The rooms had balconies so I could get fresh air. Newly remodeled. Clean. Comfortable king bed. Hot water. Would have preferred a tub. Big screen TV with lots of channels. Rather spartan as far as amenities go but it had what I needed, like a refrigerator. I had to call the front desk for a hair dryer but the the clerk brought one right up. Friendly staff. The motel did not have an elevator which I normally need because I have a cooler luggage on a hand truck. They assigned me a room on the second floor that was accessible from the back parking lot and still had a balcony on one side of the hallway(the motel was built into a hill). I was impressed that they actually listened to my needs when I reserved the room and gave a me a room with a balcony and accessible for my wheeled gear.

We stay here every time we go visiting family. It is quiet at night. Thats a good thing since we travel with our pets. We like that there are two entrances to the room 1 on the outside and one indoor halls for those cold days.. during the summer the pool is nice and kept clean you can to a swim or just enjoying a relaxing time around the pool.

Would normally he iffy about a Motel6 but this was for a short overnighter traveling thru, the price was very good and because of good reviews from other Expedia travelers we booked here. Did not disappoint. We were on top floor, unit had very high ceilings and felt huge. Except for stairwell carpet, everything has been renovated. Major s: Mew non-carpet flooring, great mattresses, new towels, room had a private balcony (was totally not expecting that. Safe interior corridors and while stairwell carpet is dirty, at least they are wide open stairwells with shorter risers (easy steps to climb). Not open yet, but had a nice outdoor pool with two-stories of patia area. Only neg: The new nightstand sconce lights have LED bulbs so were way too bright in my opinion. Not a fan of the LED bulbs. Otherwise, great place, super convenient to hwy but quiet. Thanks fellow reviewers for the assist on picking this place

the rooms look like a jail cell. cement paid solid white nothing on the walls. our first room smelled like cigrarettes. we moved rooms and were charged $8. the new room had three bars of open used soap still in the shower, black hair was also in the shower. the bed was comfortable enough. the pool was nice and clean and warm. the area feels safe but we did hear alot of yelling. the parking lot is well lit. there is no elevator so prepare for that.

My adult family stayed two nights. Had a great back spot, close to the dog area. My 2 poodles were welcome to stay, no extra charge. They even provided poop bags in the dog area, it's not fenced so you need a leash. Pool was closed, October visit, but looked to be a good size for when it is open. The room was clean. I liked the fact carpet wasn't in the room. The hard floors look and feel so much cleaner. Bed was comfortable but pillows are small and only 2 per bed. My biggest complaint would be the water pressure in the shower. If you have a lot of hair give an extra 5 minutes to get the soap out. Overall nice clean room, great location,. A lot of really good restaurants close by, walking or driving and 10 minutes to KFC museum in Corbin. Next door also has a big bowling, movie and game place. Great for kids and adults.

Our room was very clean. How ever the steps going up to the room was very dirty and ragged looking and the whole hallway just smelled dirty. Our room was very clean like I said but very basic. If you just need a place to just lay your head down then it would ok. But if you looking for a place to lounge around and relax there is nothing in the room but the bed and a little plastic chair. The staff was very nice and helpful as well.

Stink bugs all in the room. On the ceiling, tub, and bed. Once we removed them they were coming in from the space under the door all day. Bathroom sink was ready to fall off the wall.

The first room smelled terribly musty/moldy, was told it was due to “all the rain” they had been having and not to turn the a/c down, that would make it worse. Requested a new room because that one was unacceptable. So stayed the first night, just too tired to move, although didn’t sleep well. The floor was dirty, mold/mildew in shower and one of the walls was cracked and broken. After we moved the next day, it was much better. Room was not smelly at all. Shower was cleaner. Floors were somewhat cleaner. No coffee maker in rooms. Not always able to get in office, they are out doing other things. The phone kept falling off the wall. Knowing to definitely stay upstairs I might book there again.

Motel is conveniently located near the highway and a couple of restaurants. Bed was clean, the overall room is ok. However the AC was loud making like a …”paper rustling “ sound. Add to that the constant bathroom whistle from the tank getting refilled and it was enough to keep me up all night.

Right off the highway, clean and quiet. The one thing I did notice, which can be quite inconvenient for anyone traveling with littles, is there was no bathtub we only had a stand up shower but other than that it was a decent place to stop for a quick couple hours of sleep

This is the 2nd time we stayed here, going to our destination and then coming back. Rooms are big, clean laminate floors, Clean updated rooms, Save neighborhood. We walked to nearby mexican restaurant, good food and great prices. Would definitely stay and recommend this place. safe neighborhood

Great spot for a place to sleep on a long trip. Huge room, updated, super clean and comphy mattress. No frills like artwork or exra furniture. But not needed for our stay. Only minor complaint was there were only 3 small and thin pillows on a k8ng size bed. But we would stay again for the overall value.

Surprisingly nice. Motels in this area were pricey so I decided to give Motel 6 a try since it was just one night. Hadn't stayed in one in decades. Turned out to be much nicer than expected. Photo is accurate. Desk clerk was super nice. Room was comfortable. Bed was especially comfy. No issues.

Check in and out was super simple. No shampoo or conditioner in rooms only small bar of soap. Bed felt like it was laying downhill. A bit noisy. Roims had been renovated recently so things did look modern/up to date. Hallways reeked of smoke/odor. Prime location to I-75 and multiple restaurants. It was an Ok stop for an overnight stay.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Literally a mattress on a piece of flat wood. Not sure there was box springs. Clean inside and you can tell it was remodeled. Do better on the beds.

We arrived to check in 20 mjnutes early to locked doors. When someone finally pulled up we were told we could check in for 20 extra dollars but then told no to come back at 3. We left and came back an hour later to a locked door and having to wait for someone to show up. No blankets. A sheet and a thin thing that is not a blanket. Hard, flat pillows and hard flat bed. Dead bugs in the window. Burns in the bedspreads...there was just nowhere else for us to stay because of the holiday. The stairs up the three floors were filthy horrible looks like an industrial site. No elevators..am handicapped and had to get up the three flights...I mean we could go on, but I think you get the idea. My money was a total waste that we will never get back.

We arrived at this hotel around 3:15 pm last September 27th. The staff in office told me that their housekeeper clean at hotel room after 3:00 pm when she called housekeeper to clean. We went in room after we been waited about one hour. And then we left for our family dinner late on time. We are unhappy and wast our time and we waited about one hour after 3:00 pm. Smile 😎
We arrived at this hotel around 3:15 pm last September 27th. The staff in office told me that their housekeeper clean at hotel room after 3:00 pm when she called housekeeper to clean. We went in room after we been waited about one hour. And then we left for our family dinner late on time. We are unhappy and wast our time and we waited about one hour after 3:00 pm. Smile 😎

The first room smelled terribly musty/moldy, was told it was due to “all the rain” they had been having and not to turn the a/c down, that would make it worse. Requested a new room because that one was unacceptable. So stayed the first night, just too tired to move, although didn’t sleep well. The floor was dirty, mold/mildew in shower and one of the walls was cracked and broken. After we moved the next day, it was much better. Room was not smelly at all. Shower was cleaner. Floors were somewhat cleaner. No coffee maker in rooms. Not always able to get in office, they are out doing other things. The phone kept falling off the wall. Knowing to definitely stay upstairs I might book there again.

Handy location away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the big cities, Easy on-off of I-75 on the way south to Florida. Room was clean and tidy and had the basics for a great price. There was a bit of road noise from the interstate since the motel is at the bottom of the valley and semis like using their engine brakes. But no problem sleeping.

Would normally he iffy about a Motel6 but this was for a short overnighter traveling thru, the price was very good and because of good reviews from other Expedia travelers we booked here. Did not disappoint. We were on top floor, unit had very high ceilings and felt huge. Except for stairwell carpet, everything has been renovated. Major s: Mew non-carpet flooring, great mattresses, new towels, room had a private balcony (was totally not expecting that. Safe interior corridors and while stairwell carpet is dirty, at least they are wide open stairwells with shorter risers (easy steps to climb). Not open yet, but had a nice outdoor pool with two-stories of patia area. Only neg: The new nightstand sconce lights have LED bulbs so were way too bright in my opinion. Not a fan of the LED bulbs. Otherwise, great place, super convenient to hwy but quiet. Thanks fellow reviewers for the assist on picking this place

We do wish we had searched a little longer for a place with a coffee maker in the room, but with McDonald's in walking distance, we will survive LOL. We ate at Applebee's which is a quick drive or walk if you want to stretch your legs. We will be hiking to one of the water falls in the Daniel Boone National Forest later this morning so we do love the location.

My adult family stayed two nights. Had a great back spot, close to the dog area. My 2 poodles were welcome to stay, no extra charge. They even provided poop bags in the dog area, it's not fenced so you need a leash. Pool was closed, October visit, but looked to be a good size for when it is open. The room was clean. I liked the fact carpet wasn't in the room. The hard floors look and feel so much cleaner. Bed was comfortable but pillows are small and only 2 per bed. My biggest complaint would be the water pressure in the shower. If you have a lot of hair give an extra 5 minutes to get the soap out. Overall nice clean room, great location,. A lot of really good restaurants close by, walking or driving and 10 minutes to KFC museum in Corbin. Next door also has a big bowling, movie and game place. Great for kids and adults.

Newly renovated. Very clean. Pet friendly. If your looking for shampoo , coffee extras it’s not at this hotel. But we was just needing a quick place to stay for one night. So cleanliness and pet friendly definitely replaces the no extras.

The room was very clean, the rates were great, loved the AC because the fan stayed on all the time. The issues I had were: 1) when I went in the locked front door there was an open backdoor. Not just unlocked but open. That scared me. It went to some hallway. I checked the room and the shower because I didn't know if someone could have come in. 2) the water in the shower never got hot. Besides that the place was great.
