walkable and close to everything on the boardwalk. What could use improvement is security. Anyone can come in. the ONLY place that requires a swipe card is getting into your room. That was a bit unsettling. As a security and IT surveillance tech, there was little security in some places. Just an observation.

The stay was fine and the room was clean. The day before we left the room was not cleaned and beds made. Small amenities like free bike usage was hampered by the bike tires low and no way to put air in the tires. In the lobby they had free coffee each morning which was a great perk. The parking is a bit cramped because the spaces are too small. And at times it is hectic. Staff was polite and helpful. Allowed me to park my car when arriving early which was appreciated. Easy access to the beach. The Tiki bar was great, with a friendly staff and good drinks. Nice pool with shady and sunny spots.

Overall a pleasant experience. Can’t beat the hotel location and convenience for a small family of four. For the price we paid I wouldn’t have expected some of the cons. Pros: location, free beach chairs, plenty of parking, clean sheets and comfortable beds, air conditioning worked great, great kitchenette with sink/fridge/utensils, awesome oceanfront views, plenty of towels, was able to check in early(for a small fee), Bull on the Beach restaurant attached to hotel was great!(we ate their multiple times). Cons: Shower floor mat was tearing and had black mold on bottom(issue was quickly fixed after calling front desk, but for the black mold to be there; the issue must of been overlooked for some time), low water pressure, balcony concrete stained, parking spaces are small, Not many people at Coconut club deck restaurant/bar at the hotel, some of light fixtures appeared to be starting to rust, would have been nice to have a shower station to rinse off after beach, stairwells smelled like urine in certain spots.

This is our second time staying at this location and we had just as good of an experience as the first time! The property location is perfect and super convenient for activities for our two children to do! The two pools on site are also perfect and were well maintained! Rooms could use a little upgrading and the AC unit made a terrible noise that we would have to turn it off intermittently.

The parking lot fills up, like most other ocean/boardwalk fronts, but we were able to get in the very last spot and left it there our entire stay. The housekeeping staff was wonderful and did a great and speedy job cleaning. The lady at the front desk seemed a little rude when checking in and getting towels, as she did not immediately or warmly acknowledge my presence, but got the job done, I guess. Overall, the room was spacious and clean, AC got nice and cold, the shower water was nice and hot, lots of pressure, and the beds were comfortable. The amenities (heated pool, bar, and restaurant) were also nice additions to the close walk to the beach and boardwalk. Would stay again.

Great place but needs to be said they charge 10 dollars a day to park (should be free) They state you get 2 free lounge chair rentals but want to charge you 32 dollars for an umbrella. Figured they would be included. Place is very nice and a fun place to stay in a perfect location. Just didn’t like the small extra charges.

Would definitely stay here again. Staff is helpful and friendly. They provide water and coffee in the lobby. They even have books to take to the beach if you’d like. . Our room on second floor opened up to the pool area that has two pools and plenty of seating. Everything well maintained. Parked our car for three days and walked to everything Hotel is in a great location. Lots to do!

Our stay at Park Place Hotel was fabulous! The hotel was beautiful, smelled wonderful, and was so extremely clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and the view on the balcony was fantastic! Staff was super friendly as well. It's at the perfect location on the boardwalk and is within walking distance to the inlet and plenty of restaurants as well. We will most definitely be back!!

Water pressure was bad room was very dusty accumulated dust behind the beds and chairs. Shower door needed to be cleaned. Back of the door walking in needs to be clean emergency alarm went off Wednesday early morning causing everyone to have to evacuate ADA accessories was not available to come down from the seventh floor. I had to crawl down. I am not happy pay too much. Money is expecting more.

I felt catfished by this hotel. The lobby is nicely renovated but, the rooms desperately needs updating. The carpet is disgusting! I felt so yucky here.

Helpful staff and the room were bright and airy. Sheets and towels clean and fresh. Loved our ocean view room. Only complaint, the bathtub, had black stains and needed a deep cleaning. I wore my shower shoes in the shower as my solution and did not make a complaint with the hotel.

We have stayed at the Park Place before and enjoy that its literally steps from the beach. We decided to stay this time in a Oceanfront room. The view was amazing. That being said, the rooms needs to be updated. Looking forward to our next visit to OC MD

My original booking said ocean view-which anytime I booked with an ocean view, I had a balcony. It also said “restaurant” which I just assumed the restaurant was on the same floor. When we arrived and got to our room, there was a bar directly outside our sliding door about 5 ft away. This would have been great if I was in my 20’s, but I have two small children. The room was also not up to standard for a 500 a night room. The toilet was clogged, the sliding door was stuck shut and the lever was rusty. The ceiling had water stains on it, and the room smelled musty. We went to the front desk with all of these issues and they simply said “there is nothing we can do for you”. After being at the hotel for 10 minutes and going to the front desk 3 times, we decided to just check out-after driving 4 hours to Ocean City. Upon checking out they said they would not be giving us a refund either. Luckily I found an ocean front available down the street. So now the 1500 I paid plus the other 1700 for the new Hotel, I should have just went to Aruba for Christ sake!

The property was amazing, the only thing that you should be aware of when booking is expedia has Ocean front rooms advertised, but they don't tell you its a shared balcony that a restaurant also has tables on. Kind of weird opening your ocean front curtains to a family eating lunch and dinner 5 ft away

Hotel has very dated rooms with much needed tlc. The rooms are small. and you can hear through the walls. 520 The walls are chipping and the drop ceiling track is rusted. The carpet is old and the laminate in the bathroom is peeling apart. The shower doors screech and and track is dirty. The couch is uncomfortable and the water pressure sucks. Pillows are small and miss matched. Ocean view is nice but the balcony is very small. Room 214 Not a room for a family with children or one wanting privacy. All the same issues as 520 but this rooms sliding door is 6ft away from the bar open to the public from 12pm to 9pm. You can not leave the curtains open to see the view of the ocean because there are always other people looking in your room. They painted a blue square to signify your area, which was about 2 wide feet by 6 feet in length. There is absolutely no separation from the rest of the deck, which is also a restaurant. Restaurant patrons and other hotel guests will sit directly infront of your room leaving you feeling uncomfortable as your whole room and personal belongings are on display. The hotel is right on the board walk and staff is freindly. If this hotel was updated it would be a great location as it is downtown and minutes form everything. Miss Paula did help us out by changing our room the second night which we greatly appreciated. All in all the hotel is over priced for the accommodations

That being said, the hotel needs quite a few repairs and updates and it’s hard to relax in the mornings with housekeeping slamming doors and banging into walls with their carts. And to make matters worse, upon check-in the receptionist loudly stated my room number for the lobby to hear not once, but twice. In 2025, that’s just unacceptable. Everyone should be aware of the dangers of sharing a hotel guest’s room number.

I got an ocean view room. It was a view of a restaurant. I was less than thrilled. My sliding doors literally opened up into an outdoor restaurant. I had no privacy and couldn’t enjoy the ocean from my room. I paid extra for an ocean view with a balcony, not to watch people eating at their tables at a restaurant.

The room needed some love mold in the showers ceilings look like they have been thru a fight. The beds were very very very firm and uncomfortable so much so my husband and I slept on sofa bed the last night there and got better sleep. The Ocean view was gorgeous and the location of hotel was perfect to go out and be in the middle of everything on the boardwalk.

We like the shower pressure and temperature. The hotel itself is nice. The staff at front desk was helpful when I had troubles checking in. The outdoor pool was nice and not too crowded. Unfortunately we had more cons than pros. The queen beds were so incredibly hard, uncomfortable, and noisy, we got horrible sleep all week. Our view of the top of the Coconut Club roof was not what we we're expecting, bad view. The balconies are small. If you're staying for a week I'd recommend getting a room if they provide it with a stove. Little counter space even if you brought a crockpot. Also, no outside "foot" showers, just on the 2nd floor inside pool area.

I made a reservation in March to celebrate my wedding anniversary in June and upon arrival the front desk staff performed a bait and switch and offered a room different than what was reserved. Room provided had blocked ocean and boardwalk views on a lower floor. When we asked to be relocated, they advised no other rooms were available. When the reservation was cancelled (after one hour on site), they refused to reimburse any of the amount charged. We’ve been trying to work with manager Laura on any refund resolutions but have been unsuccessful thus far. We’re being charged for full stay when my wife and I didn’t even stay one night. What a shame how this business allows their staff to take advantage of paying customers. Hoping someone from their corporate office sees this and makes this right.

Front desk people did not greet us upon arrival. The manager seemed very frazzled and didn’t even bother attending to us while we were standing there waiting. Housekeeping was not the greatest. Barely anything was wiped down or swept. I purposely left things around to see if it would get cleaned and it wasn’t. Definitely not my first choice to ever stay here again.

Loved staying right on the boardwalk near the rides and pier. We didn’t have to drive anywhere once during our stay! Appreciated the mermaid party for the kiddos as the pool that the hotel put on.

We have stayed at Park Place several times. The room, pool, and property are always clean and well maintained. The location can't be beat! We stayed for 4 nights and only drove to one place the entire stay. It is walkable to dining and entertainment options for the whole family. The beach is literally right outside the back entrance. It is family friendly with multi-generational family vacationers.

Loved the towel animals that greeted us in our room upon our arrival. Nice touch! Hotel was clean and very convenient to boardwalk and beach. Wonderful ocean view from our balcony. Really nice to have easy access to The Coconut Club for a drink and supper in the evening. Great place to stay on the boardwalk! I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here about 10 years ago and the property was very nice, so I decided to come back for a weekend trip. Overall the stay was okay, nothing great nothing terrible. The bathroom was ok, the tub was very dirty. The nonslip mat had edges that were just black from dirt and the shower liner was very worn and ripped. The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the complimentary water, and the staff was very nice. I however did not understand why they charged 20$ upon arrival in resort fees and then in a second transaction charged a hold fee as if they could not do both at the same time. The ocean front balcony was nice, however it did not seem like they cleaned it. The pool was nice, I would recommend to them some more shade options as there were only 2-3 covers all occupied for larger parties. Honestly for the quality of the stay you're better off going to a comfort inn/hampton inn where they have a continental breakfast, rooms are overpriced for quality.

First time at Park Place and we loved it! Conveniently located on the boardwalk and close to everything we wanted to do. The property was nicely decorated with bright colors and beach theme. Our room was nice and clean, comfortable beds and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! The shower/tub needs to be updated but otherwise the room was great. Nice pool area and loved the tiki bar. Will definitely be back again!

Overall a pleasant experience. Can’t beat the hotel location and convenience for a small family of four. For the price we paid I wouldn’t have expected some of the cons. Pros: location, free beach chairs, plenty of parking, clean sheets and comfortable beds, air conditioning worked great, great kitchenette with sink/fridge/utensils, awesome oceanfront views, plenty of towels, was able to check in early(for a small fee), Bull on the Beach restaurant attached to hotel was great!(we ate their multiple times). Cons: Shower floor mat was tearing and had black mold on bottom(issue was quickly fixed after calling front desk, but for the black mold to be there; the issue must of been overlooked for some time), low water pressure, balcony concrete stained, parking spaces are small, Not many people at Coconut club deck restaurant/bar at the hotel, some of light fixtures appeared to be starting to rust, would have been nice to have a shower station to rinse off after beach, stairwells smelled like urine in certain spots.

The front desk staff could be friendlier. Saying good morning and looking up at the guests should be mandatory. The location was good, near everything. Great location right on the boardwalk. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I booked an oceanfront deck room instead of balcony. Upgraded at checking. As an FYI deck looks on the ocean so also the smoking area. If you would be on deck level would probably have to close your curtains a lot since anyone can be out there at anytime. Rooms were up to date. Very clean. Kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Shower was hot and great water pressure. Had coffee makers in room but wish there was a coffee shop. We were there in November and seemed like a tiki bar and restaurant are open in summer. Outdoor pool looked nice but not open in November. Price was good in November for being on the boardwalk. Would stay here again in winter but not summer. Too expensive. Overall a great stay.
