We love El Cid resorts. Stayed many times. This time didn’t disappoint- comfy rooms, great pools and restaurants. We’ll be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ventus Ha. It was nice to be at the smaller, quieter resort but still have access to the other two resorts just acorss the street. Ruf, the roof top bar, is an excellent oasis and the bartender, Felix, took terrific care of us!

There are positives along with negatives to this hotel. The building is fresh and new with its two sky lounges and two pools. This being said, it is VERY noisy. The building and rooms have very little sound proofing. You will hear just about everything your neighbours are doing. It is right next to a busy boulevard with construction down the road. You will be woken at 6:30 am by the sound of dump trucks going by. At night it’s the gas golf cart shuttles dropping people off until midnight. The food is very good… if you can get reservations. It took 6 visits to the consierge and a large tip to get 4 reservations in the A La Cartes for a 7 nights stay. We waited upwards to an hour to get into the buffet. When we did get into the A La Cartes… they were half empty. The problem may be temporary as they looked understaffed.
