Beautiful place with great views. Well appointed and modern. Only draw back is the the roofbar didn’t have any sittings or service for guest on the night we wanted to enjoy it. Even though there were plenty of chairs snd soces, we weren't allowed to sit or get service.

Beautiful hotel and the perfect location. They have bikes that they offer but the tires were deflated, I had to swap out bikes twice because of the tires. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and friendly staff.

Excellent hotel right on the wharf. Tons of dining options and good to walk around at night. This hotel is close to all of the monuments and museums. Parking is expensive if you have a rental car.

My stay at the Pendry was amazing. The food options poolside were great. The Cuban wrap is a must. The staff at the pool were very accommodating and help. The only complaints about the pool is that there was a lot of loose tiles on the pool deck. The bed was very comfortable and rooms were very spacious.

I visit DC regularly for work but have always stayed at another hotel on the Wharf. I needed several rooms and only the Pendry could accommodate me. I loved it! The rooftop bar edamame, sushi, and drink were excellent. Keiko was gracious and accommodated my group. The host was not at all helpful with mixed messages about reserved seating and did absolutely nothing to try and help my group find tables and chairs. Thank goodness for Keiko! The gym is fabulous! Room service is excellent and timely which it’s important when you’re on a tight schedule. I especially loved the views of the Potomac. I will be returning to Pendry. Thank you!

While the reception area is small and quaint, this location is situated in a very convenient location on the river, where plenty of restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The spa and pool area are attractive and calming and the rooftop restaurant, Moonraker, has a wonderful view of the river and city. The property is clean and well maintained, the room was quite nice, and the staff and service were outstanding (save for one receptionist with a hyphenated name and skull tattoo on her chest, who is curt and borderline rude). Commendations for Nya at the spa, Donald and the young lady from the pool area, Executive Chef Barry, Yana in reception, and Janet from the Pendry bar. The bell staff were also to be commended. Almost everyone went out of their way to ensure my stay was accommodating, my needs were anticipated and met, thus my expectations as a guest were exceeded. Details were not overlooked and I had a great interactions with 99% of staff. It was a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to return.

We started in our nation's capital, where the Pendry Hotels & Resorts hotel at The Wharf was our stylish home base. Its rooftop bar, Moonraker, and the gorgeous outdoor pool were absolute highlights. The actual birthday dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell's Kitchen was a fiery and unforgettable experience. We ended the night at the MGM Grand for a little gambling, where Luca was lucky and I broke even. We also loved the fresh, local feel of The Fish Shop and the delicious food at Pink Tiger (The owner sings). We also enjoyed lunch with Christine Clifford, CMB and her son, Grant.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area. We had the corner king bedroom. The view is spectacular. If you are looking for something quiet this is not the hotel you want to stay at. It’s very loud ( day and night)The room is extremely small( 500 square feet but the way it’s built feels very small). The windows are see-through so everyone from outside can see you from the room. I think that’s a little awkward. The bed is uncomfortable and the cleaning is not that great. Stayed in DC for 5 nights with work and the toilet was not cleaned one single time. They would come and make the bed, maybe vacuum. For $700 per night I don’t think it’s worth it. I would not stay here again.

The staff were fantastic and so friendly! It was a very busy weekend with the flower bloom. I had higher expectations for the Pendry on cleaning and attention to details as my room felt slightly dirty and the hallways always had something gross on the floors, but nonetheless I really enjoyed my stay. Bar Pendry was a memorable evening, and the fitness facility was top notch. Moonraker is great for a view but service is slow so just be prepared for longer wait times. A great few days for my visit to the area, I could walk everywhere! The Wharf has tons of great options for dining as well.

The staff, property and location were wonderful food was good but I waited over 3hr to get in my room because housekeeping was cleaning only to arrive and find hair in my tub and mug with dirty finger prints on thecoffee station.

The Pendry DC is a truly beautiful property that delivers all the luxury feels. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. They accommodated an early check-in, and when I casually mentioned my boyfriend’s birthday and that we were in town for the Cowboy Carter tour, they went above and beyond—later surprising us with a handwritten birthday card and a treat from their bakery. Such a personal, thoughtful touch! We spent most of our stay enjoying the pool area, which does fill up quickly, but I was lucky to snag seats every day. It’s a great place to relax with fantastic views. Our room was spotless throughout our stay, with sweet little trinkets left behind by housekeeping that added a lovely personal touch. Staff in general were undeniably pleasant and welcoming. The only disappointment came at Moonraker, the rooftop restaurant. We had a reservation for a celebratory dinner but ended up sitting for an hour without any service. It was disheartening, especially since it was meant to be a special night. I did share this with the manager, who was very apologetic and offered to comp dinner the following evening or breakfast instead, which I appreciated as a genuine attempt to make things right. Overall, I’d rate the Pendry DC an 8.5 out of 10. It’s a gorgeous, design-forward hotel with warm service and plenty of thoughtful details—just be sure to plan for the busy pool scene and clarify expectations at the rooftop if it’s a big occasion.

Pendry hotel problems: 1. First night no turn down 2. Upon coming back to room we had dirty wine glasses, and towels in bathroom shower floor 3. Second night: knock on door requested turn down, then she never came in, so I had to track her down. 4. Very disappointed with level of service 5. Day 3: reported everything above, came back to room, 1 dirty wine glass left in room, bucket of water from yesterday’s wine chilling left on table

I love the view in my room. I had a view of the harbor, which was gorgeous. The carpet in the hallway leading up to the room looked very dingy that needed to be changed. I did find hair that was not mine in my room that was put off. The staff was wonderful. Service was wonderful. Overall, my state was great. They just need to tighten up on their cleaning.

It’s very loud ( day and night)The room is extremely small( 500 square feet but the way it’s built feels very small). The windows are see-through so everyone from outside can see you from the room. I think that’s a little awkward. The bed is uncomfortable and the cleaning is not that great. Stayed in DC for 5 nights with work and the toilet was not cleaned one single time. They would come and make the bed, maybe vacuum. For $700 per night I don’t think it’s worth it. I would not stay here again.

What a completely beautiful property. It’s new so everything is pristine, the common areas, restaurants, bars but the real star are tge skykine views of DC. The rooms are luxurious with welcoming touches like the breakfast nook area and heated bathroom floors

While the rooms were on the smaller side which I must admit was a little concerning. Once getting in the room it made sense and flowed flawlessly everything from the view to the bed was amazing the staff helped me with my special request with ease and made everything so easy that alone made the trip 10x better

The concept of the hotel/spalike resort is good, however, the suite layout is odd. The dressing room needs better lighting & access to the bathroom, instead of going through the bedroom & foyer to get to the bathroom. The large foyer is wasted space, there was no room in the refrigerator, it was prefilled with alcohol. The shower needs a lip to hold the water in, because it floods the sink area. There isn't enough slant for the water to go to the drain. The shower stall is small & to prevent water going out, it's difficult to manuever around. There are no shelves in the shower to hold soap, etc. There is a pull down seat that takes up the entire shower stall & water hits the seat, pours out of the stall. The room with the toilet is good for privacy, it's unnecessarily large for just a toilet, there isn't a fan/vent in that room or in the sink room. I'm calling them rooms because they each have a door. The employees were all courteous & helpful, but we had to call twice in an hour for our luggage to be brought up, then again the next day for an iron & board. The policy to access the rooftop bar is reservation only, even for hotel guests. We learned to make immediate reservations because they turn people away even though the bar is mostly empty & the rooftop staff isn't making tips. The lobby is small with 2 checkin desks & a small waiting area. Location is great for walking the wharf area many restaurants. Will stay in the area again, but will try another hotel.

Issues when checking out.I was not allowed to self check out and was told that my card was not going through. I presented a different but eventually asked to present the original card. We noticed a large charge for MoonRaker restaurant on our folio before checking out. We notified the front desk that we did not dine at MoonRaker during our 6 day stay. It was taken off of final folio at checkout. We returned home to find that this charge was not taken off the folio and was charged to our credit card. I called the hotel and they couldn't explain why this was charged to my credit card necessitating a call to my bank to start a chargeback. Not impressed by the lack of attention to this matter by the hotel.

They accommodated an early check-in, and when I casually mentioned my boyfriend’s birthday and that we were in town for the Cowboy Carter tour, they went above and beyond—later surprising us with a handwritten birthday card and a treat from their bakery. I was contacted by concierge a day before my arrival (great!) and sold on the spa services and booked in a reservation at the restaurant for the second night. The concierge confirmed the spa hours and access. When I arrived and asked about using the spa, I was told the spa was closed and would be closed the next day (no one knew why). The staff friendliness and service was top tier! I went for my birthday and the team there made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed! The main entrance is tucked away and with immediate walkable distance to food, coffee and views at the water front. The king room with a view was much larger than expected with a great sitting area outside of the main bedroom. I thought I was never going to want to leave the bed as the pillows and bedding were super comfortable. It was also unexpectedly quiet even though my room was just above the pool area I never sensed any disturbances. I was able to lounge out at the pool briefly before the rain, and it was definitely a continued extension of relaxation and service. The spa is by far where I spent most of my time, gaving had multiple services during my stay in addition to coming back again and again to use the steam room. The spa staff from front desk to technician were top tier and high class. I also enjoyed the view and sushi at the moonraker rooftop restaurant. It all just came together for a wonderful stay. I’ll be back for sure this fall!

We did a staycation for V-day. We booked the spa, had lunch, and booked one night. The spa, Jessica was phenomenal. Lunch was amazing and he was so kind. Then we left for dinner and came back for a drink on the rooftop. This ruined the entire experience. The roof was barely full, she told us to wait on a 30 min waitlist, and her attitude was horrible. We went back to our overpriced room and my husband called the front desk only to receive more bad customer service. The TV didn’t work. If I could I would have just gone home at that point. It’s unfortunate that something so simple ruined our entire experience. I’ll never go back and if I could get a refund I would. Pendry management please get your customer service for your rooftop figured out for your hotel guests.

While the reception area is small and quaint, this location is situated in a very convenient location on the river, where plenty of restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The spa and pool area are attractive and calming and the rooftop restaurant, Moonraker, has a wonderful view of the river and city. The property is clean and well maintained, the room was quite nice, and the staff and service were outstanding (save for one receptionist with a hyphenated name and skull tattoo on her chest, who is curt and borderline rude). Commendations for Nya at the spa, Donald and the young lady from the pool area, Executive Chef Barry, Yana in reception, and Janet from the Pendry bar. The bell staff were also to be commended. Almost everyone went out of their way to ensure my stay was accommodating, my needs were anticipated and met, thus my expectations as a guest were exceeded. Details were not overlooked and I had a great interactions with 99% of staff. It was a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to return.

I stayed here months ago and was absolutely in love with it--the customer service, the accommodations, the food, the furniture, everything is top notch. I stayed somewhere else on the Wharf on a recent trip and immediately regretted not staying here again. Lessons learned, I will ONLY stay at the Pendry for future trips to DC.

I liked the location, easy to get to everything. The rooms where clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay. My only issue was my experience at the pool. Rented a day bed and our server never gave us towels for the bed and was not attentive. I placed an order for food with her and never seen her again. Had to ask a separate server after waiting 30 minutes and was told the oder was never place and that she would place it. After waiting an additional 30 min I inquired about my order to different server. That time, he placed the order again and eventually got my meal another 30 minutes later. I waited over an hour for food. It was pretty frustrating having to go through all of that for food. We were definitely not attended to like everyone else which was pretty upsetting to experience.

I had a wonderful stay at the Pendry. I had my puppy with me, and no stone was left unturned for my fur baby. At check-in I received a bag of treats for her, and was offered a dog bed and food bowl for the room. The birthday decorations in my room upon arrival were the best. And I cannot say enough good things about Moonraker's breakfast and drink

We did a staycation for V-day. We booked the spa, had lunch, and booked one night. The spa, Jessica was phenomenal. Lunch was amazing and he was so kind. Then we left for dinner and came back for a drink on the rooftop. This ruined the entire experience. The roof was barely full, she told us to wait on a 30 min waitlist, and her attitude was horrible. We went back to our overpriced room and my husband called the front desk only to receive more bad customer service. The TV didn’t work. If I could I would have just gone home at that point. It’s unfortunate that something so simple ruined our entire experience. I’ll never go back and if I could get a refund I would. Pendry management please get your customer service for your rooftop figured out for your hotel guests.

I visit DC regularly for work but have always stayed at another hotel on the Wharf. I needed several rooms and only the Pendry could accommodate me. I loved it! The rooftop bar edamame, sushi, and drink were excellent. Keiko was gracious and accommodated my group. The host was not at all helpful with mixed messages about reserved seating and did absolutely nothing to try and help my group find tables and chairs. Thank goodness for Keiko! The gym is fabulous! Room service is excellent and timely which it’s important when you’re on a tight schedule. I especially loved the views of the Potomac. I will be returning to Pendry. Thank you!

While the reception area is small and quaint, this location is situated in a very convenient location on the river, where plenty of restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The spa and pool area are attractive and calming and the rooftop restaurant, Moonraker, has a wonderful view of the river and city. The property is clean and well maintained, the room was quite nice, and the staff and service were outstanding (save for one receptionist with a hyphenated name and skull tattoo on her chest, who is curt and borderline rude). Commendations for Nya at the spa, Donald and the young lady from the pool area, Executive Chef Barry, Yana in reception, and Janet from the Pendry bar. The bell staff were also to be commended. Almost everyone went out of their way to ensure my stay was accommodating, my needs were anticipated and met, thus my expectations as a guest were exceeded. Details were not overlooked and I had a great interactions with 99% of staff. It was a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to return.

We started in our nation's capital, where the Pendry Hotels & Resorts hotel at The Wharf was our stylish home base. Its rooftop bar, Moonraker, and the gorgeous outdoor pool were absolute highlights. The actual birthday dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell's Kitchen was a fiery and unforgettable experience. We ended the night at the MGM Grand for a little gambling, where Luca was lucky and I broke even. We also loved the fresh, local feel of The Fish Shop and the delicious food at Pink Tiger (The owner sings). We also enjoyed lunch with Christine Clifford, CMB and her son, Grant.

Staff were very nice. Room was clean. The bartender was good. I was a little surprised at the pool fee. No one advised us there was a charge to sit by the pool- otherwise we would have sat elsewhere. Perfect location on the Wharf.

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in Absolutely everything was 5 star from arrival and recognising our sons 21st birthday, then fabulous king rooms with a view we would never tire of; the rooftop bar Moonraker took our breath away, the pool is akin to a luxury beach club. Food was delicious; amazing array of drinks and cocktails, staff were consistently helpful & thoughtful, the little extras made it a memorable me experience. Add to all of that the location at the heart of the Wharf with so many bars and restaurants and easy to get into DC and all monuments, attractions etc this was a perfect 3 night stay to end our mini American road trip. Thank you Pendry, we wish you had hotels in Europe; we’re already looking at others you currently have.
