touched us was his kindness the morning we left: we had to head to the airport at 4:30 AM, and he showed up to help with our luggage and ensure the taxi arrived on time. His care and dedication made a real difference in our experience.

Was easy to check in and check out after hours and the breakfast wad good every morning. The location is extremely convenient. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station and a shorter walk to a bunch of restuarants and things to do. The front desk also gave a lot of recommendations that were super helpful and lots of fun. Great experience overall.

Great location in heart of old town palermo. Location hard to find as no signage. If cabbie had not carried bags to door we might not have found! Staff was very friendly and helpful. No elevator so 40 to 60 steps up to lobby and 3rd floor. Nice patio for breakfast with a view over the rooftops and large comfortable room.

Very very convenient. Right in the middle of town & steps away from the best Cannolo in town at the church. Parking was easy where they directed me. However, Driving Is Absolutely Crazy in Palermo!!! The breakfast was adequate (not a lot of options. The room was spacious and could be dark enough to sleep all day. Great location!

Just a stone’s throw from La Martorana, San Cataldo, Quattro Canti, etc. The rooftop terrace where you have breakfast is lovely and sunny, with a splendid view. Although they didn’t have boiled eggs, the breakfast was plentiful and good. We booked a room on a lower floor that looked out into a light shaft. Consequently, it was rather dark and chilly. Ideal in the summer, but in spring a bit chilly. Ask for a room on the upper floors if possible. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The gentleman at the front desk provided us with lots of tips and recommendations (the pasticerria in the monastery!!) The breakfast staff were friendly and engaging, the cleaning staff very thorough. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Terrazza Sul Centro! The hotel is centrally located next to the historic city center, making it extremely convenient and easy to walk around and sightsee all the nearby attractions. The rooftop patio/terrace is by far the highlight of this hotel with beautiful views of Palermo (highly recommend going around sunset). We enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast up there with savory and sweet options to accompany our morning cappuccinos while admiring the view. We can't thank Vito enough for being the most welcoming and friendly host! He carried our bags up multiple flights of stairs to our rooms, answered all our questions about Palermo and neighboring cities in Sicily, and suggested the best food/restaurant recommendations! If we ever return to Palermo (fingers crossed), we would without a doubt stay here again!

Lena is the real star of this show! Her cute little face is there greet everyone. She even outshines the stunning view from the breakfast rooftop, which is tough competition. The owners are wonderful! They’re so kind and helpful! Their directions are clear, and we had a lovely stay. The woman who serves breakfast is also wonderful! We loved staying here. The location is great too. For those who struggle with steps or carrying luggage up multiple flights, you should stay elsewhere. Otherwise, stay here.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely perfect, right in the center and close to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop terrace was fantastic, and having breakfast there with the beautiful surroundings was a real highlight. We would definitely recommend this place and happily stay here again!
