Great stay, can’t ask for anything better. Stayed in the Krug room it was massive, bed was great. Bathroom luxurious. Everything has that classic luxury feel in the hotel. Spa was great too. Thank you real nice place.

The room was spotless it was so clean. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. We had such a good time at the pool with kids. Amazing hotel. Overall was soo pleased with out stay.

Hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. Location was quiet and great location. Food was to a good standard. However room had no addtions you would normally find, ie tooth brush and paste,ear buds et al. No porter service and mini was had no contents less small milk for hot drinks. Swimming pool was great, however located in seperate annex to hotel. Not ideal when wearing bathrobe and hotel slippers. Overall hotel was fine, somewhat over priced based on room and services in room.

Stunning Hotel Spa, room was superb, every staff member was happy and had time for you. The Spa was a dwlight to yse with a decent hot sauna & Steam room, jacuzzi jets were wonderfully powerful & a lovely pool to swim in. The bar food was great & the resturant food the next day was very tasty. Was an absolutely pleasure to stay there, coulfnt failt it.

Our weekend stay was very good. The staff are very attentive and couldn’t do more for you. The sports facilities , swimming pool, gym, sauna, hot tub and steam room are all in excellent order and well maintained. Dining is exceptional whether it’s Breakfast or Evening Dinner. A really great place to relax in very historic surroundings.

This venue exceeded our expectations. We were staying overnight after a long drive at the end of a working day, heading on to an appointment next day. We'd chosen New Hall due to the location and possibility of some pampering. What we hadn't factored in was the quality of the restaurant. I feel churlish for having called to check that feeding vegans would be OK. There were several excellent vegan options on the dinner menu and on the breakfast menu. Service was excellent and the chef is a genius. Spa next morning did not disappoint. A steam room with genuine heat and steam! a good (small) sauna, lovely pool, all spotlessly clean and well attended. One of the best value stays we've had in the UK. Highly recommended.

We have just come back from an amazing weekend at New Hall Hotel and Spa. It is a beautiful historic hotel with clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. There is good size pool, which is kept at the perfect temperature and guests can also use the sauna, steam room and hot tub. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Positives were food at dinner + service from experienced staff. Junior staff definitely needed more training. Negatives - check in very slow/inefficient, no aircon in bedrooms, lots of dirty crockery/glassware on tables on terrace + bedroom corridors. Overall poor value for money. Felt that hotel focus was on business meeting/groups at the expense of individusls/couples

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so friendly which added to the perfect environment. My room was very clean and perfectly positioned to catch the light in the morning. I had the most luxurious massage (thanks Stephanie) and I'm already planning my next visit. The grounds are immaculate and I loved seeing the ducks in the moat. Kris and Gemma were on the front desk. They were very attentive and appear to genuinely love there job. Overall, my visit to New Hall Hotel & Spa was perfect in every way.

The milk in our room for tea and coffee was 2 months out of date. Requested new milk, took 2 hours for someone to get us some. Bed sheet had blood stains on it. Bathroom sealing had mould. For the price I paid I expected a lot b er ter than this

Gardens and house overall are beautiful. Feels like you’re staying in a national trust property. Staff are super helpful. Our suite for a family of four was perfect, would recommend the Sachaverelle suite - awesome bathroom. Just think the bar/lounge/restaurant need a bit of money spending on them. Loved our stay though for an extended family celebration.

Beautiful property, room had constant noise due to big fans outside window. Stayed in Sirius, beautiful room but not if you are a light sleeper. Bar service was extremely slow as there was not enough staff. Staff were lovely just not enough of them and it wasn’t overly busy so that was not the problem. Spa and breakfast were very nice

I stayed in the room called Sirius which is one of the larger rooms with plenty of space and had windows facing 3 different aspects. Service was great and very welcoming by all. The delicious food in the restaurant and the breakfast ordered the to room scheme was a great idea. Nicely maintained grounds with walks into some woods. Couldn’t figure out why it’s not a 5 star.

Wanting to be close to great food and other fun in Birmingham but away from the stress, New Hall was perfect for our group of five friends. The spa and their staff don’t get enough praise. The lounges and gardens and drinks make for easy unwinding. Of course, the grounds and the atmosphere are the draw. I was expecting to be overcharged for services as a result but they really provided value. The actual bedrooms (at least ours) were smaller and not fancy but they did leave nice treats for my birthday :)

Wow. This hotel is beautiful. So much history, wonderful grounds. It's peaceful and quiet. The food is incredible but what really stood out for my family and I was the customer service. The manager, Louis, opened the door for us upon arrival and took photos for us on departure. The point here is that from start to finish his professionalism was exceptional. There was an impatient customer behind us on check-in but Louis didn't panic, he politely told him he was dealing with us first and would be with him shortly. The attention to detail and willingness to help us at all times clearly rubbed off on all the staff throughout the hotel. The hospitality industry should take a lesson from the way they do things here. We had an amazing time.

The staff were very obliging .The receptionists were welcoming . The restaurant staff were always helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant was too small for the number of people wanting breakfast. Meaning staff rushing around trying to please and cater for all their clients.

Just got back from a stay that felt like a dream birthday treat and retreat. The hotel was cosy, beautiful. The ground was so peaceful, it felt like time slowed down. Every corner invited calm and rest. Above all though, was the staff. They were genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. It surpassed my expectations. I can’t recommend New Hall enough.

Bar service was extremely slow as there was not enough staff. Staff were lovely just not enough of them and it wasn’t overly busy so that was not the problem. Spa and breakfast were very nice

Negatives - check in very slow/inefficient, no aircon in bedrooms, lots of dirty crockery/glassware on tables on terrace + bedroom corridors. Overall poor value for money. We had an absolutely fabulous time at this hotel, super value for the money, the staff were really nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to watch Aston Villa. A taxi ride is 15 mins from the hotel to the stadium and cost £25.

We liked the hotel and its location suited us as the friends we were visiting lived nearby, good price for the nights accommodation, great food in a lovely setting but a little expensive, staff very helful and nothing a problem.

This venue exceeded our expectations. We were staying overnight after a long drive at the end of a working day, heading on to an appointment next day. We'd chosen New Hall due to the location and possibility of some pampering. What we hadn't factored in was the quality of the restaurant. I feel churlish for having called to check that feeding vegans would be OK. There were several excellent vegan options on the dinner menu and on the breakfast menu. Service was excellent and the chef is a genius. Spa next morning did not disappoint. This is truly in different league to other hotels, loved it. Whilst the food in the restaurant is amazing, the only criticism I have, is there needs to be more obvious options for families, 3 main course and drinks for over £100 pound for adults is fine for the quality of the food, but way to expensive for a family. It seems like a nice hotel but I think they were having some challenges when we stayed - our rooms were no where near each other, heat issues in one room as the thermostat appeared to be broken, and an hour wait with no explanation for dinner.

Lots of great things to rave about but the number one was the staff. They were exceptional, from the receiption to the restaurant, they really made our stay. Next to mention was the food which was top notch and our vegan was very well catered for. The spa was also very good, with a nice pool for splashing about as well as a modest sized gym. Ww had massages which were great. Finally the building and it's grounds were incredible. It even has a moat! It feels like your staying in a piece of history. Overall, top notch and highly recommended.

Amazing location and fantastic staff. We booked for a single night as a Christmas treat for 6 of us ranging from 9 to 84. The hotel itself is simply stunning, oozing history everywhere you look. What made the occasion so special however was the quality of service from every member of staff. From check in, to the spa through to our excellent Christmas meal nothing was too much trouble and everyone was polite and warm Our meal itself was of a very high standard. We had to wait a short time to order and be served our starters but from that point on it really was exceptional Given the occasion and the spread of ages in our party I cannot praise the venue enough. We booked this hotel last minute when our previous accommodation let us down. What a surprise! The hotel is gorgeous. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, the hotel was very charming, the grounds were stunning as well.
