Great resort. The service is exceptional. Every person wants to do anything and everything to make your stay enjoyable, easy, and safe. They are focused on your comfort and always wanting to please. The heated infinity pools are amazing. The beach does have rocks so get swim shoes. Only two restaurants allow kids but they have kids club so parents can enjoy dinner at the other restaurants. Amazing experience. Highly recommend

The gardens around this property are phenomenal.the food is excellent and the service amazing. We enjoyed water aerobics, a salsa dance class, kayaking, and snorkeling, as well as a food preparation class. The one thing that was a challenge was they were doing construction right near our room. The hotel compensated us a bit for the noise, but it did not make for a relaxing stay if you wanted to be in your room or on the deck during the day, The tennis courts and basketball area was near the construction area and was not being kept up well. Overall, the hotel was very pleasant.

The place is a nice hotel but it's only good for honeymooners or seniors. it's very quiet nothing fun is going on, no music, no entertainment, after the dark there is no lights around the pool area everything is dark the only thing you can do is eat and go to bed if you don't want to go to the city. Food quality is very good but the restaurants are not very attractive or have any kind of music or entertainment. The craziest part was that even though we paid for all inclusive and we checked in after 6:00 p.m.after 11:30 which was their check out time they didn't let us eat or drink and told us we have to pay. I have a stayrd in so many all inclusive hotels and they always let you eat after you check out and let you stay there until you catch your flight. There is no bar in the pool and you just have to order everything. What I love about all inclusive is the buffet style restaurants but this hotel doesn't have any buffet style, you either have to be dressed up and dine in at the restaurant or order in room service or at the pool service. Each building has one restaurant only and you have to use the shuttle to go to the other restaurants of the hotel.

Although the construction at the beach Monday through Friday is a bit noisy, there’s nothing the hotel can really do about that. The facilities are beautiful, food is pretty stellar for an all-inclusive resort, and the staff were friendly. Only note is the housekeeping forgot to give us stuff more days, and our room service missed things too.

We liked our spacious room with ocean views, food overall, staff was always super helpful, service at dining restaurants, some of the activities were great: kayaking, yoga and hiking. We didnt like the trolley transportation, limited breakfast buffet, dinining reservation system, swimming area on the beach is very small, not enough chairs at the main pool.

Property is beautiful as always. And the rooms views and staff are amazing. It is growing a little too quickly for its staff so there was no pool chairs at both pools. Two days where the towels ran out. Long waits for the trolleys.

garza blanca is in a beautiful location. the hotel is very clean and well maintained. views from hillside buildings/pools/restaurants are stunning. beach is very clean and swimmable. steaks at bocados restaurant were excellent and service poolside and restaurants was very nice. those are the good. now with the bad - layout of hotel is WEIRD. you have to spend 20 mins at least taking trolley up and down the hill because most amenities are on the hillside. there are multiple buildings in the hill and gyms are on the hill. you don't realize how annoying it is until you are there and have to keep waiting for a trolley. next up - there are very limited entertainment options, music is quiet at the pools and not much going on for kids. kids club is small, sad, outdated. my daughter saw it and never wanted to go back. pools dont have any water amenities for kids. overall hotels not geared for families but probably better for couples or adult friend groups. with that being said, pools have beautiful views and are infinity pools and extremely clean which we appreciated. food/drinks are fine quality, not the best but ok for all inclusive. the thing that bothered us the most was that multiple restaurants and menu items are not included in the all inclusive plan. please do not call it all inclusive if you're not going to honor all inclusive because that was very off putting. further, there are no buffet options for lunch and dinner which is annoying for families. also food options limited

Pros: Stunning resort. Infinity pools were beautiful and overlooked the ocean. Rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully designed. Every room at this resort has an ocean view. You do not get that at other resorts. The food was spectacular! Every restaurant was fine dining. No buffet options for dinner or lunch. Many different restaurants to choose from. Would go back just for the food. Spa was beautiful with a rooftop view of the ocean and mountains. Best massage I have had! Staff were very kind and approachable. Cons: If you are a beach person, this resort is not for you. But in my opinion, the infinity pools make up for it. The beach was small and very rocky. The ocean waves were too strong to swim, even though we were on a cove. They have lounge chairs set up on the beach, but we didn’t use them. If you want to book spa services, book them when you are there. We booked ahead of time and paid more money and could not get a refund. They have spa deals once you get there. Not a lot of entertainment and no music by the pools. We brought our portable speaker to the pool and we had many people thank us for the music. Adult only pool area is only for people who stay at Musai, even though it is part of Garza Blanca resort. Would have been nice to enjoy the Musai roof top pool as the views were amazing! Overall we had a wonderful time at this resort and I would go back in a heart beat. The food, service, facilities and views were outstanding!

My son was the only one of the kids club. The room service food was absolutely horrible. The Deadpool lock on our door was broke. They tried fixing it but it still wasn't working properly and my wife couldn't even open or close the deadlock. The showers do not get cleaned very well and the handicap handle in one of the showers had disconnected from the tile set bolt. Property around the resort is amazing. Some of the staff was great some of them were ignoring us. Spa imagine massages were way over priced. The room maintenance needs to be much better. We ordered room service but I would not even eat it It was that terrible. The breakfast restaurant was good but just average nothing 5 star. Paying $600 for a couples massage that was not even great is what really ruined my stay. The kids club the ladies were amazing but my son was the only one there all 3 days. Bonnie was amazing, our concierge lady. The nature preserve and the gardens next door are absolutely beautiful. I just feel it's overpriced and under maintained.

We had an amazing vacation and are extremely satisfied with our stay! The hotel was excellent, featuring very attentive and responsive staff. The rooms and the entire property were impeccably clean, which added greatly to our comfort. We also really enjoyed the variety of options available in the restaurants. Our kids were thrilled with the experience as well. If we could suggest one thing to improve, it would be to add a bit more children's activities to keep the little ones engaged. Overall, everything was fantastic, and we will definitely be coming back!

The property felt safe, but the shops available weren’t very impressive. Its distance from town made it a place where you’d mostly want to stay at the hotel. While the food was delicious, there could have been more options given how far town was. For the price, the cleanliness was disappointing. However, the staff were very nice and friendly.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights. The property was beautiful, and the staff were awesome!! There were a few negatives during our stay. - There were never any pool towels. Once they were out that was it. we used our room towels everyday. - The hot tubs were always full of kids. - our room had no view, even though it was advertised as a panoramic ocean view room. - The walls are paper thin. We could hear every word coming from the next room. - The beach was extremely rocky. We had a great time but for the price I expected more.

Beautiful resort. Really nice and friendly people. Least all-inclusive all-inclusive resort I’ve been to. Too many items in each menu that are not included in the all-inclusive plan. Like lots of them. Stayed in the Oceanside penthouse, and it was literally the best hotel room I’ve ever had. So spacious and nice. Would have been perfect for 3 couples, but was wonderful for our family of 4 as well. Butler service was not helpful. They were very kind, though. All service people were friendly and great. Had a large mouse in our garbage can in the kitchen. Not ideal. Wanted to have us attend a time-share sales meeting there. Tried to get us to book it when we were checking in. Not ideal way to start our stay. Overall, it was a beautiful resort with nice people. Not great value when you consider the exclusions on the menu (including alcohol exclusions too) and lack of quality butler service. Considering these things, I’d hesitate to stay at a Tafer resort again.

At check in the young lady who helped us indicted we would be upgraded to a two bedroom suite. She said this was being done because we were Expedia VIP members. We were excited about the upgrade until we received our room and the exterior of the room was surrounded by vegetation. We had absolutely no view of the ocean. What we were not told was that we would lose the ocean front view we had reserved. Once we spoke to the same individual who assisted us and explained the situation she attempted to tell me that even though you reserve and pay for an ocean front view that doesn’t guarantee you will get one. She was not nice nor accommodating until we asked to speak to two other individuals in charge. The entire situation could have been handled differently. It set an awful start to our long awaited vacation and wasted time. It was disappointing.

My 2 bedroom 3 bath suite wasn’t available upon arrival, arrived on a Sunday wasn’t available until Tuesday after 4pm. They are not a kid friendly resort even though they say they are. Out of 4-5 restaurants only 2 allow children. Hotel can’t accommodate big parties over 8. Stayed for 5 nights had ongoing maintenance issues through out the stay AC problems. Our family is a group of 18 we travel every year for thanksgiving week, we made reservations at one of their restaurants for a thanksgiving dinner, we show up they don’t have us reserved for thanksgiving plates and can only offer “12” plates. This whole resort hotel is a s#>€% show. The 1 star is for the staff because of what their misleading management makes them go through.

We are Expedia Gold Members and have stayed at this property multiple times, but this visit was extremely disappointing. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and had informed the hotel in advance about this special occasion. Despite receiving several welcome emails, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the celebration in our room. At check-in, we were entitled to a complimentary upgrade if available. The supervisor, Nicole, and front desk staff, Susanna, refused to honor this benefit, even though a honeymoon room was available at the time. Their response was cold and dismissive, simply telling us we would have to pay if we wanted the upgrade. There was no effort to accommodate us, no attempt to make us feel valued, and no gesture of hospitality — even though this was our fifth stay at this property. The lack of professionalism and indifference shown by the staff ruined what was supposed to be a memorable celebration. Sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and unappreciated. For loyal guests and Expedia Gold Members, this treatment is unacceptable. We are looking forward to staying at your hotel again. For our upcoming visit, we would prefer to be assisted at check-in by different staff members than last time, as we want to ensure the warm and professional experience we know your hotel is known for. Great resort but definitely short staffed. Check in was a nightmare with rooms canceled due to a computer issue. We were part of a wedding party of 150 guests so this was a huge deal for many of us. Room service world quote 30 minutes for delivery and on one occasion took an hour and a half! I’d prefer a true time so I can decide if I want to order or not. The staff tried their best but were handicapped due to hotels lack of staffing.

The property is very nice and we had a really good time. My only complaint is that at the end of each meal they would have a device they would scan your wrist band and make you fill out a gratuity form. This is the first time I’ve experienced this at any all inclusive resort. Sometimes it would take a while for the server to get back to you so you can scan out. We didn’t realize this was a must do and one time the guy ran all the way out of to the front and stopped us from getting in the trolly to scan our wrist band. The wrist band scanning really left a bad taste in our mouth to the point I probably wouldn’t return to this resort.

Beautiful property, great resort for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding near protected Los Arcos. Perfect distance for Zip Lining excursions. Cuisine at property was amazing, but my only critique is make reservations prior to vacation if traveling with children so your dinner plans are not 8pm-9pm.

garza blanca is in a beautiful location. the hotel is very clean and well maintained. views from hillside buildings/pools/restaurants are stunning. beach is very clean and swimmable. steaks at bocados restaurant were excellent and service poolside and restaurants was very nice. those are the good. now with the bad - layout of hotel is WEIRD. you have to spend 20 mins at least taking trolley up and down the hill because most amenities are on the hillside. there are multiple buildings in the hill and gyms are on the hill. you don't realize how annoying it is until you are there and have to keep waiting for a trolley. next up - there are very limited entertainment options, music is quiet at the pools and not much going on for kids. kids club is small, sad, outdated. my daughter saw it and never wanted to go back. pools dont have any water amenities for kids. overall hotels not geared for families but probably better for couples or adult friend groups. with that being said, pools have beautiful views and are infinity pools and extremely clean which we appreciated. food/drinks are fine quality, not the best but ok for all inclusive. the thing that bothered us the most was that multiple restaurants and menu items are not included in the all inclusive plan. please do not call it all inclusive if you're not going to honor all inclusive because that was very off putting. further, there are no buffet options for lunch and dinner which is annoying for families. also food options limited

This resort is absolutely stunning! It’s in a beautiful nature preserve and is impeccably maintained. The service was remarkably prompt (particularly given the size of the property) and the staff was always incredibly gracious and kind. What really set this resort apart, though, were the incredible restaurants on site. We opted for the all-inclusive package (something we never do) and were blown away by the quality, the presentation and the variety of food and beverage offerings at the resort. Truly a culinary adventure!

Fantastic. Everyone was great. Food was incredible! Much better than any other all inclusive resort I’ve been to. The drinks were outstanding. I would strongly recommend, and also hope to one day come back!

Currently, there are restaurants and menu items that can’t be ordered under “all inclusive”. Also the alcohol included is very limited and cheap brands. They overcharge you for the non covered items. Garza Blanca was everything! I’ve stayed at all-inclusive hotels before, and sometimes the food can be disappointing—but not here. Every meal was absolutely delicious, especially at Bocados Steak House. Noemi from Bocados was amazing—so warm and attentive! Honestly, all the servers were excellent. The drinks were strong and never watered down. Thank you for such an unforgettable trip. I can’t wait to come back!

Pros: Stunning resort. Infinity pools were beautiful and overlooked the ocean. Rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully designed. Every room at this resort has an ocean view. You do not get that at other resorts. The food was spectacular! Every restaurant was fine dining. No buffet options for dinner or lunch. Many different restaurants to choose from. Would go back just for the food. Spa was beautiful with a rooftop view of the ocean and mountains. Best massage I have had! Staff were very kind and approachable. Cons: If you are a beach person, this resort is not for you. But in my opinion, the infinity pools make up for it. The beach was small and very rocky. The ocean waves were too strong to swim, even though we were on a cove. They have lounge chairs set up on the beach, but we didn’t use them. If you want to book spa services, book them when you are there. We booked ahead of time and paid more money and could not get a refund. They have spa deals once you get there. Not a lot of entertainment and no music by the pools. We brought our portable speaker to the pool and we had many people thank us for the music. Adult only pool area is only for people who stay at Musai, even though it is part of Garza Blanca resort. Would have been nice to enjoy the Musai roof top pool as the views were amazing! Overall we had a wonderful time at this resort and I would go back in a heart beat. The food, service, facilities and views were outstanding!

The property is very nice and we had a really good time. My only complaint is that at the end of each meal they would have a device they would scan your wrist band and make you fill out a gratuity form. This is the first time I’ve experienced this at any all inclusive resort. Sometimes it would take a while for the server to get back to you so you can scan out. We didn’t realize this was a must do and one time the guy ran all the way out of to the front and stopped us from getting in the trolly to scan our wrist band. The wrist band scanning really left a bad taste in our mouth to the point I probably wouldn’t return to this resort.

Pool bar, bar tender told me he was too busy to serve me, when his only job there is to serve the clients staying there. Sent back next day after the hotel food and bev manager asked if we wanted to come back and we said yes, made reservation and when we showed up, they recognized us and were super rude, and the bar supervisor came over and rudely told us to leave, and were owners here!

This was definitely a 5 star in my book! I would love to come back! The property is large, so you will need to get around by trolley which requires planning a few extra minutes in advance.

Everything is fantastic as usual, but please bring back your great Mexican seafood you had back in the days… (to many hot dogs and dry burgers) And it’s definitely not the fault of personal. You just changing your concept. Shrimp tacos, ceviche and aqua chile became I little less exciting than before
