Regular repair / replacement of critical items major issue. Examples during my stay, A/C stopped worked on Saturday, maintenance unable to fix and had to sleep with a 80 degree room, multiple other rooms had the same issue (clearly fix when fail policy). One of two small elevators not working. High traffic doors difficult to open due to parts literally falling off. No managers over the weekends to address gaps. Pictures might look nice, but go somewhere else.

This is a very nice hotel in downtown Fond du Lac right across the street from two very nice restaurants and the hotel restaurant and cafe are also very nice. The room is very nicely appointed with nice walk-in shower and a very comfortable queen size bed. Good internet speed and the area was very quiet during our stay. Attached parking garage is very convenient. The only downside was the AC was a bit noisy and cycled on and off.

Fridge didn't work, light switches did nothing, our shower was leaking, and our TV was stuck in "store" mode, so it was stuck on one channel. And then we had several huge spiders in our room, and in one of the bathrooms, they didn't put new stuff in the toiletries box since the last person who stayed, was used q tips left. So gross, makes me wonder actually how clean everything actually was.

The lobby was beautiful. When I checked in, I was the only one at the desk. The gal was looking down at her computer. Never acknowledged me. Then without saying anything like “I’ll be right with you” she went back behind in the office and came out 2 minutes later. Still didn’t acknowledge me. Finally after about a minute she looked up. I had to tell her I was checking in. Couldn’t find my reservation until the 3rd time I told her my name. Hotel was not busy. Never saw anyone else in the elevator or hallways. We were put on the 4th floor, all the way down at the end of the hall, in the corner room, looking over a roof. The room was quite small. The bathroom was clean and updated but tiny. Our beds had tall footboards, my husband is 6’5”, so that was uncomfortable. The room was very stuffy and when we turned the fan or AC on it smelled of horrible mold and sounded like an airplane. The fan in the bathroom had chunks of lint and dirt hanging from it. There was an empty beer bottle under one of the chairs, left behind by previous guest. On site free parking. Just not impressed with overall stay.

It was horrible. I’m not impressed. The hotel was dirty. I found random socks shoved in places, all the surfaces were sticky, the grime in the bathroom was disgusting, and crusty, no amenities, and they stole $100 from me and said I smoked in the room. I NEVER SMOKED in the room. Spend your money else where.

Fancy, marble, pop up tv, but not impressed. There was construction out front so after traveling for 4 hours, had a hard time finding the place. They could have emailed. When we finally find it I go in to get check in. At first there was no clerk at the desk but she came quickly. She gave me the instructions to park, etc, but it was detailed since it involved going in to the ramp, taking the elevator, going through the courtyard, winding around to the elevator, etc. I asked if there was a map - no. Get to the room - no microwave. There is nothing in the room to help you navigate the stay - nothing about the hotel except it's history, nothing touristy of things to see, no welcoming papers, nothing about the restaurants in the hotel or the area. Ice bucket, but did not see a place to get it filled unless you went down to the bar. They had lights around the bottom of the bed, but when you woke up during the night it was too bright and didn't know if there was a way to turn it off or down - since there was no information. Can't get my makeup on in the bathroom - too dark even with the special light up mirror - I may have gone in the closet with a flashlight. Often times, coming and going, there was nobody at the front desk even if it is to give you a cheerful "hi!". We hadn't been in a hotel since Covid and even though this one looked nice, It was a disappointment. We knew there was no pool and that was ok. It just felt cold and not much contact with any staff.

Gorgeous remodel after Wyndham bought the hotel. I remember this being a dumpy, but popular, Ramada back in the day, and the quality differences are incredible. Gorgeous decor, super comfortable beds, easy access to everything in Fond du Lac. Free parking was a big plus as well. Cafe on the first floor had okay breakfast sandwiches. Wifi was not great. It was incredibly slow when you could even connect, and the front desk said they had "instructions on getting on the Wifi," however that didn't exist. It's just an open network that drags. We resorted to using our phones as an access point. Service at every interaction was fantastic, though. Hotel was surprisingly quiet despite there being a wedding. We'd stay here again for sure.

This is a beautiful, elegant hotel located in Fond Du Lac. The Lobby was elegant and impressive. The rooms were tastefully decorated though not large were just right. The bed was comfortable, pillows so soft and to top it all off the TV was located tucked away in the foot of the bed with a remote control to raise and lower it. The bathroom was clean and there was a rag to remove makeup! I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Just one small negative: the internet was a little slow at times.

Beautiful hotel , very nice room and house keeping was great. The area around the hotel was very safe and quite also Many places to eat with in walking distance! The only problem for me is the hotel staff was never at the desk it was like a ghost town almost always and the bar didn’t open till 4 and closed at 9 they also had a restaurant but I never saw it open!

Very friendly desk clerk. The lobby is stunning! Marcus the bartender was fun and friendly. The sole chef on duty cooked a delicious steak and sides. (4th of July!) The room is historic yet modern amenities. And the bed … wow. Like heaven. This hotel is a true gem!

stayed in the king suite. for the price it could not be beat was comparable to hotels in the area but they were not in downtown on main Street. plenty of shops and restaurants within a small city block. great for walking. beautiful building.

We loved it. The room was really nice, and the bed was oh so comfortable! The lobby in your hotel is so glamorous and gorgeous! I just wish the restaurants and bar had been open. The entire experience was exceptional!

Great historic hotel beautifully renovated with a relatively new chef in place at their on site Table One restaurant. We had a wonderfully inspired dinner featuring farm to table freshness, and first rate preparation and service. We stay here every visit to Fond du Lac. You should too!

This hotel has been remodeled since our previous stay, is updated and stylish. We did not eat at the restaurant, but enjoyed the bar and drinks from the bartender who was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the room with the extra sitting area, but thought it could use more lighting. There should be a standing lamp on each end of the couch, and a desk lamp on the desk. The staff was very accommodating and did bring some extra table lamps from another room.

This hotel is a wonderful classic in downtown Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. It has a wonderful Art Deco style with a strong lean towards a classy 30's theme. The DreamCloud bed was one of the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept on. My soon to be mother-in-law said that she wanted to take the bed home. Our dinner at their restaurant was delicious! We had several courses and it was all cooked to perfection.
